The Drowsy Chaperone Cast

Ka’lea is 15 and she is going into 10th grade. This is Ka’lea’s 2nd show with Rosebud Children’s Theatre. Some other roles she has done are Kaa in The Jungle Book (Tacoma Musical Playhouse), Travis from Footloose (Rosebud CTC). Some of Ka’lea’s hobbies include tap, jazz, and Hip-hop. Ka’lea would like to give a shout out to Piper and Casper because they made rehearsals much more fun.

Binnie is 17 and they are going into 12th grade. This is Binnie’s 2nd show with Rosebud Children’s Theatre. Some other roles they have done are Janis understudy in Mean Girls and Louisa in The Sound of Music with the FWHS Theatre Dept, and a Hotbox Doll in Guys and Dolls with Rosebud Children’s Theatre. Some of Binnie’s hobbies include Gymnastics, Cheer, Dance, and writing music. Binnie would like to give a shout out to Lamia’Sky for “convincing me to do this show with you, I couldn’t ask for a better bestie and cousin!”

Casper is 15 and they are going into 10th grade. This is Casper's 4th show with Rosebud Children’s Theatre. Some other roles they have done are Wes Warnicker in Footloose, and Captain Hook in Peter Pan (Meeker Middle School). Some of Casper’s hobbies include singing, drawing, and collecting random things. Casper would like to give a shout out to Ka'lea and Piper for making rehearsals fun and their best friend Fedya for always being right by their side and encouraging them to follow their passions.

Daniela is 18 years old and she is going into her freshman year at Western Washington University in Bellingham. This is Daniela’s first show with Rosebud Children’s Theatre. Some other roles she has done are Josephine “Ma” Strong in Urinetown (TJHS) and Maleficent in Disney’s Descendants: The Musical (TJHS). Some of Daniela’s hobbies include singing, drawing, and making music! Daniela would like to give a shout out to her family and friends for always supporting her throughout the time she has been involved in theater!

Amelie is 15 and she is going into 10th grade. This is Amelie’s 5th show with Rosebud Children’s Theatre. Some other roles she has done are Principal Clark in Footloose and Baron Elderfield in The Sound of Music. Some of Amelie's hobbies include bass guitar, reading, writing, and drawing. Amelie would like to give a shout out to her parents for supporting her.

Alinea is 18 and she is going into her junior year at the University of Washington- Seattle. This is Alinea’s 2nd show with Rosebud Children’s Theatre. Some other roles she has done are Anne Frank in The Diary of Anne Frank (FWHS), Cady Heron in Mean Girls High School Edition (FWHS), and Wendy Jo in Footloose (Rosebud CTC). Some of Alinea’s hobbies include reading and songwriting after midnight, working out, baking challah, and watching sitcoms with her parents. Alinea would like to give a shout out to her parents, siblings, and chosen theatre family for surrounding her with immense love and support. She is forever grateful. <3

Piper is 14 years old and she is going into 9th grade. This is Piper’s 6th show with Rosebud Children’s Theatre. Some other roles she has done are Cinderella/Giddy in Princess Whatshername, Tara in There’s A Monster In My Closet, and Hebsabuh in Is There A Doctor In The House; all with Rosebud Theatre. Some of Piper’s hobbies include bracelet making, reading, and baking. Piper would like to give a shout out to Casper, Ka’lea, and Mrs. Rose because they have been very helpful and supportive during her first summer with the teen summer show. She’s very excited and hopes you enjoy the show!

Lilas is 20 and they are going into their junior year at Central Washington University. This is their 4th and sadly last show with Rosebud Children’s Theatre. Some other roles they have done for Rosebud are the Minstrel in Once Upon a Mattress, Lt. Brannigan in Guys and Dolls, Ariel in Footloose. Some of their hobbies include crocheting, building scale models, and working on mixed media art projects. Lilas would like to give a shout out to their friends for always encouraging them and their favorite sibling Levi because he is truly a wonderful human. In their spare time you can find Lilas learning how to operate a genie lift.

Lamia’Sky is 18 years old and she is stepping up into her college life as a freshman at Saint Martin’s university. This is Lamia’Sky’s 3rd show with Rosebud, some fun characters she’s been played in rosebud were Sarah Brown in Guys and Dolls, Rusty in Footloose, and her favorite character that she played in her high school career was Janis, from Mean Girls at Federal Way High School. Some of Lamia’Sky’s hobbies are songwriting, drawing, singing, dancing, and reading. Lamia’Sky would like to give a shoutout to all her theater family, and friends. A big shoutout to Binnie for always having an amazing performance and attitude whenever she’s around.

Drake is 17 years old and he is going into 12th grade. This is Drake’s 3rd show with Rosebud Children’s Theatre. Some other roles that he has done are Willard in Footloose (Rosebud), Friedrick in The Sound of Music (FWHS), and Angie the Ox in Guys and Dolls (Rosebud). Some of Drake’s hobbies include swimming, golf, and leadership.

June is 18 years old and she is going into Marine Biology at Western Washington University in the fall. This is June’s third show with Rosebud Children’s Theatre. Some other roles she has done are Urleen in Footloose and Hotbox Dancer in Guys and Dolls. She is so excited to be back again for another summer and wants to give a special shout out to her amazing and gorgeous friends Tumble, Joop, T, Comet, and Mater, her parents, and her boyfriend Connor for ALWAYS showing up for her and (literally) being her biggest cheerleaders.

Laurel is 18 and recently graduated from Maritime High School. She will be attending Western Washington University as a Marine Biology Major this fall. This is Laurel’s third show with Rosebud Children’s Theatre. Last year, she played Ethel McCormack in Footloose, and the year previous she was a featured dancer in Guys and Dolls. Laurel enjoys roller skating, doing crafts, playing games, watching her favorite shows, exploring outside, and spending time with friends. Laurel would like to thank her friends and family for all their support during this big transition to college.

Lilly is 15 and they are going into 10th grade. This is Lilly’s 5th show with Rosebud Children’s Theatre. Some other roles they have done are Vi Moore in Footloose! and Edith Frank in The Diary Of Anne Frank (FWHS) Some of Lilly’s hobbies include drawing, painting, and decorating her room. Lilly would like to give a shout out to her mom for driving her to theater rehearsals and always supporting her and the theater.

Avi is 18 and he is going into his junior year of college. This is Avi’s 4th show with Rosebud Children’s Theatre. Some other roles he has done are Captain Von Trapp in The Sound of Music (Federal Way High School), Otto Frank in The Diary of Anne Frank (Federal Way High School), and Ren in Footloose (Rosebud CTC) Some of Avi’s hobbies include gaming, writing, and baking. Avi would like to give a shout out to his friends, family and girlfriend, Josie, for always being supportive and caring for his passion for theatre.

Liev is 16 and he is going into 11th grade. This is Liev’s 1st show with Rosebud Children’s Theatre. Some other roles he has done are Rolf Gruber in The Sound Of Music (FWHS) Some of Liev’s hobbies include graphic design, drawing, and acting. Liev would like to give a shout out to his mom for always supporting what he loves to do.
