The Wedding Singer: The Musical Comedy Cast

Kyle Johnson (Robbie Hart)
Hart Kyle has been a part of Ole Olsen since 2010, starting in Kurt Schindler’s Cole Porter shows, A Few Good Men, 1776, Apartment 3A. and many more. Kyle is very excited to be in this show and bring Robbie Hart to the stage that has been a part of his life for many years.
Kalika Redmon (Julia Sullivan)
Kalika is so excited to return to the Ole Olsen stage as Julia in The Wedding Singer. She is an actress, comedian, writer and owner of an online fashion boutique, Kalika’s Cultwear. Kalika studied at Second City Training Center in Chicago and performs stand-up. She has appeared in numerous independent films and media productions.
Chris Rooker (Sammy)
Chris was born in Michigan, a long time ago. He moved to Peru, IN via California fifteen years ago. He started Rooker Enterprises, Inc. ten years ago, which has evolved into a custom cabinet and countertop shop for commercial and residential clients. That takes up most of his time! In his minimal free time, he has been training for his Private Pilot Certification which he will hopefully have completed by the time you may read this. This is Chris’s first time on stage!
Cage DeBois (George)
Cage is excited to play the part of George, the flamboyant keyboardist (and tambourine player) of Simply Wed. Cage has been involved in theatre since middle school and has performed in Ole Olsen shows such as “Little Women”, “Scrooged Up!”, and “The End”.
Kim Bickel (Holly)
Kim is delighted to make her Ole Olsen debut. Off stage, Kim can be found working out in her basement, making goofy videos for IG stories, or traveling with Mr. Bickel. If none of those things are going on, you might find her shouting incorrect answers at the TV while watching Jeopardy!
Billi Jean Garber (Rosie)
Billi Jean has resided in Peru for the last 26 years. She has been an avid supporter of the community and sees the best in the small town she lives in. Her upbeat personality and love for music and dancing inspired her to take the leap and join the cast of The Wedding Singer The Musical.
Hannah Olsen (Linda)
Hannah grew up in Peru, IN surrounded by a talented and musical family. With the influence of her father, Mark Olson. She started performing in Ole Olsen productions in high school. After high school, she got her Bachelor’s Degree in vocal and general music education, then taught/directed heavily competitive show choirs and choirs at Anderson High School. Hannah’s main goal since moving back home has been to be more involved in the arts and music. Though she is no longer teaching, her passion continues to influence every decision she makes. It’s been nearly a decade since she last performed in an Ole production and she is super excited to be back in this hometown stage. In her free time, she focuses on training for the Indy Mini Marathon as well as loving on her French Bulldogs named Boris and Betty as well as her many cats; Schubert, Norma, Darla, and Bill.
Kilynn Wallace (Linda)
Kilynn is ecstatic to be in this show! This is her 3rd show this season with “Scrooged Up!” and “Little Women.” She has also been in other Ole Shows such as “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers”, “Terms of Endearment” and kids theater workshops. She is also involved in Maconaquah Theater performing in “Hello Dolly”, Suessical the Musical”, “Grease”, and several others.
Gloria North (Angie)
Gloria has been with Ole Olsen for several years and currently sits on the board as Secretary. She has been in several plays here at Ole and has also graced the big screen in the movie All Saints as an extra in a church scene. For The Wedding Singer, she will be playing Angie and trying not to trip on her two left feet!
Stephanie Stoner (Glenn)
Stephanie recently moved to Peru with her husband and joined the Ole Olsen Board of Directors as the chair of Hospitality. She has been involved with dance, music, and the theater for as long as she can remember. Her favorite role was Nellie Forbush in South Pacific. She is looking forward to being involved with the Peru cast and crew and to many new adventures. Stephanie and her husband enjoy camping and kayaking in their spare time, and spending time with friends and family.
Chris Cox (Ensemble)
Chris is making her debut at Ole Olsen Memorial Theatre with this performance. She recently moved to the area and has spent the last two years renovating her cottage on Nyona Lake. She is happy to be a part of this wonderful production. She has enjoyed getting to meet the very talented people in this cast and crew. She hopes to continue her involvement with this amazing theatre.
Ella Townsend (Ensemble)
Ella is a sophomore at Maconaquah High School. This is her third show this season at Ole Olsen. She played Amy in “Little Women”, and Mable in “Scrooged Up!”. This may be her third show at Ole, however, she has been involved in theater since 2012. Ella has been an Indiana Thespian since her freshman year, and she is so excited to be back on the Ole stage, and this time for a different approach as an ensemble member!
Doug Working (Ensemble)
Doug started with Ole in the late 90’s. A few roles he’s had were Ernie “Rumors”, Pontius Pilate “Messiah”, Caesar Rodney “1776”, Greg, the blind guy “Bleacher Bums”, Clarence Dollover “The Understudy”, Mr. Sanders “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers”, Nazi “Diary of Anne Frank”, Toby Schroeder “Community Theatre”, Dr. Rachet “Terms of Endearment”, Tony “Apt 3A”, Father March “Little Women”. Doug says that theater “gets in your blood!” The Lights, the applause… it all becomes addicting. He encourages anyone who thinks they might like it to give it a go.
