Tyler GleasonTyler is the current Theater Teacher of the PVHS Theater Program. Tyler a recent Fort Lewis College Graduate has recently directed Finding Nemo Jr, Dirt and Appropriate Audience Behavior. Tyler is super excited for you to see this production. You may have also seen Tyler in Two Room (Fort Lewis College), All Shook Up (Sandstone Productions), Shrek the Musical (Fort Lewis College). "Don't Be a Star be a Galaxy"

Technical Director
Danica R. MillerDanica is currently the theater manager at PVHS. She has worked on numerous productions here at PV, often serving as lighting and set designer, as well as technical director. Some of the shows she's most proud of from PV are "A Trip to the Moon" (2024) and "Help Desk" (2022). Danica has also worked on several shows at the Farmington Civic Center, most recently as the lighting designer for "Young Frankenstein" (2024) and "Rock of Ages" (2024). Danica is an NMSU alumni, where she graduated with a BA of Theater Arts in 2020. At the Region 6 KCACTF, she was awarded first place in Sound Design Excellence for her work on The Wolves (2019), produced by NMSU's theater program. She's looking forward to the rest of this year's productions at PV and would like to offer a special thanks to Artemis Stinson, Nancy Miller, Eric Miller, and James Padilla, for their continuous support throughout her endeavors.
Stage Manager
Cassidy TsinajineCassidy is overjoyed to be stage managing “The Yellow Boat” for PVHS. Cassidy has been involved with every major school play since joining theatre her freshman year. She has the great privilege of leading PV’s drama club as the President and considered this as a fantastic way to start her final year at Piedra Vista High School. Cassidy would like to thank her family and friends for always supporting her. She wishes to give a special thank you to Mr. Tyler Gleason and Danica Miller for fueling her talent and always being there to teach her the art of theatre.

Miguel EstradaMiguel is excited to be apart of the stage management team for The Yellow Boat. Miguel as seen in PVHS Production of A Trip to the Moon, and Finding Nemo Jr. You can also catch Miguel in Goodbye for Now at San Juan College. Miguel would like to thank Mr. Gleason for inspiring him to act and stage manage.

Max MackieMaximillian Mackie: Max got his love for theater from his grandfather who is an actor and director. He has been very involved with PVHS theater and has done many different technical jobs while here. He's very excited to be able to work on The Yellow Boat at Turano-Chrisman Performing Arts Theater. In his free time Max likes to go see any shows he can around Farmington, New Mexico, especially to support his high school community. He'd like to thank his grandpa for passing on the love of performing and visual arts.

Alyssa Gomez-FerraezAlyssa Gomez-Ferraez is extremely excited to be apart of tech for the yellow boat play, that Deidra vista is going to take to state.
She was seen last in finding Nemo jr. where she played the scuba mask dancer, a fish parent, and the vacationer. Before and after she was also in five minute spotlight with her class her sophomore year of high school.So now Alyssa is super excited and grateful to be apart of this amazing production and get to work along side assistant costumes Bella.

Isabella BurnhamIsabella Burnham is excited to be the understudy for doctor 4 and is also excited to be costume assistant in Yellow Boat. Isabella Burnahm was last seen in Finding Nemo Jr. Isabella is so excited to go to her first state show.
Makeup & Hair
Darian DescheenyDarian Is very excited to be apart of our state show The Yellow boat, and is very exited to perform this story on the stage. Darian was last seen in Heather McGaughey Teen Voices' production of Rock of Ages and Four Corners Musical Theatre Company production of The Wizard Of Oz at Farmington Civic Center. Darian loves supporting her theater, by volunteering to help at many different events. Although she has only been apart of our theater troupe for 3 years, she found a passion for performing for others.

Cheyenne Stanley Charlie is very excited to be helping with make up for The Yellow Boat at Piedra Vista High School. He loves being an 11th grader at PVHS. When he's not in school Charlie enjoys playing video games and his favorite game is overwatch. And after school he's in esports. He wants to thank his Mom and Dad for getting him a car!

Playwright
David SaarDavid Saar is the founder and artistic director of Childsplay in Tempe, Ariz. He has directed and taught for Childsplay since the company was formed in 1977. Among the many productions he has directed for Childsplay, favorites include Still Life with Iris, A Year with Frog and Toad, Pero or the Mystery of the Night, Afternoon of the Elves, Cyrano and, always, the show he is currently working on. Saar also directed The Origins of Happiness in Latin for Arizona Theatre Company, Charlotte's Web, The Yellow Boat and Tomas and the Library Lady for Seattle Children's Theatre, and The BFG for the Chicago Theatre for Young Audiences. In 1989 he received the Governor's Arts Award for his contributions to the arts in Arizona, in 1991 he was the recipient of the national Winifred Ward Dare to Dream Fellowship, and in 1993 he received the Phoenix Futures Forum's Dream Weavers Vision Award. In 2002, he received the first Notable Achievement Award from the Herberger College of Fine Arts at Arizona State University. In March 2007, he was awarded the prestigious Thomas DeGaetani Award from the United States Institute for Theatre Technology (USITT). In 2009, he was recognized for outstanding contributions to theatre in Arizona by the National Society of Arts and Letters, and in August 2010, he received the prestigious Medallion Award from the Children's Theatre Foundation to honor artistic excellence and Childsplay's national influence during its 33-year history.
