Godspell Cast
Alden Sturgeon (Jesus)Alden is currently a member of Pioneer High School's Dance Academy after his run last year in Theatre. He has performed in all of Theatre Academy's performances since coming to the school and also multiple outside of school productions such as The Tempest with the Creekside Theatre Festival and Beautiful Messy Ones at The Salt Lake Fringe Festival.
Isaiah Cook (John the Baptist/Judas)Isaiah would like to thank Brooke and Gabe for being the best people ever. He would also like to thank Raven Grant for being the best actor in the show. Isaiah thinks that the second coming already happened in the form of Che Guevara. Thank you.
Julia Wihongi (Anna Maria)Julia is thrilled to be a part of PHS's production of Godspell. She has won the National Youth Theatre Award for best actress in a musical and she was the first place winner for the National Association of Teachers of Singing in the lower high school Musical Theatre category. She has played Ti Moune (Once on This Island), Belle (Beauty and the Beast Jr), Vivienne (Legally Blonde Jr).

Katelyn Cannon (Lindsay)Katelyn is so excited to be a part of Godspell!! She loves the theatre and is so happy to be back up on the stage with PHSPA. She loves nature, vegan cooking and yoga.
Sofia Somsen (Telly)Sofia is so excited to play Telly in Godspell with such an amazing cast. Her favorite roles have included Gavroche in Les Miserables at BYU, and Terri in Catch me if You Can. She would like to thank her parents for making it possible to live her dreams.
Claire Quigley (George)Claire is so excited to be a part of Godspell for her freshman year at PHS. She can often be seen on the HCTO stage where she has performed in some her favorite shows: Alice in Wonderland, Singing in the Rain, A Christmas Carol, and many more. When she’s not performing Claire can be found listening to the Harry Potter soundtrack and eating sushi.
Berlyn Johns (Morgan)Berlyn is thrilled to be performing in Godspell. This is her second year at PHS and second musical with them. She’d like to thank the cast for providing her with an amazing support group and her directors for an incredible opportunity.

Brynna Johnson (Nick)Brynna is so excited to be in her first musical. Brynna is a singer in Pioneer’s Music Academy and enjoys playing guitar in her free time.
Kat Balanzategui (Ensemble)Kat is just so stoked, y'all! Godspell is her first musical and she has had so much fun being a part of it. Kathleen also enjoys pizza and opera (especially together).
Nikka Balanzategui (Ensemble)Nikka has been on the stage since she was 6 and loves theatre. She is so excited to be in Godspell!
Sienna Cullimore (Ensemble)Sienna loves performing and is on stage any chance she can get. Her favorite role to date has been Ophelia in Hamlet. She also enjoys being behind the scenes and working with the technical elements of theatre.
Emi Dunn (Ensemble)Emi is so excited to be part of Godspell as her very first musical. She would like to especially thank the people who have worked so hard to make this show as amazing as it is, including Brooke Grant and Gabe Spencer for incredible teaching and direction, her fellow actors, her supportive family, and especially Raven Grant for providing love and inspiration in everything in her life.
Miles Gourley (Ensemble)Miles is a Junior at Pioneer High school. He absolutely loves theater, singing, acting, and dancing. He’s also obsessed with sloths, chocolate croissants, and anything kind-hearted. He also wants to thank the director Gabe Spencer, Brooke Grant, the choreographers Monique and Sarah, the music director Shauna, and everyone who makes the world a better place. Love and joy to all!
Daphne Holman (Ensemble/Production Assistant)Daphne has been raised in a theatre loving home. She loves Shakespeare and Musical theatre thanks to her parents. This is her first time working on stage as well as behind the stage and has loved it.
Gabby Hughes (Ensemble)Gabby is beyond excited to be in Godspell! Even though she is in the Music Academy, she adores acting and is pursuing a career in it. Her passions are, music, theatre and binging ‘That 70’s Show’.
Kammie Thompson (Ensemble/Production Assistant)This is Kammie's 3rd year and 7th show with Pioneer, and she has loved every minute of it! Favorite prior roles include: Sylvia and Miep Gies. Being in the Musical Theater Academy program at PHS has given her opportunities in Music, Dance and Drama that she wouldn't have gotten anywhere else. Kammie would like to thank her family and friends for encouraging her to always be the best performer she can be.
