Azona Williams (Eurydice)
Azona is a theatre major at Calhoun Community College. Some past shows of hers include Rabbit Hole (Becca), Ruined (Mama), Rent (Joann) and Dreamgirls (Deena). One thing she is proud of doing is performing on the Kennedy Center Stage for KCACTF. In her down time, she enjoys spending time in nature and re-watching her favorite movies.
Eli Brown (Orpheus)
Eli is excited to be participating in their first show with OSC. Eli is a Theatre/English Education major who currently is attending Calhoun Community College. Eli has performed in Urinetown: The Musical (Hot Blades Harry), Beauty and the Beast (Ensemble), Tick…Tick…Boom! (Ensemble), Sweeney Todd (Fogg/Ensemble), and Secret in the Wings (Composer/Companion). Eli is a multi-instrumentalist who plays Bass for Calhoun’s Showband. Eli enjoys playing bass at local shows and lounging on the couch with their two cats, Boots and Ophelia. Phil Parker (Father)
Phil has appeared in over 100 stage and film productions in the last 29 years. Some roles you may remember him from include: Ebenezer Scrooge in “HUMBUG!”, Riff Raff in “The Rocky Horror Show”, Patsy in “Spamalot”, Horace Vandergelder in “Hello Dolly”, and The Actor in “The Woman in Black”. He recently wrapped his role in the upcoming film sequel, “Dark Entities: The Re-Awakening", and he would like to thank Honey, Marcus, Gadge, Ben, and the entire cast, crew, and OSC family for allowing him to be here for this performance. He sends his traditional nod to B&B, and love to Kim, Will, & Gus. Enjoy the show!
Abby Shelton-Malhotra (The Nasty Interesting Man)
Shells is a director, actor, teacher, and costume designer. A Theatre for Youth graduate of Samford University, her favorite project to date was directing Eurydice at Samford, and she is so excited to be revisiting her favorite show again! Most recently Shells played Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream with Bank Street Players. Outside of the theatre, Shells enjoys great food, fun friends, and snuggly animals. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Joey Smith (The Child)
Joey has always been involved in theatre, onstage and off. His actor credits include Gavroche in IMP’s Les Misérables, Michael Banks in IMP’s Mary Poppins, and Spongebob in Lee High School’s Spongebob Squarepants: The Broadway Musical. His most recent theatre endeavors have happened offstage, playing Keyboards, Accordion, Guitar, and Ukulele for shows like Calhoun Cabaret, Outlet Stage Company’s Songs for a New World and The Last Five Years, IMP’s Beauty and the Beast, and IMP’s Spongebob Squarepants: The Broadway Musical. Aubrey DeHoop (Big Stone)
Aubrey is an Animation major at Calhoun who spends their free time in the theatre in front and behind the curtain. They are so unbelievably ecstatic to preform in their favorite play of all time especially in their dream role! You might have previously seen them perform in Calhoun’s Sweeney Todd (Ensemble) or at Huntsville High, in notable performances such as Jonas Fogg in Sweeney Todd and the Narrator in Echoes of Ragnarok. Aubrey would love to thank Outlet Stage Company for letting them into this family full of incredibly talented human beings.
Jamar Echols (Loud Stone)
Jamar is downright ECSTATIC to be playing the Loud Stone. He has worked with Bank Street Players, Dreamweavers Children’s Theatre, Calhoun Theatre, and Athenian Players. Jamar is a Theatre Student at Calhoun studying directing. He recently had his director debut: 10 Ways to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse! He has done tech work for a plethora of shows such as Our Town, Rocket Men, and Seussical. His most memorable performance was in The Edinburgh Fringe Fest (2023). Featured performances include: American Idiot (Tunny), Rent (Joanne’s Dad), and Legally Blonde (Carlos). Sadly he does not like long walks on the beach; sorry (Instagram: @jayech_)
Naudia Horton (Little Stone)
Naudia is a new actress making her acting debut in this show! She is excited and honored to be a part of this cast! She would like to thank Outlet Stage Company for giving her the opportunity to portray her first role. Offstage, she is also an artist, having had many of her works presented professionally.
