Mamma Mia! Creative / Crew

Music Director, Drama Director, Choreographer
Jodi Mealeyis the Director of Choirs at NRHS, where she teaches Concert Choir, Chorale (Treble Choir), Jazz Choir, and Show Choir. This is Mealey’s 26th year teaching music, theater, and dance (NY, CO, WI) and her 13th year in the District. She graduated with a Vocal Performance degree from Viterbo University in LaCrosse, and K12 Vocal and General Music certification from St. Mary's University. She also continues to take theater classes at UW-Madison during the summers. Mrs. Mealey has been involved with the NRHS musical productions since 2009, and took over as NRHS Drama Director in 2022. She has been nominated, and won, numerous Jerry Awards for her work with the musicals. In addition to teaching, Mealey also performed professionally for many years. She sang lead roles in operas and musicals, and even toured the Hawaiian Islands as a singer/dancer on a cruise ship. She was also a featured performer with the touring performance troupe, "Kids From Wisconsin," where she met her trumpeter husband, Matt, who teaches alongside her at the high school. Together, they have three amazing children (20, 19, & 17) who all sing and play the trumpet.

Lighting & Set Designer
Randy Pfeiferis excited to share his lighting expertise with New Richmond High School again. He has designed for the Zephyr Theater at Stillwater Theater in the Park for both "Mama Mia" and "School of Rock." He has also been the technical director for St. Croix Central Middle and High School, which includes shows: "Oliver," "All Shook Up," "Damn Yankees," "Wizard of Oz," "Cinderella," "Annie," "Elf," "Legally Blonde," and "Shrek." Pfeifer designed the lights for the NRHS '24 & '25 Show Choir, the NRHS plays "A Night of Laughter," & "The Witch's Princess" along with musicals, "Elf" and "Chicago: Teen Edition." His NRHS lighting designs have been nominated for Jerry Awards.

Costume Designer
Tiffany Moorehas been onstage and backstage for the last 40 years. She has been sewing with her grandmother, mother, and daughters her entire life. Moore has taught ASL for the past 23 years. She is currently teaching at both White Bear Lake High School and the University of St. Thomas. She has also designed costumes for the last 5 years at Mahtomedi High School. Moore designed the costumes for "Elf," "The Witch's Princess," "A Night of Laughter," and "Chicago: Teen Edition" in which she earned a Jerry Award nomination. She resides in New Richmond with her four children and husband. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors - gardening, hiking, or paddling.

Sound Production
Stephen Dahleis the choir director at New Richmond Middle School. Some of Mr. Dahle's favorite musicals to have played piano for are "Elf," "The Addams Family," "James and the Giant Peach," "Seussical the Musical," and "Legally Blonde." Mr. Dahle has enjoyed working alongside the amazing music faculty in NR and outstanding high school students to make this production top notch. He hopes you enjoy the show!

Guest Choreographer
Michael Stanekcurrently serves as Artistic
Director/Choreographer for Wisconsin Singers (UW-Madison)
and Choreographer for KIDS from Wisconsin (Wisconsin State
Fair). Some credits include: The Ride (Director, Richard
Humphrey, Drama Desk Nominee) 70, Girls, 70 (Director,
Kathleen Marshall, City Center Encores) Beauty and the Beast
(Walt Disney World). He is a proud member of the Actors’ Equity
Association and Associate Member of Stage Directors and

Scenic Painter
Krista Milleris excited to support a third NRHS production through scenic design and painting. Krista first discovered her love for set design in high school and college as a performing arts kid and is thrilled to be behind the scenes at NRHS. She has been a freelance artist for 26 years, specializing in large-scale painting, mural, and logo design. As a proud parent of a cast member, she's passionate about supporting young performers and helping foster a lifelong love of musical theater.

Stage Manager
Trenton Shaferis a senior this year who is elated to be a part of this year’s musical production of Mamma Mia. He has been a part of backstage crew for: “Ranked”, “The Con”, “Chicago: Teen Edition”, “The Witch’s Princess”, “ELF”, and “A Night of Laughter”. He is also a member of the New Richmond High School Band.

Assistant Stage Manager
Kasey Hoogheemis a sophomore and is super excited to be stage managing Mamma Mia! Her past experiences with theater includes stage managing for “A Night of Laughter” and playing her flute in the pit for “Elf- the Musical”. She is also in Marching Band, Powerlifting, and hopes to be in Wind Ensemble this Fall. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Lightboard Operator
Katie Mechelkeis a junior who is excited to be part of the production, Mamma Mia! Previous roles include: Chicago (Back Stage) and Elf (Lighting). She has also worked the lighting for the School Plays, Show Choir and more.

Props Master
Kennedy Hoogheem is a senior and excited to be part of her last musical, Mamma Mia. Her previous shows include: Chicago: Teen Edition (crew), The Witch's Princess (crew and Maiden), Elf (crew), When Bad Things Happen to Good Actors (Mom), and All the Ways the World will End But Not You (Meghan Tindy). She also plays the French Horn in Wind Ensemble, Sings Alto 1 in Concert Choir, is Color Guard Captain in the Marching Band, plays mellophone in pep band, and lifts on the NRHS Powerlifting team.

Props Master
Aubrey Bakeris a senior who is excited to help with Mamma Mia! Previous Roles include Elf (props manager), Wizard of Oz/Ted Talk (props manager). She also plays the violin in Orchestra and lifts with the NRHS Powerlifting team.

Annita Schoeneis a Senior this year and thrilled to help out with this iconic musical! She previously worked with the backstage crew on the musical, Ranked.

Ava Masloskiis a senior and is excited to be a part of their first production. She is also a part of the powerlifting team, and is planning to go to college for biochemistry and biomedical science.

Cass Stadleris a sophomore at NRHS, and is ecstatic to be a part of the production, Mamma Mia. This is her first time helping set up a musical for NRHS but she has been previously involved in other shows at the middle school. She is very involved at the high school (part of 19 extracurriculars) which include: Key Club, Flute in the Band (as well as Color Guard), Powerlifting, Track & Field, LOTUS, and Multicultural Club.

David Schwichtenbergis a senior who had been part of Elf, A Night of Laughter, The Witch's Princess, Chicago, and Ranked - a Musical. He is very excited to be a helping hand in another set of wonderful shows this year.

House Lights / Mics
Elli Kaufer is a freshman and is excited to be a part of the production. This is her first musical. She is a member of the Choir and the Powerlifting team.

Usher / Sales
Ethan Gefekeis a senior who is excited to help with the production of Mamma Mia! This is his first musical. He also performs percussion in Band, and is a member of the Powerlifting team.

Backstage Crew
Hayven Wallaceis a freshman who looks forward to being a part of the drama crew production! Previous crew roles include Snow White, Cinderella, and The Legend of Catastrophe Kate. She loves art and has been painting and drawing since she can remember.

Jax Frenchis a senior and is excited to be a part of the cew for this production!
Previous roles include: The Con (Backstage), Chicago Teen Edition (Backstage), The Witch's Princess (Backstage), Elf (Backstage), A Night of Laughter (backstage), All the Ways the World Will End, But Not You (Backstage). They are also in Art Club, Computer Club, and Honor Guard.

LeBree Whiteis a junior and is excited to be part of their first musical production. She is also in Band and Powerlifting.

Mics / Sales
Lesty Escalanteis a Senior and is excited to be a part of the production. Previous roles include: Narrator 2 (The Witch's Princess), Isa (Ranked), March Hare (Alice In Wonderland) and has been in Pit for Elf and Chicago! He's also the 1st violin in the Chamber String Quartet, and is planning on majoring in Secondary Orchestral Music Education.

Ushering / Sales
Melanie Rosariois a Junior and is excited to be a part of the production. This is her first musical! She is also a part of Orchestra, Student Council, Key Club, Multicultural Club, Science Olympiad, Track and Field, Powerlifting, STS Mentoring, NHS, PACT, and SPARK tutoring.

Set and Prop Construction
Hayden Birchhillis a Junior happy to help with the musical! He plays the bari-sax in Band and competes in Powerlifting. He currently has an internship at Midwest Machinery/John Deere, in which he is the only student who earned the coveted spot.
