Oluwaseyifunmi Sunmola (BANETTA)
Oluwaseyifunmi Sunmola (BANEATTA MABRY) is from Charlotte, North Carolina, and is a Senior at NCCU majoring in Theatre with a concentration in Performance. She recently played Louise from On Strivers Row (2023) and Performer in NCCU’s 2023 production of Me Too Monologues.
Kyla Brown  (BANETTA)
Kyla Brown is from Greensboro, North Carolina, and is a Junior at NCCU majoring in Theatre with a concentration in Performance. She was recently in NCCU productions The Bus Stop as Mahogany (2022-23), On Strivers Row as Lily (2023), and played Sarah in Black Girl in Summer Surrounded By Butterflies by the Agape Theatre.
Khiya Hawthorne  (BEVERLY)
Khiya, from Livingston, NJ, is Senior Theatre major concentrating in Performance. She was last seen as Ruby Jackson in On Striver's Row; Beverly in The Bus Stop; in One Monkey Don't Stop No Show and the student directed production of Anger Management. Khiya is grateful for the support of her mother and is excited about her future endeavors.
Jada Sifford (BEVERLY)
Jada Bryana Sifford is from Charlotte, North Carolina and is a Freshman at North Carolina University majoring in Theatre with a concentration in The Arts. She was recently in three A.L Brown High School productions, Once On This Island as Ti Moune (2021-22), Peter & The Star Catcher as Black Stache (2022-23), and Into The Woods as The Witch (2022-23). Her awards and recognitions include Best Lead Actress in Once On This Island, Best Female Actress in Into The Woods for the Blumey Awards, Thespian of the Year and Best Group Actor Theatre Performance Nationwide at the Thespian Awards. I want to give a special thanks to my hard working director Mr. Correll. He gave me many opportunities and opened so many doors to me and prepared me for the real world. Thanks Mr. Correll!
Esaie Kasongo (REGINALD)
Esaie Kasongo is from Raleigh, North Carolina and is a Senior at NCCU majoring in Theatre with a concentration in Performance. He was recently Caleb in One Monkey Don’t Stop No Show by NCCU (2022).
Judah Harville (REGINALD)
Judah, from Johnston County, NC is a Sophomore Theatre major concentrating in Performance. He was last as Jeff/Kevin in The Bus Stop. He also performed in NCCU Theatre production of Kites.
Joyrdan Richardson (LA'TRICE)
Joyrdan Richardson, from Enfield, NC, is a Junior Theatre Major. She was last seen as Cobina in On Striver's Row and as Isabella in The Bus Stop.
Winter Payne (LA'TRICE)
Winter Payne is in the J.D. Clement Early College High School Program. This is her first production as La’Trice in Chicken and Biscuits (2023).
Kirstyn Marshall (SIMONE)
Kirstyn Marshall is a junior theatre major concentrating in performance. She was last seen in Long Time Since Yesterday & Dreamgirls. She thanks her family for always supporting her and gives thanks to God for making all things happen.
Simone McLamb (SIMONE)
Simone McLamb is from Atlanta, Georgia and is a Sophomore at North Carolina Central University majoring in Theatre with a concentration in Performance. She recently played Beulah in On Strivers Row by NCCU (2023), has been in Honors Theatre since age 13, and was inducted into The International Thespian Society in 2019. She would like to give Special Thanks to the cast, department, and my family for the unconditional love and support they give me within my time here at NCCU.
Shahim Faircloth (KENNY)
Shahim is a Junior Theatre major from Goldsboro, NC. He is last seen as Chuck in On Striver's Row; Sean in The Bus Stop. He was also seen in Ain't Misbehavin and The House of George. He is excited to be a part of such an outstanding cast.
Tyrone Andrews (KENNY)
Tyrone Andrews is from Rochester, New York, and is a Freshman at NCCU majoring in Theatre with a concentration in Performance. He was recently LeFou in Beauty and the Beast by Irondequait High School (2019-20). He would like to give Special thanks to God! and my support system (sisters, brothers, in-laws, cousins, friends and professors who believe in me).
JD Drezner (LOGAN)
Jonathan Drezner is from Durham, North Carolina and is a 2017 Graduate of UNCG and a friend of the NCCU Theatre program. He recently played Eddie Fenton in Trouble in Mind by the Agape Theatre Project (2020), and played Ensemble/Prisoner of War in A Need Fulfilled by NCCU & Never Stop Productions (2019). He would like to give special thanks to Arthur Reese for getting me involved with the NCCU Theatre, despite my not being a student.
Kalimah Williams (BRIANNA)
Kalimah Williams is from Salisbury, North Carolina, and is Senior at North Carolina Central University majoring in Theatre with a concentration in Performance. She played Angel in Natural by the Agape Theatre One Act Play Festival (2023), Mrs. Pace in On Strivers’ Row by NCCU (2023), Mrs. Deborah in The Bus Stop by NCCU (2022), and Mrs. Caldwell in One Monkey Don’t Stop No Show by NCCU (2022). Her awards and recognitions include Distinguished Performance by an Actor in The Bus Stop (2023) by KCACTF, Superior Playwright for Minstrel Matrimony (2023) by NADSA, and Excellence in Performance and Excellence in Leadership from NCCU’s 2023 Honors Convocation.
Samya Howard (BRIANNA)
Samya Howard is from Raleigh, North Carolina and is a Freshman at North Carolina Central University majoring in Theatre with a concentration in Performance. She recently played Adella in The Little Mermaid by Rolesville High School as a Junior.

Janae Myrie is from Durham, North Carolina and is a Senior at North Carolina Central University majoring in Theatre with a concentration in Performance and Technical Theatre. Kelyse Carpenter (CHURCH MEMBER/UNDERSTUDY FOR LA'TRICE)
Kelyse Carpenter is from Durham, North Carolina is a Junior at NCCU majoring in Theatre with a concentration in Performance. She was recently in Hillside High School’s productions of Matilda as Mrs. Wormwood (2022), Too Slow The Turtle as Rip (2023), State of Urgency as herself (2021, 2023), and Mufaro’s Beautiful Daughters (2022). Her awards and recognitions include Actress of the year, Star Actress of the Year, Best Actress, The Wendell Tabb Legendary Artist Award, Theatre Valedictorian, Vice President of Drama Club, Creative Artist Award for Writing, Most Promising Award, and Star Freshman. She would like to give a special thank you to Mr. Tabb and Ms. Agerston of Hillside Highs School for all of the theatrical and personal lessons they have given and instilled in me. Also, to my family that has never failed to show up for me or support me on my acting journey.
