Mrs. Antrobus, Ensemble (Brooklin Henriksen)
Brooklin is a senior this year! They have been involved with drama since the musical of their freshman year. Brooklin credits the NBHS drama club as one of her top reasons to be here. They would like to thank Cadge the drama club past and present for offering them a sense of belonging. Brooklin feels so lucky to be a part of this group and is so excited to be playing Mrs. Antrobus in Act 3! She would like to thank her sisters for always giving her love and support to come home to and her parents for believing in her! They hope you love the show and to see you back in the spring!
Mrs. Antrobus, Ensemble (Olivia Viera)
Olivia Viera, is currently a junior and this will be her second on stage production with the NBHS Drama Club. She is honored to have the opportunity to perform live once again. Other favorite roles include: Aunt Em in The Wizard of Oz and Lizzie in Match Girl's Gift. She would like to thank everyone in drama club as well as her whole family for their love and support. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Mrs. Antrobus, Ensemble, Sabina understudy (Makenna Calvao)
Makenna Calvao is a current junior at the high school and she is thrilled to be able to perform on stage once again! This will be her fifth production with the theater company as she has previously been in: Letters to Sala (Caroline), Freaky Friday (Fletcher Blake), A Match Girls Gift: A Christmas Story (Henry), Scuba Lessons (Mary Michaelson), A Dollar (the Villain), and now The Skin of Our Teeth (Mrs.Antrobus, Understudy-Sabina). Makenna is very involved with the drama club where she is currently the secretary on the executive board. In addition to drama club, Makenna is also engaged in multiple other clubs and ensembles where she upholds leadership positions. These ensembles include: the NBHS Jazz Band where she is the lead trumpet, the NBHS Whaler Marching Band where she is a member of the Student Leadership Team and a Drum Major, and SATB Show Choir. She is also a current member of the Student Advisory Council, a Homeroom Representative, and takes 3 AP courses and honors classes. She would like to thank her family who has supported her and all the ensembles she is a part of. She would also like to thank them for all the late nights where they have had to pick her up past 8:30, she is so grateful. Makenna hopes the audience enjoys our first show back and is ready to give it her all!
Mr. Antrobus (Aydan Sullo)
Aydan is a senior at New Bedford High School and president of the NBHS Drama Club, this is his seventh production with the company. He is ecstatic and thoroughly grateful for this production and the resumption of performing with such a special group. Aydan's previous roles with the program are as follows: Ensemble in Sweeney Todd (2018), Harry Bailey in It's A Wonderful Life (2018), Colin Craven in The Secret Garden (2019), Sidney Kirschner in Letters To Sala (2019), Adam in Freaky Friday (2020; cancelled), and Pitch in The Match Girl's Gift: A Christmas Story (2020). Throughout his time here, Aydan has enveloped himself in a community of support, invested in obsessiveness toward the beautiful and unique cycle of performance through theatre, he couldn't be more thankful. Aydan would like to thank his friends and family for their consistent and invariable reassurance, as well as the cast and crew for such an overall fabulous production and environment. Aydan plans on furthering his studies in Musical Theatre during his college journey for an eventual career in music composition/production, voice, and ultimately performance.
Sabina (Isadora Ribeiro)
Isadora Saffron Sylvia-Ribeiro is ecstatic to be finally joining us onstage again for this fall season during her senior year! As a four year member, and acting vice president of the drama club, Isadora is acting in her 6th performance as an NBHS drama student. Her credits include: “Violet” in Its A Wonderful Life” in 2018, “Featured dancer” and “ensemble” in The Secret Garden in 2019, “Raizel” in Letters To Sala in 2019, “Parker” in Freaky Friday 2020, and “Katherine” in A Match Girls Gift in 2020. Outside of high school, Isadora has been performing since she was about three years old, including dancing ballet for thirteen years, as well as acting as an ensemble member in a number of NBHS drama club productions in grade school while her older sister attended NBHS as a drama student. In addition to being a member of NBHS drama club, Isadora is the captain of NBHS Whaler Marching Bands color guard, a part of AOH, the National Honors Society, and a hardworking AP student. Isadora is so glad to be at school again, and excited to take the year by storm, and hopes that everyone enjoys the show!
Henry, Ensemble (Kiva Bank)
Kiva is a sophomore playing the role of Henry in the New Bedford High production of The Skin of Our Teeth. She previously participated in four musicals while attending Global Learning Charter Public School, starting off as an ensemble member in Aladdin, Elf the Musical and Shrek the Musical before continuing on to be Miss Gulch in her final GLCPS production, the Wizard of Oz. She has also performed with the New Bedford Ballet in their productions of The Nutcracker and The Secret Garden. This is her third New Bedford High production, as she was previously a street child in the New Bedford High radio play The Matchgirl’s Gift: A Christmas Story and played The Tragedian in the New Bedford High film “A Dollar”. She is thrilled to be a part of The Skin of Our Teeth cast and hopes you enjoy the show!
Henry, Ensemble (Luke Duarte)
Luke Duarte is in his third year with the theatre company and has played in many shows in his short time. From “Letters to Sala” his freshman year, to 3 screen plays in his sophomore year, and Now playing Henry in Act II of “The Skin Of Our Teeth”, Luke has learned many lessons that he will take with him for the rest of his life, and he thanks everyone around him for taking a chance on him.
Henry, Telegraph Boy, Ensemble (Sam Jupin)
Sam Jupin is a senior this year, and is thrilled to be a part of this performance. He has been a member of Drama Club since his sophomore year, working the middle spotlight for Letters to Sala, and acting as Wells in Freaky Friday. Other than Drama Club, Sam takes part in many after school activities, including being the president of the Great Outdoors Club and Environmental Club, a member of the Whaler Show, and is an editor on the Yearbook Committee. Sam hopes to go to school to study Entomology, and is passionate about enjoying the little things in life, whether that'd be everyday occurrences, the surrounding world, or simply the insects under our feet. He would like to thank his family, friends, and his many mentors for supporting him on his journey to find himself, and hopes everyone enjoys the performance!
Gladys, Ensemble (Altaya Lincoln)
Altaya Lincoln is a freshman and this is her first production with the drama club. They are excited to share this show with you. They would like to thank her Grandmother for being a very lovely lady.
Gladys, Ensemble (Averi Lima)
Averi Lima is excited for this performance and is currently a junior. She has previously been a part of the drama club productions "Letters to Sala" and "Freaky Friday" where she played Young Sala and ensemble. She would like to thank her mother Lauren, her father Raymond, her two sisters, who were also previously a part of drama club, Tayber and Jayden, her brother-in-law Shayne Furtado, and lastly her grandparents Gary and Jo-anna for always supporting her through everything.

Fitzpatrick, Announcer, Ensemble (Lillie-Marie LeClair)
Lillie-Marie is a sophomore and has been heavily involved in the arts. She has been with the drama club since eighth grade. Since being in the drama club, they have been in a few of their productions including "Freaky Friday" as ensemble, "Ten Ways to Survive Life in Quarantine" as Ella and Alison, vocal recording of "Othello" as Iago, and the drama feature film productions "The Angel Intrudes" as Annabelle and "Scuba Lessons" as Coffee girl. In this production of "The Skin of Our Teeth" she is playing the Announcer and Fitzpatrick. Other than drama club, Lillie-Marie is also part of the Jazz Band and Marching Band playing clarinet, and Show choir as a soprano. Outside of school, they are also involved with NBFT and was recently in the cast for their summer program of "Laramie Project 2.0"
Fred Bailey, Ensemble (Lyla Stephens)
Lyla is a fresh and new freshman this year. This is her first time ever participating in any kind of play, and she is very excited! She is casted as Fred Bailey in Act 3 and also plays in the ensemble for Acts 1 and 2, and she is very happy for acting out often throughout the acts. She is very excited for the musical in the spring, so please come by and watch the musical!

Tilly McKay is a first year freshmen drama club student. She has never done a big production like this but she is very excited to be in this experience.
Ivy, Ensemble (Mariam Hasab)
Mariam is a freshmen who was very excited to be able to participate in the NBHS drama club. She had participated in theatrical performances before, however she feels that this experience has truly been something special. Mariam feels that the club and the people in it create such an open and accepting atmosphere which makes every rehearsal a fun and welcome experience for her.

Jaelyn is a freshman and this will be their first production with Drama club! They are very excited to share their first production here with you. They would like to thank the upperclassman in drama club for being so kind and accepting, and teaching us all about how drama works here!
