The Vision

Welcome to the future of musical theater! Prom Kings is not your typical LGBTQ+ story – it's a vibrant, laugh-out-loud musical comedy that breaks away from traditional coming-out narratives. Think "Mean Girls" meets "Dear Evan Hansen," but with a fresh, contemporary twist that celebrates love, identity, and the hilariously chaotic world of high school romance.

In a landscape where LGBTQ+ stories often focus on struggle and hardship, Prom Kings dares to be different. We're creating the kind of show we wished we had seen in our teens: a joyful, uplifting celebration that puts humor and heart center stage. Huston (Jae) Watson - Co-Creator/Director/Producer/Writer.

Successfully Wrote, directed and produced "My Husband" (2023).
Directed the acclaimed stage reading of "Julius: Harlem's Cesar" (2023).

Patrick Jennejahn - Co-Creator/Director/Producer/Writer.

Brings fresh perspective and innovative storytelling to musical theater.
Collaborative partnership with Huston since college.
