Stage Manager
Matthew GiancasproMatthew is a junior at New Milford High School and The Play That Goes Wrong: High School Edition is his fifth NMHS Theatre production. Matthew is a member of the Varsity Swim team and also the Junior Class treasurer. Matthew would like to thank Mr. Amenta, Mr. Zwart, Mr. McNulty, Mrs. Titus, Mr. Durr, and Mr. MacLaren for their incredible help, direction, creativity, and passion that helped make this show possible. Matthew would also like to thank Ava and Kate for being the world’s most awesome assistant stage managers!! He would like to thank and congratulate all of the members of the cast, crew, front of house, and the set building team for their hard work that has made this show possible. Finally, Matthew would like to thank his parents and family for their support! Enjoy the show!!!

Assistant Stage Manager
Ava DinhoAva is a senior at NMHS and is excited to be one of the assistant stage managers for this production of The Play That Goes Wrong: High School Edition. Her previous productions with NMHS Theatre include fly crew for Puffs, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and The Little Mermaid; and fly/run crew for Mamma Mia! and The Crucible. Ava is also a writer for the NMHS school newspaper, The Wave Review. Ava would like to thank Mr. Amenta, Mr. McNulty, and Mr. Zwart for their amazing leadership! She would also like to thank her fellow stage managers, Kate MacLaren and Matthew Giancaspro, along with the rest of NMHS Theatre’s cast and crew.

Assistant Stage Manager
Kate MacLarenKate, a junior, is one of the assistant stage managers for this fall’s production of The Play That Goes Wrong: High School Edition. This is Kate’s fourth production for NMHS Theatre. Previous shows include
The Little Mermaid (2024), The Crucible (2024), and Legally Blonde, The Musical (2025). She participates in the NMHS Chorus and is an active member of the NMHS Chorus Council. Kate is also a student teacher with NMHS Tiny Tides Preschool this school year. Kate would like to thank the cast and crew for their amazing work, along with Mr. Amenta, Mr. Zwart, and Mr. McNulty for their impeccable leadership, support, and help throughout the entire production of this show. She is incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make this show possible!

Sound Mixer
James BensemaJames is a senior and The Play That Goes Wrong: High School Edition, is his fourth show with NMHS Theatre. In Mamma Mia!, he was a member of the run crew and for The Little Mermaid and Legally Blonde: The Musical , he was part of the sound team. This year, he has had the privilege of creating the show shirt and also helped Lindsay Haleks create the “Crew” shirt for our actors playing stage crew in the show. In addition to NMHS Theatre, he has volunteered for the past two years for The Sondheim Awards as a mic tech and sound board assistant. Outside of theatre, he is the manager for the NMHS Girls Swim and Dive teams alongside Matthew Giancaspro and will be graduating early as of January 2026! James would like to thank Mr. Amenta and Mr. Zwart for their help throughout this production.

Sound Mixer
Sigge DahlSigge is a sophomore and this is his first show sound mixing for NMHS Theatre! He is very excited to be a part of the production this year. Sigge enjoys making video games and gets his experience with sound from creating, recording, and editing music and sound effects. He would like to thank his family for supporting him, as well as Ben Chapman and Anabella Barragan for giving him support and motivation with the play this year!

London CharlesLondon is a junior at NMHS and is ready to come back for his third show, The Play That Goes Wrong: High School Edition! London has been a part of two shows in his high school career. In freshman year, he participated in The Little Mermaid as a member of the run crew, and last spring, he worked on the show Legally Blonde: The Musical as a sound board operator. Although he has been a part of the past two musical seasons, this will be his first time working in the high school play! London enjoys playing in the NMHS Band and drawing for fun in his free time. London would like to thank Mr. Amenta and Mr. Zwart for putting him in a position where he can succeed in the NMHS Theatre program. He would also like to thank the stage managers Matthew Giancaspro, Kate MacLaren, and Ava Dinho as well as stage crew members Steven Allen, Vivian O’Niel, James, and Sigge Dahl for all of their hard work, dedication, and management they provided for this play.

Foley Sound Effects Artist
Maxwell RancourtMax, a junior, is excited to be doing a new role for NMHS Theatre. Max has been a member of the arts program at New Milford High School since freshman year, starting with NMHS Band shows Haunted, The Root Of All Evil, Dia De Los Muertos, The Cave and Slither, and last fall’s NMHS Theatre production of The Crucible. Max loves music and the arts and this past summer, joined The Connecticut Hurricanes Drum and Bugle Corps performing the show The Black Parade. Max would like to thank Mr. Amenta, Mr. Syzdek, and his parents for giving him the opportunity to do all of these things.

Anabella BarraganBella, a sophomore, is in her first year in tech at NMHS Theatre, although this is not her first show. Bella has done many shows with Brookfield Theatre, working the entire 2024 season and also on
A Flea In Her Ear. She has done work in the Spotlight Program at Brookfield Theatre where she worked on the shows Annie Jr. and Footloose. For all of these shows, Bella had done the programming of the lights. Bella has been volunteering at the Brookfield Theatre since the end of 7th grade. Outside of theater, Bella’s pastimes include pottery and drawing. She is very appreciative of her family and friends for all of their support and encouragement and would especially like to thank her mother for being her biggest supporter! Bella would also like to thank Mr. Amenta and Mr. Zwart for their efforts and dedication to theatre as a whole. She thanks them for making this show possible!

Ben ChapmanBen, a sophomore at New Milford High School, is participating in his third show with NMHS Theatre. He is an avid miniature painter and hobbyist in his free time. He joined the stage crew because he likes the fun challenges that putting together a production provides. He would like to thank Mr. Amenta for providing these amazing shows for us to be a part of!

Grace IsaacsGrace, a senior, is participating in her first show with NMHS Theatre! Grace is also a member of Wingman at NMHS and has created many Wingman monthly activities. She would like to thank Mr. Amenta and the entire stage crew for making the show possible and ensuring a fun and welcoming environment.

Hailey SmithHailey, a junior, is participating in her third show with NMHS Theatre! She was a member of the run crew for The Crucible (2024), and for Legally Blonde: The Musical (2025). Not only was Hailey a part of the run crew, but she had the special job as dog wrangler for one of our four-legged actors!! Outside of theater, Hailey is a member of both the French Honor Society and Key Club. Her interests include writing and listening to music. Hailey would like to thank all of her family and friends for their support along the way, and Mr. Amenta and the stage managers for creating an amazing experience!

Dylan McInerneyDylan is a sophomore and is participating in his third show at New Milford High School. For this fall’s production of The Play That Goes Wrong: High School Edition, he is part of the fly crew, working curtains and drops, and has enjoyed helping build the set. He would like to thank Mr. Amenta, Mr. Durr, and Mr. MacLaren for all the work they put into the show; stage managers Matthew, Kate, and Ava for their dedication; and his family for supporting his interest in NMHS Theatre. Dylan is grateful for the friends he has made while working on Legally Blonde: The Musical, The Crucible, and this funny production, and wants to thank everyone for being so helpful and for making this experience so much fun. He hopes you enjoy the show!

Noah MilotNoah, a junior, appreciates participating in stage crew once again for this fall’s production of The Play That Goes Wrong: High School Edition. This is his fourth show with NMHS Theatre and his second time working on stage crew. Noah is also a member of the NMHS Chorus. He would like to thank Mr. Amenta, Mr. Zwart, and Mr. McNulty for their leadership and time spent supporting and uplifting this production, making it possible to put on an excellent show!

Props Manager
Ceres CarpenterCeres is a junior, and The Play That Goes Wrong: High School Edition marks their fourth production with NMHS Theatre. Outside of theater, Ceres enjoys drawing and spending time with friends and family. Last season, they served as propmaster—making sure all props were in place—and were also part of the run crew, roles they really enjoyed! Ceres would like to thank their friends in the cast and crew for making this production so much fun, especially Miles. They also want to thank Mrs. Holm for her support and their mom for all the rides!

Landry MessinaLandry is a senior and participating in her 7th show with NMHS Theatre! Her first show was Puffs in 2022 and she is excited to be a part of The Play That Goes Wrong: High School Edition for her second to last show here at NMHS! She has been a propmaster since her freshman year. She would like to thank the stage managers, crew, Mr. Amenta, Mr. Zwart, and all of the parents who have helped out during the whole process!!

Seth HoytSeth, a senior, is joining the stage crew for NMHS Theatre’s fall play for the first time. He is looking forward to being a part of The Play That Goes Wrong: High School Edition during his last year at New Milford High School. Seth has been assisting with set building for the current production, as well as three of the previous musicals at NMHS. His previous roles with stage crew have included set building, front of house, and run crew. In addition to being a part of NMHS Theatre, Seth is a member of the award winning NMHS Marching Band and has played for three years on the NMHS Lacrosse team. Seth would like to thank Mr. Amenta for always being someone he can speak to and for the encouragement he has given to expand Seth’s enjoyment of theater! He would also like to thank all of the teachers and family for the support he has been given throughout his years at NMHS.

Hannah StewartHannah, a sophomore, is super excited for this year's play! This is her second year with NMHS Theatre. For last year’s musical,
Legally Blonde: The Musical, Hannah was a mic tech and, prior to joining NMHS Theatre, she worked on mics for the middle school productions. Hannah is also in the NMHS Band and participates in the Wingman program. She would like to thank her parents for supporting her and driving her to all of her activities.

Microphone Tech
Nicoleh DonascimentoNicoleh is a junior and this is her second play with NMHS Theatre! In the past, she was a mic tech for The Crucible, The Little Mermaid, and Legally Blonde: The Musical. Nicoleh loves theater, but she also has a deep passion for volleyball and has played on the NMHS team for three years. For this play, she would like to thank her twin sister, Nathaly, who is always there to support her and bring food! Of course she would also like to thank her mom and dad who are always there to support her and see every show! In addition, she would also like to thank her friends, family members, and her boyfriend who are always there to support her and are a huge part of her life.

Microphone Tech
Vivian O’NeilVivian, a junior, is very excited for her third play with NMHS Theatre. She participated in all of the theater productions beginning in 2023 right up until this fall’s play The Play That Goes Wrong: High School Edition. Along with theater, Vivian is a Girl Scout, plays tuba in the NMHS Band, and is a member of the National Honor Society. Vivian would like to thank her family for igniting her love for theater, Mr. Amenta for allowing her to be in these wonderful shows, and the stage managers for being amazing at their jobs.

Film Crew
Miles DiazMiles, a junior, is working on his fourth show with NMHS Theatre. His past shows have included The Little Mermaid, The Crucible, and
Legally Blonde: The Musical and now he is happy to be on the film crew for this fall’s play, The Play That Goes Wrong: High School Edition. Outside of theater, Miles enjoys drawing and writing. Miles would like to thank Mr. Amenta and Mr. Zwart for making the entire show possible and appreciates all of the hard work that they put into the productions, as well as the cast and crew for making a great show! On a final note, Miles hopes The Play That Goes Wrong, DOESN’T go wrong!!!

Alexandra Samuel Alexandra is a freshman at New Milford High School and The Play That Goes Wrong: High School Edition is her first production with NMHS Theatre. She is very eager to take on all of the new and exciting opportunities. Alexandra is a member of the NMHS Concert Chorus and she loves skiing and has taken lessons at Mohawk Mountain for the last few years. She also loves to hang out with friends and watch scary movies. Alexandra would like to thank Mr. Amenta and Mr. McNulty for their support. Most of all, she would like to thank her parents for all of the rides and especially their encouragement.

Atlas MartinezAtlas, a sophomore, is beginning to take an interest in new activities such as working behind the scenes as a member of the stage crew with NMHS Theatre. Outside of theater, they are interested in amateur photography and video editing. This year felt like a nice start for Atlas—being a part of a big project! Atlas would like to thank their family for support and for the welcoming community within the NMHS Theatre program.

Emma AltemusEmma is a sophomore and in her second year with NMHS Theatre. She loves music, and her tastes span from classics (Van Halen, Megadeath, Jerry Reed, The Monkees, Motley Crue, Guns N Roses, and The Beatles) to more modern music (Riffwood and Gorillaz). She has enjoyed growing into her roles as costume dresser and set designer. Emma would like to thank her mom for her moral support and her dad for rides, the paper towels, and for writing this!

Outside of theater, Annessa is a proud member of the NMHS Chorus and Key Club! She would first like to thank her family and friends for always being there for her. Lana RobertsonLana, a sophomore, is in her first year participating in NMHS Theatre with the stage crew and is having a lot of fun! She has been a part of set building and enjoys painting and glueing the sets. She is very excited for the show and is really enjoying her time on the stage crew. Lana is part of the NMHS Chorus and really enjoys being a part of that as well! She would like to thank Mr. Amenta for running an amazing program. She would also like to thank the stage managers, Matthew Giancaspro, Kate MacLaren, and Ava Dinho, for helping her learn about stage crew! Lana appreciates her family’s interest in asking what she worked on each day after set building, and she thanks her friend Emmie and all of the stage crew for always being so helpful and supportive!

Hana MeehanHana is a sophomore at New Milford High School and The Play That Goes Wrong: High School Edition is her first theater production. Hana also participates with the NMHS Indoor Track and Lacrosse teams. She would like to thank her parents for driving her to all of the rehearsals and the entire stage crew for making this production possible!

Landrie GarciaLandrie, a freshman, is in her first year with the NMHS Theatre program and has been loving it! In her free time, Landrie enjoys running 5k road races. She has previously worked on painting sets for the Sherman School’s production of Music Man Jr. She would like to thank her mother for driving her to set builds, Soohie for greeting her each time she gets home, and the Chipotle employee for serving her food after crew days. She couldn’t do it without them!!
