The Cat in the Hat (Alexis Duncan)
Alexis Duncan is the daughter of Stacy and Shawn Duncan. She is a senior at Rowan County Senior High School and has been a part of the drama department since her freshman year. This is Alexis’s 7th production at RCSHS. Alexis is also part of the National Honors Society, the National Society of High School Scholars, Student Government Association, and recently received the title of Rowan County’s Distinguished Young Woman. When Alexis isn’t in the theatre, she enjoys singing, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. Tonight, she will be portraying The Cat in the Hat
Jojo (Mia Carver)
Mia Carver is the daughter of Brandy and Thomas Carver. Mia is a freshman at Rowan County Senior High School. She enjoys acting, singing, and piano. She has been a part of the high school’s plays since second grade. She was in “Beauty and the Beast”, “The Sound of Music”, “Music Man”, “Legally Blonde”, “A Christmas Carol”, and “Little woman'' as well as being in Shooting Stars Theater Productions. Mia also did the lighting for “Mark Twain” production at the high school. Tonight she will be playing Jojo.
Horton the Elephant (Tommy Howard)
Tommy Howard is the son of Nathan and Mykie Howard. He is a Junior at Rowan County Senior High School. Tommy has been in past theatre productions such as A Christmas Carol, It’s a Wonderful Life, A Night with Mark Twain, Little Women, and has done many Shooting Stars Youth Theater camps and shows. He is a part of TSA, National Honor Society, and the Thespians. He plays the oboe in the symphonic band, many percussion instruments for the marching band, and the vibraphone for jazz band. Tommy plans to attend Morehead State University after high school. Tonight, he will be portraying Horton.
Gertrude  (Alex Fouch)
Alex Fouch is the daughter of Rodney and Crystal Fouch. A senior, Alex has been involved in Rowan County choir since 8th grade. In her free time, Alex enjoys playing music and writing. She hopes to pursue a bachelor’s degree in English after graduation. This is her first production with RCSHS and Alex hopes to make her late mother proud of her performance. Tonight, she will be playing Gertrude McFuzz.
Mayzie the Bird (JuLeah Edie)
JuLeah Edie is the daughter of Claudett and Andy Edie. She is a senior at Rowan County Senior High School and has been involved with the Theatre Department since her seventh grade year. This is JuLeah’s third production on the stage and seventh production working in the RCSHS costume department. JuLeah is also a member of the Rowan County Thespians, National Honor Society, Student Technology Leadership Program, Student Government Association, and the Kentucky Department of Education Commissioner’s Student Advisory Council. In their free time, JuLeah enjoys sewing, playing the guitar, reading, dancing, crafting, spending time with friends, and doing yoga with her mom. Tonight, she will be playing Mayzie LaBird.
Bird Girl (Reagan Hatton)
Reagan Hatton is the daughter of Michelle and Chris Hatton. She is a Junior at Rowan County Senior High School and has been involved with RCSHS theater since her 8th grade year. She is also involved in Speech, Choir and National Honors Society. She enjoys sewing and gardening. Tonight she will be a part of the flamboyant bird girl group.
Bird Girl (Natalie Freidhof)
Natalie Freidhof is the daughter of Scott and Marilyn Freidhof. She has been in the children’s chorus for 4 previous shows at RCSHS and helped with lighting for Little Women. She is a Sophomore at RCSHS and enjoys drawing, playing games with friends and being a member of the Speech Team, STLP, and Choir. Tonight, she will be portraying a member of The Birds.
Bird Girl (Casandra Hamm)
Cassie Hamm is the daughter of Geoffrey and Caroline Hamm. She is a junior at RCSHS. After high school, she plans to go to Morehead State to get her bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is a member of the RCSHS choir, the academic team, the color guard, and of the thespians. When she's not in the theater, she enjoys singing, playing the ukulele, painting, playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and making jewelry in her spare time. This will be her 3rd show with RCSHS. She has been a member of the chorus for “The Music Man” and "Little Women". She gives her deepest love to the cast and crew of this show. Tonight, she will be portraying one of the bird girls.
Bird Girl (Delaney Griggs)
Delaney Griggs is the daughter of Matt Griggs and Kelly Dickerson. She is a senior here at RCSHS. She has been in the plays for four consecutive years both fall and spring. She is in choir and enjoys singing, acting, writing, and voice acting in her free time. In college she plans on going into journalism with a minor in creative writing. Tonight, she will be portraying one of the bird girls.
Bird Girl (Skylar Forman)
Skylar Forman is the daughter of David and Teresa Forman. Skylar is a Junior at Rowan County Senior High School. She enjoys singing, drawing, theater, and playing with her cats. This is her second production with RCSHS and she has done many workshops with SSYT. Tonight, she will be portraying one of the bird girls.
Bird Girl (Haley Forman)
Haley Forman is the daughter of David and Teresa Forman. She is a Junior at Rowan County Senior High School. She enjoys theatre, singing, cooking, and reading. She has been in many shows with SSYT and this is her second time being in a production with RCSHS, the first being Little Women. Tonight, she will be portraying one of the bird girls.
Bird Girl (Jessica Jones)
Jessica Jones is the daughter of Joe and Jackie Jones. She is a freshman at Rowan County Senior High School. This will be her second production at RCSHS, Little Women being the first. Jessica is a member of the speech team, academic team, tennis team, STLP, and more! She has been a member of the Speech Team since the 6th grade. Jessica enjoys painting, reading, and being involved with all of her extracurricular activities. Tonight, Jessica will be portraying a Bird Girl.
Bird Girl (Sarah Brown)
Sarah Brown is the daughter of Phil and Cathy Brown. She is a Junior at RCSHS. She has been a part of the theater department since the 8th grade, and has been in their productions of “Legally Blonde”, “Mark Twain Again” and “Little Women”. She is part of Rowan County’s choir, Academic Team and National Honors Society. When she is not in school, she enjoys music, reading and spending time with her friends, family and dogs. Tonight she will be portraying a Bird Girl.
Sour Kangaroo (Caroline Carlisle )
Caroline Carlisle is the daughter of Laurie Couch and Greg Carlisle. She is a freshman at Rowan County Senior High School. Caroline enjoys singing, acting, dancing, and writing, and hopes to one day become an author and an actress. Caroline is on the RCSHS Speech Team and has taken choir since she was in middle school. Along with twelve years of dancing experience, she has also been in numerous Shooting Stars Youth Theater productions. Seussical will be her first show at RCSHS. Caroline wants to say thank you to all who have shown her love and support and gives her deepest respect and love to her cast and crew. Tonight, she will be portraying the Sour Kangaroo.
Young Kangaroo (Cason Hall)
Cason Hall is the son of Jason and Casey Hall. He is a 4th grade student at McBrayer Elementary. Cason enjoys showing horses, working on the farm, camping, playing games with friends, and spending time with family. This is the first show Cason has participated in. He is excited for this opportunity. Tonight, Cason will be portraying the character Young Kangaroo.
Thing/Hunch (Piper Carlisle )
Piper Carlisle is the middle child of Laurie Couch and Greg Carlisl. She has been in dance since she was two and she has been in theatre since she was three with Shooting Stars Youth Theatre. She loves interior design, the beauty industry, and loves hanging out with her friends and family. Piper is also in the Rowan County gifted and talented program. This is her first production with the RCSHS Thespians. She will be portraying a Thing and a Hunch.
Thing/Hunch (Lila Carlisle )
Lila Carlisle is the youngest child of Laurie Couch and Greg Carlisle. She has been training in dance since she was 2, and she has been acting since she was 3. She has previously been accepted in the McBrayer Elementary Academic Team and she has been in the Gifted and Talented Program since she started 4th grade. She is dancing on a recently recovered broken bone. This is a very special production for her because this is her first time participating in a RCSHS Thespians' spring musical. Tonight, she will be portraying the role of a Thing and a Hunch.
Thing/Hunch (Emma Blackledge )
Emma Blackledge is the daughter of Cyndy and JT Blackledge. She is a 5th grader at McBrayer Elementary. This is her first show with the RCSHS Thespians. Emma has participated in MSU Shooting Stars Theater for the past 8 summers. Emma enjoys dancing, gymnastics, horseback riding, being with friends, acting and traveling with family. Tonight, she will be portraying a Thing and a Hunch.
Thing/Hunch (Eliza McGillicuddy)
Eliza McGillicuddy is the daughter of Ryan and Jiyeon McGillicuddy. She is currently a 6th Grader at RCMS. This will be Eliza’s 4th show with the RCSHS Thespians. She was previously in The Sound of Music, The Music Man, and Little Women. She is also on the RCMS Volleyball and Speech teams. She loves to bake, sing, dance, play basketball, draw, and swim. Tonight, she will be playing the role of a Thing and Hunch.
Mrs. Mayor (AJ Caskey)
AJ Caskey, an 8th Grader at Rowan County Middle School, is the daughter of Bobby Caskey, Courtney Music-Caskey, and Patrick Johnson. This is her second show with the Rowan County Thespians. AJ is a member of the RCMS speech team and enjoys cooking, listening to music, and playing video games. Tonight, she will be portraying Mrs. Mayor.
Mr. Mayor (Alexander Hamilton)
Alexander Hamilton is the son of Randy and Kathryn Hamilton and an 8th grader at RCMS. Alexander enjoys singing, acting, piano and soccer. This is his 6th performance with the RCSHS Theatre. He has been previously seen in The Wizard of Oz, The Sound of Music, The Music Man, Legally Blonde, A Christmas Carol and Little Women. He has also performed in MTG’s Assassins and Dining With The Dead, MSU’s Treasure Island and numerous LCT/Shooting Stars Youth Theater shows. Tonight, he will be portraying Mr. Mayor.
The Grinch (Jacob Holbrook)
Jacob is the son of John and Sara Holbrook. He is a Junior at Rowan County Senior High School and plans to get a Master in Fine Arts. He enjoys dancing, driving, acting and hanging out with friends. He has been in multiple productions including Cinderella and the Commedia players, Pinnochio and the Commedia players, The Wizard of Oz, Robin Hood and Little Women. This is his second production with Rowan County Thespians! Tonight Jacob will be The Grinch!
Who (Jasmin Johnson)
Jasmin Johnson, a sophomore at Rowan County Senior High School, she is the daughter of Amy and Stephen Johnson. She enjoys singing, cooking, traveling, going out with friends, tumbling, shooting, and spending time with family. Jasmin is a member of the softball team and has played for 7 years. She has been a part of the choir since her third grade year. This is her first performance with the RCSHS Thespians. Tonight she will be portraying a Who.
Who (Samantha McKenzie)
Samantha McKenzie is the daughter of Steven and Nicki McKenzie. She is a junior at RCSHS and this will be her second production with the RCSHS Thespians. She is a captain of the speech team and a member of SGA. Outside of theatre, she enjoys hanging out with her speech team, reading, singing, and playing guitar. Tonight, she will be portraying a Who.
Who (Charleigh Skaggs)
Charliegh is the daughter of Wendell and Nikki Skaggs. She is in 6th grade at RCMS. This is her first show at RCSHS. Mara enjoys singing, drawing, and reading. Today she will be portraying one of The Whos.
Cindy Lou Who (Melody McClurg)
Melody McClurg is the daughter of Juanita and Jason McClurg. Melody is in 2nd grade at Mcbrayer Elementary. Melody enjoys legos, video games, basketball, music, singing and art. This is her first musical at RCSHS, she will be playing Cindy Lou Who.
Who (Mara Collins)
Mara Collins is the daughter of Juanita and Jason McClurg. She is in 5th grade at Mcbrayer Elementary. This is her first show at RCSHS. Mara enjoys art, singing, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. Today Mara will be portraying one of The Whos.
Who (Mackenzie Elliot)
Mackenzie Kidd is the daughter of Mark and Stephanie Kidd. She is a 7th grader at Rowan County Middle School. Mackenzie has performed with Shooting Stars Children’s Theater in “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” and this is the 4th RCSHS theater production she has been a part of. Mackenzie enjoys theater, horseback riding, singing, and drawing. Tonight, she will be portraying a Who.

Kynadee Elliott is the daughter of Jason Elliott and Bridgett Taulbee. She is an eighth grader at Rowan County Middle School. This is her first production with RCSHS. In her free time she enjoys listening to music, drawing, and playing her Nintendo switch.

Aubree Renn is the daughter of Linda Rodriguez and Mike Renn. Aubree is a 7th grader at RCMS and a member of the choir. Aubree loves singing, painting, acting, and spending time with friends. Todd Flutz is the son of Michael and Crystal Fultz. He is a 8th grader at Rowan County Middle School. He enjoys playing saxophone in the middle school band and the high school marching band. Who (Gwenna Crowder)
Gwenna Crowder is an 8th grader at RCMS. She loves to ride horses and is an avid reader. She loves to be in nature and care for animals. Gwenna has performed with Shooting Stars Children’s Theatre in “Matilda” and “The Never Ending Story.” Tonight, she is portraying a Who.
Who (Maleah Jean)
Maleah Jean is the daughter of Kayla Halsey and Marlone Jean. She is a third grader at Clearfield Elementary School. Maleah does both ballet and hip-hop at Nexus Pointe. Maleah loves traveling, swimming and painting. This is Maleah’s first performance with RCHS Thespians, tonight she will play the role of a Who.
Major Schmitz (Taylor Fultz)
Taylor Fultz is the son of Michael and Crystal Fultz. He is a senior at Rowan County Senior High School. He enjoys playing saxophone in the high school symphonic and marching band, singing in the choir, acting, and being a part of the school's Student Government Association. He plans to attend Morehead State University majoring in political science and minoring in music. Taylor has been a part of “Legally Blonde”, “Little Women”, and “A Christmas Carol” as well as the MTG “Dining with the Dead” and tale of the Rowan County Flood. Tonight, he will be portraying Major Schmitz.
Cadet (Ariah Andrews)
Ariah Andrews is a 5th grader at McBrayer Elementary School. This is her first production with RCSHS Thespians. Ariah loves drawing, singing, and helping others. She is a talented artist and energetic performer. She is excited to be playing the role of Cadet.
Cadet (Joanna Richards)
Joannah Richards, daughter of Jenerose Mencedez and Jack Richards. She is a 5th grader at Clearfield Elementary School. She is in gifted program. Joannah loves to dance. She is currently in Hiphop and Ballet lessons at Nexus Pointe. She loves to read on her free time and learn some songs with her guitar. She enjoys singing and dancing.. She enjoys visiting her family in Philippines. Joannah loves to make a joke and see people laugh. She loves to make friends. This is her first performance with RCHS Thespians. Nicholas Thompson is the son of Veronica Thompson. He is a 6th grader at RCMS. This is Nicholas’ 3rd production with RCSHS thespians. Nicholas plays the trombone in middle school band, is in 4-H shooting sports and enjoys going to concerts and playing basketball. Tonight he is playing a cadet.
Thing/Hunch (Olivia Stone)
Olivia Stone is the daughter of Melissa Stone. She is an 8th grader at Rowan County Middle School. This will be Olivia's 4th production at RCSHS. Olivia is also a flutist in the RCSHS Marching Band and a member of RCMS Speech Team. Olivia also enjoys playing the guitar, dancing and exploring outdoors, especially caves. She has been a Girl Scout since kindergarten. Other theater experiences include MSU's Treasure Island and many productions with Shooting Star Youth Theater since she was 5 years old. Megan Glover is the daughter of Richie Glover and Sandy Darling. She is an 8th grader at RCMS. Megan enjoys singing, acting, traveling, spending time with family and basketball. This is her 6th performance with RCSHS Theater with roles in The Wizard of Oz, The Sound of Music, The Music Man, Legally Blonde and A Christmas Carol. Lily Knott is the daughter of Bill and Suzy Knott. She is a 3rd grader at McBrayer Elementary School. This is Lily's first performance with RCSHS theater. She has performed with Shooting Stars Youth Theater over the past several summers. Lily loves theater, being outside, swimming, bike riding and she is a member of the Elementary Cross Country team. Wickersham (Lucas Holbrook)
Lucas Holbrook is the son of Sara and John Holbrook. Lucas is a 7th grader at RCMS. He is a member of the Speech team and Choir. In his spare time Lucas enjoys drawing, soccer, swimming, video games, and spending time with friends and family. Lucas has had previous roles in Romeo and Juliet, Robin Hood, and The Hobbit with SSYT. This is his first production with Rowan County Thespians. Tonight, he will be portraying a Whickersham.
Wickersham/Yertle the Turtle (Sterling Coleman)
Sterling Coleman is the son of Mark Coleman and Shanna Coleman. Sterling is in the 8th grade at RCMS. Sterling takes tap classes and is in choir. He enjoys singing, acting, dancing, speech, and soccer. Sterling has been doing musicals since he was in kindergarden and this is his 5th performance with the RCSHS Thespians. He has previously been seen in The Sound of Music, Music Man, Legally Blonde, a Christmas Carol and Little Women. Sterling also has been in many Shooting Stars Youth Theater performances. Tonight, he will be portraying Yertle the Turtle and a Wickersham.
Wickersham (Barrett Freidhof)
Barrett Freidhof, a 7th grader at RCMS, is the son of Scott and Marilyn Freidhof. He is active in Speech, Choir and previously on the Chess team. This is his first time performing in a show. In his spare time he likes to go hunting, play piano, chess and on-line games with friends. Tonight, he will be portraying a Wickersham.
Wickersham (Ava Carver)
Ava Carver is the child of Brandy and Thomas Carver. She is a 7th grader at RCMS. This is Ava’s 6th production with the RCSHS Thespians. She enjoys basketball, soccer, and academic team. Tonight she will be portraying a Wickersham.
Wickersham (Annamarie Schroeder)
Annamarie Schroeder is the daughter of Christopher and Kendra Schroeder. She is a seventh grader at Rowan County Middle School and this will be her second production at RCSHS. Outside of the theater, Annamarie participates in ballet, Jazz, contemporary, and soccer. She also loves spending time with her family and being outdoors. Tonight, she will be portraying a Wickersham.
Wickersham (Lana Carver)
Lana Carver is the daughter of Brandy and Thomas Carver. She is in the 4th grade at McBrayer Elementary and this is her third production at RCSHS. In her spare time, Lana enjoys traveling and watching movies with her family. Lana also plays basketball, softball, soccer, piano, and participates in the academic team. Wickersham (Scarlet Schroeder)
Scarlet is the daughter of Chris and Kendra Schroeder. She is in 3rd grade at Clearfield Elementary where she is also involved with STLP. This is her first production. Scarlet enjoys all kinds of dancing, plays soccer and loves unicorns. Tonight, she will be portraying a Wickersham
Wickersham (Adrianna Allen)
Adrianna Allen is the daughter of Toni Wheeler and Adrian Allen. She is an 8th grader at Rowan County Middle School. She enjoys cheering, singing, and acting. She has been seen in Music Man, Legally Blonde, Christmas Carol with RCSHS and Princess and the Pea with Shooting Stars. Tonight, she will be portraying a Wickersham.
Wickersham/Vlad Vladikoff (Cadyn Armstrong)
Cadyn is the daughter of Morgan Gilliland and Shawn Armstrong. She is a Freshman at RCSHS. This will be her first production with the high school. Cadyn is a member of SFTS. In her usually nonexistent spare time, she enjoys drawing, reading, and watching movies. Tonight, she will be portraying a Wickersham and Vlad Vladikoff.
Fish (Haylee Miko)
Haylee Miko is the daughter of Jaime and Christopher Miko. She is a 6th grader at RCMS. This is Haylee's third production with RCSHS, with previous roles in The Music Man and Legally Blonde. Haylee is also a member of the RCMS Speech Team and competes with Dynamite Twisters power tumbling team. Tonight, she will be portraying a Fish.
Fish (Canyon Byrd)
Canyon Byrd is the son of Roy Dale and Connie Byrd. He is a 3rd grader at McBrayer Elementary School. This is Canyon’s first appearance in a theatre production. From a very early age Canyon has loved to sing and dance! He can belt out quite a tune in the shower that can be heard all throughout the house! In his spare time Canyon enjoys spending time with family and friends. He is also a football, basketball, baseball, and soccer player. Tonight, he will be portraying a Fish.
Fish (Carly Byrd)
Carly Byrd is the daughter of Roy Dale and Connie Byrd. She is a 1st grader at McBrayer Elementary School. This is Carly’s first appearance in a theatre production and she hopes it’s not her last! In her spare time, Carly enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her beloved pets. She also enjoys playing basketball, softball, and soccer. Tonight, she will be portraying a Fish.
Fish (Ashleigh Estep)
Ashleigh Estep, granddaughter of Bill and Janice Bolen, is a 7th grade student at Rowan County Middle School. She makes her debut in the 2022 RCSHS’s production Seussical the Musical as a fish. She loves music and has been in choir for four years beginning in the Clearfield Elementary School’s third grade choir. She volunteers as a Junior Curator at the Rowan County Veterans Museum where she has appeared in several instructional and promotional videos for the museum. She is also a Junior member of the Corbie Ellington American Legion Auxiliary Unit 126. She is a 2019 Veterans Essay Contest winner, and she loves volunteering in support of veterans and in efforts to feed, clothe and comfort those less fortunate of our community. Tonight, she will be portraying a Fish.
Fish (Sofia Ortega)
Sofia Ortega is the daughter of Marco and Whitney Ortega. She is a 2nd grader at McBrayer Elementary School. While this is her debut performance in musical theatre, Sofia is an outstanding illustrator, painter, talented designer and budding gymnast. Sofia is a big sister, enjoys playing outside and making crafts for her friends.
Fish (Ainsley Rhodes)
Ainsley Rhodes is the child of Paul and Samantha Rhodes. She is a 3rd grader at Rodburn Elementary. This is Ainsley’s 1st production with the RCSHS Thespians. She enjoys being outside, spending time with friends and family, reading, playing with her 2 dogs, and playing sports. Tonight she will be portraying a Fish.
Fish (Kyndra Howard)
Kyndra Howard is the daughter of Scott and Angie Howard. She is an 8th grader at RCMS. This is the first show she has participated in. Kyndra is on the RCSHS girls golf team and is in choir. She enjoys going to concerts, playing golf, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. Tonight, she will be portraying a Fish.
Circus McGirkus (Brooklyn Vernatter)
Brooklyn is the daughter of Jack and Christina Vernatter. She is a freshman at RCSHS. Brooklyn participates in many activities including archery, bowling, and choir. Tonight, she will be portraying Circus McGirkus.
Circus McGirkus (Lucy Holland)
Lucy is the daughter of Justine and Wes Holland. She is a 6th grader at RCMS. Lucy participates in many activities including speech team, gifted and talented, student council, soccer, and band. Tonight, she will be portraying Circus McGirkus.
Circus McGirkus (Jaylah Lawhorn)
Jaylah Nicole Lawhorn is the daughter of Adam Lawhorn and Danielle Hobson. She is in the 6th grade at RCMS. Jaylah is a first year member of the RCMS Speech team and recently competed at the state KESDA competition. She also proudly participates in the Rowan County Gifted and Talented program and the Multicultural Achievers club. Though this is Jaylah’s first production with RCSHS, she does not intend for it to be her last. Tonight, she will be portraying Circus McGirkus.
Circus McGirkus (Elissa Brown)
Elissa is the daughter of Jason and Sonya Brown. She is currently a sophomore at RCSHS and has participated in the theater since seventh grade. She has a natural flare for dramatics and is always happy to participate in as many ways as she can. She is also a member of the choir and the bowling team.
Circus McGirkus/Elephant Bird (Mia Pecco)
Mia Jane Pecco is the daughter of Nicholas and Jennifer Pecco. She is a 2nd grader at McBrayer Elementary. Tonight Mia has her theatrical debut as the Elephant Bird and is a part of Circus McGirkus. From an early age, Mia has always been spunky and had a flair for the dramatic. She loves to perform and have all eyes on her! Whether it is dancing on the baseball field, singing at church, flipping at gymnastics, shouting out her favorite cheer, or conducting her favorite experiment, her energy is magnetic. Although, she may be tiny, she will certainly shine! Tonight, she will be portraying Elephant Bird and Circus McGirkus.
Circus McGirkus (Ellie Howard)
Ellie Howard is the daughter of Nathan and Mykie Howard. She is a first grader at McBrayer Elementary School. She enjoys playing with her stuffed animals, coloring, singing, and dancing. This is Ellie’s 1st time in an RCSHS production. Previously, she played baby Daisy in Morehead Theatre Guild’s “Little Women.” Tonight, she will be portraying Circus McGirkus.
Circus McGirkus (Rain Craft)
Rain Craft is the daughter of Randall Craft and Ashley Skeens. Rain is a 5th grader at McBrayer Elementary. This is her first time being a part of a theater production. Rain enjoys spending time with family and friends, dancing, cheerleading and tumbling. Tonight, she will be portraying Circus McGirkus.
Circus McGirkus (Ellery Kazmierski)
Ellery Kazmierski is the daughter of Leslie O’Berry and John Kazmierski. Ellery is a 3rd grader at McBrayer Elementary, and this is her first time being a part of a theater production with RCSHS. Ellery enjoys gymnastics, swimming, art, and riding horses. Tonight, she will be portraying Circus McGirkus.
Jungle of Nool (Keaton Watts)
Keaton Watts is the daughter of Tripp and Chelsea Watts. She attends McBrayer Elementary where she is in the 4th grade. This is Keaton’s first production with the RCSHS Theatre Department. Keaton is also a member of the McBrayer academic team and a member of the United States Pony Club. Tonight, Keaton can be found in the Jungle of Nool.
Jungle of Nool/Circus McGirkus (Abby Meritt)
Abby is one of the children of Frances and Aryn Meritt. She has participated in several shows with the theater but this will be her first high school performance on stage.
Jungle of Nool/Circus McGirkus (Audrey Bryant)
Audrey Bryant is the daughter of Melinda and David Bryant. She is a freshman at Rowan County Senior High School. This is her second production with the RCSHS Thespians. She enjoys writing, watching movies, being with her friends and family, and being a member of the Speech team. Tonight she will be a part of The Jungle of Nool and The Circus Mcgurkus. She was also a member of the costume shop for the first time.
Jungle of Nool (Jameson Cosgriff)
Jameson Cosgriff son of Charlene Cosgriff and Joseph Cosgriff. He is a 7th grader at Rowan County Middle School. He enjoys building with legos, stop motion, and biking. This is his 1st production with the RCSHS Thespians. Tonight, he will be portraying the Jungle of Nool.
Jungle of Nool (Brigham Cosgriff)
Brigham Cosgriff son of Charlene Cosgriff and Joseph Cosgriff. He is a 5th grader at McBrayer Elementary School. He enjoys reading, playing checkers and chess, and hiking. This is his 1st production with the RCSHS Thespians. Tonight, he will be portraying the Jungle of Nool.
Jungle of Nool (Lilah McNeal)
Lilah McNeal is the daughter of Anita McNeal and Ed McNeal. She is a 6th grader at Rowan County Middle School and this is her first involvement with a Rowan County Drama Department production. Lilah is a member of the RCMS Band and Cross Country team. When Lilah is not doing flips or dressing up and performing for her loved ones, she will be cooking, roller skating, or playing Animal Crossing with her friends and her sister Annabelle. Lilah enjoys learning about science, history, and animals. Lilah also enjoys caring for all of her pets and collecting Squishmallows. Tonight, she will be portraying the Jungle of Nool.
Jungle of Nool (Carolina Flannery)
Carolina Flannery is the daughter of Tena and Duane Flannery and has one brother, Daniel Flannery. She is a 1st grader at McBrayer Elementary. Suessical is her 1st performance and she is so excited to be a part of it. Carolina also enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing outdoors, crafting, playing sports, reading and gaming. Tonight, she will be portraying the Jungle of Nool.

Anslee Cooper is the daughter of Anastasia Fannin and Brian Cooper. She is a 5th grader at McBrayer Elementary. She enjoys playing with her animals, dancing, and singing. She loves spending time with her family and friends. She adores her older sister. This is her first production at RCSHS. Tonight, she will be portraying the Jungle of Nool.
Jungle of Nool (Emma Hale)
Emma is daughter of Arlenda May and Jeramy hale. She is in 7th grade at middle school. Emma enjoys choir. She has a brother and sister. Her brother's name is Trenton Hall and her sister's name is Summer Hale. She likes spending time with her family.
Lighting Technician (Emma Brown)
Emma is the daughter of Becky Johnson. She is in 10th grade at the high school. Emma enjoys band. This is their 2nd production with the RCSHS Thespians. Tonight, she will be working sounds and lighting.
Sound Technician (Caden Blair)
Caden Blair the son of Cass Blair and Melnaie Blair. He is a freshman at RCSHS. He enjoys swimming, band, and video games. This is his 2nd production with the RCSHS Thespians. Tonight, he will be working sounds and lighting.
Lighting and Sound Technician (Grace Davison)
Grace Davison is a sophomore at RCSHS and is the daughter of Scott and Becky Davison. This will be her second time working in the sound and lighting booth, but she has done the spotlight and been a foley artist in previous plays. Next year, Grace will be attending Craft Academy. Tonight, she will be working sounds and lighting.
Sound Technician (Caleb Allen)
Caleb Allen, the son of Tenessa and Patrick Allen, is an 8th grade student at RCMS. This is his first year being in the booth. Tonight, he will be working sounds and lightning.
Lighting Technician and Stage Art (Karena Nippress)
Karena Nippress is a Junior at Rowan County Senior High School. She moved here from Arizona and started attending this school in November. She is extremely talented in art, and has poured her time into making sure the musical’s props are perfect. Aside from painting and other creative hobbies, she has helped with the tech crew. Specifically with the lights, making sure that everything is perfect for the show.
Stage Crew (Yhanna Koger)
Yhanna Koger, daughter of Shantee Lamarr. Yhanna is a senior at Rowan County Senior High School. She has been in stage crew since her junior year, and has participated in 4 shows. She enjoys painting, hanging out with her friends, and making people smile!
Stage Crew (Bee Ramey)
Bee Ramey, child of Shane Ramey, Randa Ramey. Bee enjoys drawing and playing ukulele. They have been in many shows before with RCSHS. Tonight, they will be working on the stage crew.
Stage Crew/Lighting Technician (Owen Hurst)
Owen Hurst is the son of Donna and Terry Hurst. This is his sixth and final show with the RCSHS Thespians. He enjoys playing instruments and making art. He has worked on stage crew for four shows.
Stage Crew (Kadence Tholen)
Kadence is the daughter of Tyler and Jenna Tholen. Kadence loves gardening and has 9 chickens. This is her first show for the stage crew.
Stage Crew (Brooklyn Howard)
Brooklyn Howard is a sophomore at RCSHS, and is the child of Kristen Perry and Keith Howard. This is their second show and their first working as tech crew. They enjoy playing volleyball and marching with the band.
Costumer (Miana Ratcliff)
Miana is the daughter of Kelley and Jason Ratcliff. She is a sophomore at RCSHS and plans on attending Craft Academy next year. Miana enjoys drawing, hiking, clogging, sewing, and playing piano. This will be her second time costuming a show.
Director (Kayla Stafford-Elam)
Mrs. Stafford has been an active member of the theatre community for over 30 years. She has been directing high school plays and musicals since the beginning of her teaching career. When she is not in the theatre, she is enjoying a quiet life with her husband Jason and sons Gus and Mac on their family farm. She is so proud of her cast and crew and fellow directors that create a community of love and acceptance for everyone in the theatre.
Choir Director (Josh Hamilton)
Mr. Hamilton is the Director of Choirs at Rowan County Senior High School and Middle School. This is his ninth year teaching music in public schools. In addition to his work in Rowan County, Mr. Hamilton directs the choir at Providence Christian Church, Nicholasville, and sings professionally with the Louisville Chamber Choir. In his spare time, he enjoys trivia, basketball, and getting outside. Mr. Hamilton resides with his wife, stepson, and very soon to come daughter in Winchester, KY. Seussical is the eighth production that Mr. Hamilton has music directed at RCSHS and he couldn’t be more proud of this amazing group of students! Enjoy the show!
Costume Director (Genny Jenkins)
Mrs. Jenkins is the Gifted and Talented Coordinator/Instructor for Rowan County Schools. She has worked in various school and community theatre productions since 1998. She is the music director at First Christian Church, Morehead, and in her spare time enjoys teaching piano, knitting, reading, and baking. She is pleased and proud to be a part of this production and wishes all the Seussians a fabulous show run!
Assistant (Emily Highley)
Emily Highley is a Senior Elementary and Learning and Behavior Disorders Education student at Morehead State University from Owingsville, Kentucky. Emily is the Vice President of the Student Alumni Ambassadors at MSU. Emily’s love of theatre ignited in the Rowan County Theatre and she is very thankful for the opportunity to continue working with the Rowan County Thespians. She would like to congratulate the students and directors on all of their hard work and thank them for making this show so much fun!
Choreographer (Lauren Wildoner)
Lauren Wildoner (choreographer) is a Senior Theatre Education & Dance student at Morehead State University from Paducah, Kentucky. At MSU, Lauren is a member of the Dance Team, is President ΘΑΦ and a member of ΔΧΞ. She is also a dance teacher here in Morehead at NexusPointe Dance Studio. Seussical! is her second collaboration at RCSHS, following Little Women last fall. She would like to extend her appreciation to Mrs. Stafford and Mrs. Jenkins and congratulate the cast on their hard work and dedication that made this show a delight to be a part of.
