Taliyah Hearn (NELL)
Taliyah, from Indianapolis, Indiana, is a Senior Performance Concentration Theatre Major. She was last seen as Thelma in Long Time Since Yesterday; Deena in Dreamgirls; and Ensemble Member in Best of Enemies. No stranger to the stage, Taliyah credits the Asante’s Children Theater Program for molding her talent as an young aspiring artist. This summer, Taliyah was honored to perform as an extra for the shows All the Queen's Men (Tyler Perry), Praise This, The Stenographer.
Trin Taylor (CHARLAINE)
Trin Taylor, a Baltimore native, is Junior Performance Concentration Theatre Major. She was recently seen as Babbs in Long Time Since Yesterday; Mozelle in One Monkey Don't Stop No Show; Mary Magdalene in the Justice Theater Project’s production of Black Nativity. Efrain Alvarado (ANDRE)
Efrain Alvarado, a native from Freeport, NY, is a Freshman Performance Concentration Theatre Major. He graduated from Charles E Jordan High School where he found his passion for the arts and graced the stage as Jimmy Ray Dobbs in Bright Star; Prince Topher in Cinderella; The Dentist in Little Shop of Horrors and more. He wants to give a special thanks to the Theatre program at NCCU for welcoming him with open arms. He plans to pursue his career in Musical Theatre. Enjoy the show!
Sarah Affiah (ARMELIA)
Sarah Jaye Affiah, from Durham, NC, started her acting career with as MotorMouth in Hairspray at Northern High School. She made her debut on NCCU’s stage in as Ensemble Member in Dreamgirls at the age of 16. Sarah is a Sophomore majoring in Mass Communication and minoring in Theatre.
Brianna Johnson (DANCER)
Brianna Johnson, from New York, is a Senior Theatre Performance Major. She was recently seen as Janeen in Long Time Since Yesterday & Ensemble Member in Dreamgirls. Brianna has performed in several Black Box productions. She recently won 2nd place in Oral Interpretation at NADSA 2022 Conference. Brianna plans to pursue film work after graduation.
