Crystal Adaway
Crystal Adaway is a playwright, producer, screenwriter, editor, artist, and former teacher. Her other plays include "The Wish," a winner of Dominion Stage’s 2023 Playwriting Competition, and "The Christmas Card," a short comedy produced for the 2019 DC Capital Fringe Festival. Her monologue, "Barbara," is published in "She Persisted: One Hundred Monologues by Women over Forty," and her first screenplay, "Bangers & Mash," was a finalist in the Virginia Film Office’s Screenwriting Competition. Producing credits include Jean Koppen’s "Unprotected" in 2022. Crystal is an alumna of the Kennedy Center Playwriting Intensive and a member of Honor Roll! and The Dramatists Guild. Catherine Tripp
Catherine Tripp has worked with companies around DC, notably, Source Theatre Festival and Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company. She frequently works with play development workshops and has helped bring new works to the stage. This is her fifth production with Pipeline Playwrights. She is also a proud company member of Rorschach Theatre. Catherine holds a BFA in Theatre from the University of Southern California and a MLitt in Theology, Imagination, and the Arts from the University of St. Andrews (Scotland). Other directing credits include "Brainpeople" by José Rivera, and "The Gallerist" by Fengar Gael, as well as being a part of the production team for a number of other productions. It has been her great privilege to work with these female playwrights directing plays about feminism, gay rights, sexual assault, and overwhelming grief. That these playwrights entrusted her to shepherd these stories to the stage is an amazing honor. Thank you, ladies.

Brittany Huffman
Stage Manager
Brittany is a stage manager and actor .Stage Manager Credits: Design for Murder, Fences, Ripcord, Love Letters, and Fox on the Fairway (Little Theatre of Alexandria); On-stage roles: As You Like It (NOVA Nightsky, Celia); A Christmas Carol (Little Theatre of Alexandria, Mary). She studied theatre at Seton Hill University in PA. 

Kayode Kendall
Videographer
Kayode Kendall is a videographer and filmmaker in the DC area. As video production manager for Dupont Studios, he coordinated and produced interviews with executives and public officials and produced live-stream events and other video content for the National Museum of Women in the Arts. In addition to short films, Mr. Kendall has also previously filmed plays for Nu Sass Productions. To Be Still is the third full-length play he has video produced for Pipeline Playwrights.

Lily Komarow
Costume, Hair and Make up Designer
Lily (she/her) is a DC area costume designer and is so excited to be creating with Pipeline for the first time! You may have recently seen her designs onstage in the Workhouse Arts Center production of The Drowsy Chaperone. She frequently works as a Design Assistant at Shakespeare Theatre Company and is extremely proud of her work there and other area theaters.  Education: James Madison University, School of Theatre and Dance.

Emily Pan 
Lighting and Sound Designer
Emily Pan is a freelance lighting and sound designer in the Washington DC area. She is a recent graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park and is excited to join Pipeline Playwrights through her 3rd production. Her work can be seen at empanxin.com

Benjamin Pallansch
Projections Designer
Benjamin Pallansch is a projections/motion graphics designer in the DMV who is delighted to be a part of the creative team for To Be Still. He recently was an associate projections designer for Rorschach Theatre’s Human Museum and is a alumni of Round House Theatre’s Teen Performance Company working on shows such as girlhood and TikTok. He also created projections for the comedy group the Roundlings. benkp.com

Stephen Strosnider
Scenic Designer and Props Designer
A proud alumnus of Shenandoah University, Stephen has enjoyed working professionally as an actor, designer, and director throughout the DMV. His many collaborations have included work with HBO, Netflix, The Kennedy Center, and Pipeline Playwrights. Locally, Stephen had enjoyed acting with the Glyndon Area Players, scenic designing for the Performing Arts Department at Carroll Community College, and directing operas wherever they're happening! Stephen currently serves as the Interim Executive Director of the Carroll County Arts Council.

Rachael Patrese
Stagehand
Raechel Patrese is a local playwright, director and producer. After studying theater at The National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts, she began writing and producing short plays as a co-creator of Too Much Damn (TMD) Theater, and has just completed her first, stage directorial debut at Anacostia Playhouse, The Me Nobody Knows. She would like to thank her grandmother for her unconditional love and support. She lives to make her grandmother proud.

Nicole Burton
Producer
Nicole Burton’s many plays include Wednesdays in Mississippi; Fred and Frieda; and Starman, Wish Me Luck, which have been produced in theaters and venues as diverse as federal prisons, homeless shelters, and the U.S. Capitol. She’s also the author of Swimming Up the Sun – A Memoir of Adoption and Adamson’s 1969, A Novel. Nicole is a member of Pipeline Playwrights and the Dramatists Guild.
