Judy is a Raleigh playwright, director, and teaching artist, and has directed for the Raleigh Little Theatre, Forest Moon Theater, and NRACT. She is a member of the DGA and NCTC, where she served on the Board. Shinsei (rebirth) was a semi-finalist in the 2023 Bay Area Playwrights Festival. She thanks her mother and father for always encouraging her to read and to appreciate other cultures, and hopes this play will help give some voice back to civilians who suffered from the trauma of war.

"Bonnie has directed “Sordid Lives” and “Calendar Girls” (NRACT) and “Brigadoon” (Cary Players). Additionally, she directed “Paws,” which won 2nd place at the 2020 Zombiepalooza Film Festival, and the play, “I Am Santa,” for which she won Best Director at the New Jersey Theatre Alliance’s 2023 Stages Festival. As an actress, she’s appeared in “The Secret Garden” (Theatre Raleigh) and “Always a Bridesmaid” (Theatre in the Park) among other shows. On the big and small screens, she played Midshipman Neufeld opposite Harrison Ford in “Patriot Games” and had a recurring role on NBC’s “Homicide: Life of the Street.”
