ATORT Employee This is James’ 15th year of teaching choir and theatre at Mingus Union High School. Hailing from Chicago as a cum laude graduate from Illinois Wesleyan University, he has performed as an actor, singer, conductor and pianist across the nation and overseas as well. He was thrilled to be named Northern Arizona Theatre Director and runner-up, Yavapai County High School Teacher of the Year in 2014. His productions also won the state mainstage competition in 2014, 2016, 2021 as well as the 2019 AZ High School Music Theatre award for Best Musical. He would like to thank his family and friends for their constant dedication and support and his students for their continual inspiration.

ATORT Employee lydia collins has been the costume designer for mingus going on five years a few shows that lydia and her awesome costume crews have done is "newsies" "shakespere in love" and "addams family "

The Importance of Being Earnest is the third ATORT show that Jacob has been a part of and his first show as stage manager. Jacob is very excited to help in putting this show together as the head of the stage management team. He has enjoyed working with the directors and all the wonderful cast and crew members and would like to give special thanks to Audrey Young and James Ball for facilitating all his opportunities within the ATORT theatre.

Cooper Barham is a jr at Mingus Union Highschool, The Importance of Being Earnest is his 8th show at Mingus and is an Asm for the first time. He hopes you enjoy this classic show!

Sarah has been seen as Olive in "25th", ensemble in "Alice", Conquistador in "Addams", ASM in "Cash", ensemble/Anastasia (?) in Palooza, ensemble in "Shrek", in the Broadway Revue, and props in "Shakespeare in Love".

This is Kira strauss, this is her 2nd show with atort. She is an ASM for the show Earnest. She is a junior.

Alize Robinson is a sophomore. This is her 4th show working with ATORT. She is also in concert Choir at Mingus. When she graduates she either wants to do acting or go into the writing industry.

Pearl has been involved with crew since their Freshman year. Previous crew positions have been, "Cash on Delivery: light crew/sound cues, The Addams Family: Projection head, Alice and the Mad Tapper: Spotlights, Spelling Bee: Lighting head."

This is Connor Lechowski, he is a freshman. This is his first show with ATORT. He also does sports.

This is Tamara McDowell's fourth time as a prop head, having participated in every show she's had the chance to as a Junior. She enjoys working with props crew and looks forward to a great show. Tamara is also quite fond of rats.

This Ileana Escobar. She is a Freshman at Mingus Union Highschool. She was a member of props crew for this performance and also for the fall performance, “The 25th Annual Spelling Bee” She hopes you all enjoy “The Importance of being Earnest”

This is Katie Rodriguez and this will be her 4th show with ATORT. They are proud to be on set crew, and help out with the show.

This is hailey romey is a senior at mingus and has been involved with the performing arts since christmas carol and in our most recent show played molly smith. Hailey is very involved in the costume crew, she is a very warm sweet person who takes on a caring and nurturing role for those around her. Hailey is truly a heartwarming person who is amazing to be around. We are all very happy to have her here.

My name is Madison Mathis and I am a senior at Mingus. I have participated in several of the shows at mingus, the most recent being Addams Family and Spelling bee. This year I am participating back stage as Hair and Makeup Head. This will unfortunately be my last year dealing with Mr.Ball and his amazing attitude during tech week. I will definitely miss the stage when I leave. 

Taylor is a freshman here at MUHS. She has never participated in a production here. The Importance Of Being Ernest is her first show. She enjoys doing theatre and acting. Taylor does theatre because nobody she has known or been friends with has done theatre and wanted to be her own person. Taylor loves improv and writing scripts. She also enjoys reading. Her favorite book is “The Obsession”.

This is Leya Brendage, she is a sophomore. This is her second show with ATORT. She is on the hair and makeup crew for Earnest.

This is Christie Mallicoat. She is a sophomore at Mingus and has been a part of the hair and makeup crew for the past 2 productions. She loves music, art, and cosmetology.

Jaelyn Paris is a sophmore at Mingus Union High School, and this is her second show. Jaelyn was also on crew for The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and is now working on hair and makeup for The Importance of Being Earnest. She is also very excited to continue to work on crew for future shows and hopfully eventually become part of cast as well.

Hi, I'm Charles Paul Michael Edwards and I'm one of two sound crew members. I have participated in 4 musicals and plays as sound head, and am extremely excited for Earnest. I used to play basketball, but switched over to theatre when moving to Cottonwood, and found my inspiration was not in sports but theatre instead.

This is Neptune Lee. He is a sophomore. Previously he was on the sound crew for “The 25th Annual Spelling Bee”. He’s been very excited being on the crew for this show and loves cats. He loves cats a lot. Meow meow meow meow :3
