Sarah Cadieux Pacheco
Mrs. Cadieux Pacheco works as the New Bedford Public Schools Teaching and Learning Specialist for the Arts. Previously she worked as a theatre teacher in the Fine Arts Department at NBHS. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Education from Emerson College in Boston, MA and her M.Ed in Curriculum and Teaching from Boston University. She has also worked as an adjunct faculty member at RIC in the department of Music, Theatre and Dance, and as the Director of Education for the Center for Dynamic Learning. Past NBHS Productions include Lend Me a Tenor, Seussical, Arsenic & Old Lace, Into the Woods, Almost, Maine, Fiddler on the Roof , Romeo & Juliet, Sweeney Todd, It's a Wonderful Life, The Secret Garden, Letters to Sala, Freaky Friday, 10 Ways to Survive Life in a Quarantine, The Matchgirl's Gift and last year's 2021 Film Project. Mrs. Cadieux Pacheco is on the Board of Directors at New Bedford Festival Theatre and Your Theatre, Inc. and has worked as the Summer Academy Coordinator for NBFT since 2015.

Stephanie Donnelly
Stephanie Donnelly is a Theater Teacher at New Bedford High School. Mrs. Donnelly is also currently Secretary/Board Member for Emerson Theater Collaborative (not affiliated with Emerson College) where she stage manages, directs, and often runs the Summer Youth Theater Program! At NBHS, Mrs. Donnelly Co-directed The Matchgirl’s Gift: A Christmas Story and the 2021 Film Project. Before NBHS, Mrs. Donnelly taught Theater at a Kennedy Middle School in Springfield, MA, and at a Beacon Charter High School for the Arts in Woonsocket, RI. She also spent six years as Drama Director at a Saint Bernard High School in Uncasville CT. She holds a B.S. in Communication and B.A. in Theater from Eastern CT State University and an M.A. in Theater Education from Emerson College. Some of her favorite shows she has directed are: The Wizard of Oz, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Seussical Jr, Barrio Grrrl!, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, and As You Like It. Theater is her favorite thing and she is so excited to return to live theater and help share it with the NBHS community!

Assistant Director
Ricardo Aguiar
Ricardo Aguiar (Assistant Director) is a World Language - Portuguese Teacher at New Bedford High School and a proud alumni of the NBHS Drama Club having been a member from 2004-2008. This is his 3rd season with the NBHS Drama Club in a directorial role as he assisted in co-directing 10 Ways to Survive Life in a Quarantine (Spring 2020) and The Match Girl’s Gift: A Christmas Story (Fall 2020) as well as directed The Scuba Lesson, which premiered in last spring’s The 2021 Film Project. He received his MBA and Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from UMass Dartmouth where he was a member of the UMass Dartmouth Theatre Company from 2008-2013 and held the position of Marketing Manager his senior year. Mr. Aguiar is currently a member of The Collective NB where he has performed and directed in various productions locally continuing to be involved in the theatre community which he loves so dearly since 2015.

Karli Swanson
Karli Swanson graduated from Gordon College class of 2017 with a degree in Theatre in History. She later graduated from Emerson college in 2021 with her Master's in Theatre Education. Karli has been part of various productions at the colligate level both on and off stage and completed an internship at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre Center in 2015. This is her first year at New Bedford High School and she is so proud to show the work that the students have created!
Technical Director
Teressa L'Heureux
Ms. L’Heureux is a brand-new member of the Fine Arts creative team. From audio to pyrotechnics, her thirty-year career has spanned every aspect of film and theatre production. Born in Georgia and raised in New Bedford, Ms. L’Heureux began her technical career backstage at the Zeiterion Theatre before hitting the road with numerous tours. She is happy to be back in her old stomping ground helping a new generation of technicians and actors achieve their dreams. Previous work includes: Assistant Theatre Manager (and occasional co-director/guest lecturer) for Thomas Nelson Community College, Technical Director for the Virginia Arts Festival, Lighting Supervisor for Living Arts International Tour of Porgy and Bess, Assistant Head Carpenter/Head of Props Department for Cirque du Soleil’s International Tour Alegria, Assistant Technical Director for Spoleto Festival USA (three venues), and Props Artisan for Boston Lyric Opera. Ms. L’Heureux also holds a bachelor’s degree in History and Anthropology from the College of William and Mary, a Master’s in History from Old Dominion University and is a PhD ABD in History from the University of Maine—Orono.

Katie Sprissler
Katie Sprissler is a senior and a four year member of the drama club. She has been a member of the crew with various responsibilities in The Secret Garden, Letters to Sala, 10 Ways to Survive Life in A Quarantine, A Matchgirl’s Gift, and The 2021 Film Project. Katie is in many other ensembles as well, including: show choir, band, jazz band, and steel band. She would like to thank her friends and family for their constant support.

Cassandra Ellis is a sophomore and first time member of the drama club. She is an assistant stage manager in this years play of The Skin Of Our Teeth. Yvonne Le is a junior and a first year member of the drama club. She is currently an assistant stage manager for this year's production, The Skin of Our Teeth. Yvonne is also involved in other activities, including: band, science olympiad and the winter and spring track and field team. “The Skin of Our Teeth premiered on Broadway at the Plymouth Theatre on November 18, 1942. Directed by Elia Kazan, the production featured Tallulah Bankhead as Sabina, Fredric March as Mr. Antrobus and Florence Eldridge as Mrs. Antrobus. A 1955 Broadway revival, directed by Alan Schneider, starred Helen Hayes, Mary Martin and George Abbott. In 1975, the play returned to Broadway in a production directed by José Quintero.
