Crazy for You Cast

Nathaniel Demuth is a senior at New Philadelphia High School. He has taken part in several shows including Once Upon a Mattress, Beauty and the Beast, Mary Poppins, Clue, and Singin' in the Rain. Offstage, he enjoys a wide array of hobbies such as disc golfing, art, music, chess, and many more. He also plays soccer and football. He would like to thank his family for supporting his scholastic, athletic, and theatrical endeavors.

Grace Maddux is a junior at New Philadelphia High School. She has been a part of multiple shows including Beauty and the Beast, Mary Poppins, HONK, A 1940's Radio Christmas Carol, Clue: The Musical, Dial "M" for Murder, Singin' in the Rain, and Radium Girls. She is a part of multiple choirs at NPHS, a part of the advanced guitar ensemble, and plays soccer at NPHS. Grace would like to thank her friends and family for supporting her throughout the musical and the rest of the cast for making the show so much fun.

Jacob is a senior at NPHS who does just about everything music. He has been in band for seven years where he plays Baritone Saxophone, he has been in the steel drum program for 6 where he plays electric bass, he joined choir his sophomore year and is now a member of Vox Mens Chorus as well as the Delphian Chorale. Last year he joined the spring musical and had an ensemble roll. Jacob plans to go to Kent State University and become a Music Education major.

Emma Demuth is a senior at New Philadelphia High School. She has been apart of a variety of shows that include Beauty and the Beast, Mary Poppins, and Singin’ in the Rain. She enjoys singing outside of the theater, along with playing piano and guitar. She also enjoys reading and crochet in her free time. She would like to thank her family and friends for their never-ending love and support as she has taken this journey throughout the years. Emma will certainly miss the stage once she graduates.

Brad Waugh is a Senior at NPHS. He is the Senior Class President and an Eagle Scout of Boy Scout Troop 5084. He is a member of NHS and the Tenor Section leader in the Delphian Chorale. He plays the guitar and spends his summers as a life guard at Seven Ranges Scout Reservation. In other words, he's every mother's dream. Some of his favorite past roles include: South Pacific, The Outsiders, Clue: The Musical, Dial M for Murder, Singin in the Rain, and Radium Girls. He still doesn't know what he wants to do after graduation and wishes people would stop asking him.

Colton Walker is a freshman at New Philadelphia High School. He has been in many theatrical shows including, Law and Disorder, Matilda Jr., Lion King Jr., and Radium Girls. He is very excited for this show and would like to thank his wonderful directors and parents for their support.

Scarling is a freshman in highschool, she has always been invested in the arts and has been hooked on theater since middle school. You may recognize her from the shows Matilda, and Radium Girls. Scarling loves using her past time to take care of her reptiles and work on artistic projects. She has nothing but positive emotions to be on stage and in this musical!

Luc Poirier is a freshman at New Philadelphia High School, which means he's still figuring out the difference between the auditorium and the bathroom. But don't let his youth fool you - he's a dedicated actor who loves being on stage. Ever since his role as Von Sochocky in Radium Girls, Luc has had a large interest in the performing arts. When he's not belting out tunes at the top of his lungs, you can find him perfecting his latest guitar riff or having an existential crisis. All jokes aside, Luc is an enthusiastic actor, musician, and creative artist who is sure to leave an impression on anyone who knows him. He would like to thank his family and friends for religiously supporting his artistic career.

Marilyn Stokey is a Senior at New Philadelphia High School and is the daughter of Steve and Gretchen Stokey. This is her first high school musical, but not her first appearance on stage. She has danced at Tuscarawas Dance Arts Center for sixteen years and has been apart of Nutcracker performances for over eleven years performing various roles, the most recent being the role of Dewdrop. Marilyn is the Student Council President and is apart of the Varsity Soccer, Basketball, and QT Dance Team. She is a member of the Delphian Chorale and she plays French Horn in the Concert Band. She would like to thank her siblings for proving that having mediocre talent should not stop you from trying out for musicals. She would also like to thank her parents for her sense of humor. After high school, Marilyn will be attending Miami University to pursue a degree in Emerging Technology in Business and Design. She wishes everyone the best of luck!

Abigail Prucha is a Junior at NPHS. They are very excited to be in this production of Crazy For You as Tess. They have also been in Clue(Ms. Peacock), A 1940's Radio Christmas Carol(Toots), Singin' in the Rain(Dora Bailey), and Radium Girls(Irene/Ms. Wiley). They are very involved in their school's music program and love to perform. They would like to thank their family and friends for always supporting them in what they do!

Bella is a sophomore at NPHS, she has performed many shows in school and at the Little Theater. Some of her previous productions include Honk Jr, Law and Disorder, The Greatest Christmas Pageant Ever, Junie B. Jones, Singin’ in the Rain, and most recently Radium Girls. Bella enjoys choir, reading, playing with her dog Finnley, and hanging out with friends. Bella is also a member of the QT Dance Team. She would like to thank her family and friends for their support and encouragement!

Jordi Kopp is a sophomore. He has been seen in Trumpet in the Land, The Nutcracker, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, A Night On Broadway, Honk! Jr., Mary Poppins Jr., The Little Mermaid, Dial M for Murder, Singing in the Rain, Footloose, and Radium Girls, among many others. Apart from acting, he likes to sing, play guitar, and hang out with his friends. He would like to thank all the friends and family who have helped him along the way.

Derek Shimek is a sophomore at New Philadelphia High School. He has had his fair share of acting experience over the years; starting as John Northbrook in Marry Poppins Jr., Greylag in Honk Jr., Dr. Finster M. Winkleheimer in Law and Disorder, as Thompson in Dial “M” for murder, Villian in Singin’ in the rain, and as Charlie Lee in Radium Girls. With this past experience, he is able to say that he is proud to be on stage with another strong cast. He would like to thank his parents for supporting him through his crazy antics, his friends for giving him many opportunities to have a laugh, his director and dance instructor for taking time out of their lives to expose students and the community to a proper, theatre experience, and, finally, his Pit Commander/Choir teacher for always pushing, and supporting him to do his best. He would also like to thank his audience for supporting this program; Enjoy the show!

Garin is a sophomore at NPHS. He is very excited to participate in his third ever show as Moose. Rest assured that while Moose is a pretty quiet guy, his physical humor is sure to get a laugh from viewers. Don’t get too close though, he kinda stinks…

Jonathan is a senior at New Philadelphia High School. He is an active member of the NPHS marching band, symphonic band, steel band, Vox men's choir, and Delphian Chorale. His record is brief: having only participated in Singin' In The Rain thus far. He loves to perform and share the arts with friends and enthusiastic newcomers. He would like to thank his family for devoting their time and finances to help him participate in these wonderful programs. Additionally, a special thanks to his best friend, Jacob Roman-Willey, for encouraging his pursuit of choir and involvement in the musicals.

Sydney is a sophomore and this is her 3rd show. She is a part of the QT dance team and has been in other school shows such as Radium Girls and Singin’ in the Rain. Sydney would like to thank her family for their support and her friends for making shows so much fun!

Helen Morris is a freshman at New Philadelphia High School. This is her first show. Offstage, Helen partakes in many activities such as dancing, music, and baking. She would like to thank her family for supporting her in all her activities.

Gabrielle Riesen is a senior at New Philadelphia High School. Although this is Gabby’s first show in high school, she has been seen on the NP stage previously in Mary Poppins, Beauty and the Beast, and Once Upon a Mattress. Gabby has also done shows at The Little Theater such as, Charlottes Webb and a Fairytale Christmas Carol. Offstage she can be found on the sidelines cheering for the Quakers, or hanging out with her friends and family. After graduation, Gabby plans to attend college and major in nursing to one day become a labor and delivery nurse. Gabby would like to thank her friends and family for all the love and support throughout her time at New Phila.

Brooke is a senior at New Philadelphia High School. She is a varsity football cheerleader on the game day squad as well. She is an editor in yearbook and also in the delphian chorale. In her free time, she loves to hangout with family and friends, go shopping, and working out at the gym. Brooke would like to thank her family for supporting her in everything she does.

Mackenna Armstrong is a sophomore at NPHS. She has been in several shows before, including Mary Poppins Jr, Honk Jr, Law and Disorder, Singin’ in the Rain, and Radium Girls. She likes to play tennis and piano, and she has been in 4-H for about ten years. She is excited for this show and would like to thank everyone who has supported her.

Addy VanArsdalen is a freshman at New Philadelphia high school. Crazy For You will be her 8th show, some of the shows she has been in include Matilda, Honk jr and A Fairy Tale Christmas Carol. Her hobbies include, reading, singing, and playing guitar. She also plays volleyball and swims. She would like to thank her friends and family for supporting her through her theater journey.

Eliza VanArsdalen is a junior at New Philadelphia High School. This the first show she has taken a part of in the high school. She enjoys hobbies offstage such as, painting, playing the guitar, and many others. She also is a part of the soccer team along with the swim team. She would like to thank her friends and family for encouraging her to try out for this show.

Kenzie Murphy is a freshman at New Philadelphia High School. This is the first show that Kenzie has participated in. In her free time Kenzie enjoys playing outside, reading, and spending time with family. Kenzie is also part of the New Philadelphia High School volleyball team. Kenzie would like to thank her friends and family for supporting her.

Katelynn Scott is a sophomore at NPHS. She has been apart of the Velveteen Rabbit, Shrek the Musical, Greatest Christmas Pageant ever, Mary Poppins Jr, Honk Jr, Law and Disorder, Dial M for murder, Singing in the rain, and Radium girls. She's involved with tennis and guitar at the school and would like to thank her friends for making this show so memorable for her.

Neka Washington is a freshman at New Philadelphia High School. She has partaken in one musical called Honk. Offstage, she enjoys a lot of hobbies such as music, art, tumbling and lots more. She would like to thank her parents and siblings for the encouragement she never knew she had and supporting her through her theatrical experience.

Ricardo Cruz is a sophomore at New Philadelphia High School. He has never been in any other musicals or plays. Crazy for You would be the first musical he has ever been in. Offstage he likes to take pictures for the New Philadelphia Delphian Yearbook. Some of his hobbies are dancing, singing, and drawing.

Offstage she enjoys spending time with her friends and cats. She is also a member of the girls tennis team. She would like to thank her friends and family for always supporting her.
