About Crazy for You

Crazy for You is a delightful romp through several Gershwin classics joined with the witty, fast-paced dialogue from Ken Ludwig. Bobby, a wannabe dancer (but current banker), has one dream: to dance onstage at the Zangler Theater. However, his mother, Lottie, and fiancee, Irene, have other ideas. He has one last chance to escape his engagement and prove to his mother that he's not a complete idiot by delivering paperwork to foreclose on a theater in Deadrock, Nevada. When Bobby arrives, he's struck by Cupid's arrow when he meets Polly Baker, postmistress and daughter of the owner of the (about-to-be-foreclosed) Gaiety Theater. Shenanigans ensue as Bobby tries to save the theater, win Polly's affection, and dance his way into the hearts of the community of Deadrock, Nevada.
