George (Gil Faison)
Gil Faison is a 1996 North Carolina Central University Theatre graduate. He last performed at NCCU in a play he wrote and directed, Eagle Pride. He reprises his role as George in The House Of George which premiered at NCCU in 2002. His other theatrical credits include a London UK production of Pentecost (Cockpit Theatre/Burning Coal Theatre). He has also appeared in numerous Triangle productions: Count (PlayMakers); Master Harold...and the boys (Mortall Coile Theatre); A Lesson Before Dying, Black Nativity (Justice Theater Project); Dreamgirls (Theatre Raleigh); Romeo and Juliet, The Prisoner’s Dilemma, Ruined (Burning Coal Theatre); The Miraculous and The Mundane, Caleb Calypso and The Midnight Marauders (Manbites Dog Theatre); Othello, Jitney (Deep Dish Theater).
Thin (Chase Rivers)
A Philadelphia native, Chase is a NCCU Theatre alum. He is thrilled to be in this production of The House of George. His favorite regional credits include Crown in Porgy and Bess, Bobby in Memphis, Audrey 2 in Little shop of Horrors, Harpo in The Color Purple, Duke Frederick in As You Like It, and The Devil in Ti-Jean and His Brothers. He is thankful for his friends and family -they are his biggest supporters a guy can ask for!
Daryl (Foye Thornton)
Foye D Thornton III, a Durham Native, is a senior at North Carolina Central University with a concentration in performance. Foye has performed as Leland in Blues For an Alabama Sky; John in Trouble in Mind; as a Student in Blood at the Root (a National Black Theatre Festival selection). Foye is a Social Events Intern at Billion Dollar Baby Entertainment Record Label under Grammy nominated rapper “Dababy.” He is signed to KU Talent agency in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Lem (Elijah Spencer)
Elijah, from Rocky Mount, NC, is a Senior Theatre Major concentrating in Performance. His NCCU stage credits include DJ Proof in The Right, Right Now Show; Jimmy Earl in Dreamgirls; and Joey in Sister Act. Elijah is a member of the African American Male Initiative (AAMI) and known on campus for his as DJ ICEE.
Boots (Jaylan Ivery)
a California native, is a junior Theatre major at North Carolina Central University. He started his acting career in high school with a performance in the production, Pirates of Penzance. Since that time, Jaylan has had roles in productions such as The Wizard of Oz and All Shook Up.
Patron/Gunman (Trenton Brown)
Trenton is a Senior from Durham, NC double majoring in Theatre and Business. Trenton is honored to be making his NCCU stage debut. He plans to open a Education Theatre Center for Youth.
Reverend (Taufiki Lee)
Always giving glory and thanks to God, Taufiki has worked with various local theater companies to include JTP, TYTTA, Agape Theater, MOJOAA, WTF and Li V Mahob. His most recent accomplishment was a debut with the NCCU theater department’s production of Dream Girls where he played as the MC. A very special shout out to Dr. Asabi and Dr. Bodie for giving him an opportunity to work with such talented NCCU students and alumni. You can see more of his work in his next production where he will play Mr. Velasco in Neil Simon’s Barefoot in the Park in Pittsboro NC. He especially thanks Michele his wife of 24 years who is affectionately referred to as his number one priority.

Hailing from Fayetteville, NC, Chris is a NCCU Graduate with a B.A in Mass Communication and has great aspirations to give back to his community while performing around the country. He is grateful for the support of his family and friends.
Patron 3 (Shahim Faircloth)
Shahim is a freshman Theatre major from Goldsboro, NC. He is making a proud debut on NCCU's stage in The House of George. He is excited to be a part of such an outstanding cast.
