Jennifer grew up in Huntsville until she moved to Montevallo to attend the University of Montevallo in the Fall of 1990. She spent seven years putting off graduation as long as she could before they kicked her out with a BFA in Technical Theatre degree. From there she decided she needed two miniature versions of herself and became a mom to two sons. After ten years of staying home with them, she decided to change jobs. She started work at Parnell Memorial Library in 2009. At the ripe old age of 48 she finally discovered what she wanted to do with her life and got her Masters of Library Science from the University of Alabama in December of 2020. This is her second play she has been in for the MMSP, but has served on the Board and backstage. Since 2015, Smith has been devoting his time with MMSP to make sure he’s one of those people and he’s always having fun. Whether it’s on the stage, back stage, at the ticket booth, or behind the camera (that happened), MP as they call him is bound to be involved. He was grateful for his first opportunity to work with MMSP and is grateful to continue to be part of an organization that draws different people to experience theater. “Without people there is no theatre. Be part of the experience. There’s nothing like it in the world!” It’s been too long since his last live stage show with MMSP. He is excited about his return, but he is most excited about the return of the audience. “Come and see us!” He has been involved with MMSP for 6 years, and his favorite quote is “A man who fears nothing is a man who loves nothing, and if you love nothing, what joy is there in your life?” - King Arthur, First Knight.
