The Importance of Being Earnest Cast

Isaiah Taylor is a sophomore at Mingus Union High School this is his third ATORT production. He is very pleased, and honored, to have been casted as Algernon Moncrieff in ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’. You may have seen him in other productions such as being a part of sound crew for ‘The Addams Family’ or most recently playing Dan Dad in ‘The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee’. He would like to thank his family, and friends, who motivate him to continue doing what he loves!

U/S John Worthing - This is Jarrett Moncibaez, he is a Senior here at Mingus. His first show was “I love you, You’re perfect, Now change”. Since then he has been apart of 13 shows at Mingus, with most recently Gomez in “The Addams Family”, and Chip Tolentino in “25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee”. Now, he plays Reverend Chasuble in his fourteenth show at Mingus, “The Importance of Being Earnest”. Jarrett is an aspiring actor/ singer/ dancer and would like to pursue musical theatre in the future. He is very thankful for James Ball, Audrey Young, Emily Meyer, Ashley Wolfe, Breinne Reeder, Angelica Alcala, and last but certainly not least the Renard family for all their love and support throughout his journey in theatre. He is also thankful for the cast, crew and his second family here at ATORT. Now he asks you to sit back relax and enjoy the show, and if you’ve seen it already he hopes you loved it.

U/S Chasuble - This is Dani Hartnett. They are a senior this year, and this will be their 8th show with Mingus. They’ve spent their whole high-school career being apart of ATORT and has loved absolutely every second of it:).They also have been in Performance Choir since their sophomore year. They’re excited to perform for you, and hope that you enjoy the show!

U/S Algernon Elias Beery is a senior here at Mingus Union High School, and he is Vice President of ATORT. He is passionate about the hit table top role playing game Dungeons and Dragons and the Netflix original sci-fi thriller Dark. He would like to thank his family and friends for supporting him every step of the way and is exited to portray Lane on stage!

Olivia has previously been seen in the Broadway Revue, costume crew in "Shrek", and costume crew for "The Addams Family".

Tatum would like to thank everyone who has supported her and helped her get to where she is now. Specifically, James Ball, Carla and Stephen Renard, Audrey Young, Ashley Wolfe, Breinne Reeder, and Angelica Alcala.

This is Tyler Teague, a senior here at Mingus. They have been an active member of the Mingus preforming arts program since their freshman year and they are super excited to play Cecily Cardew in our performance of The Importance of Being Earnest. This show holds a special place in their heart due to the memories of preforming it in theatre one with one of their closest friends. It’s their last play and they are giving it their all. This is Sarah Orbe, She is a freshman. This is her very first time acting on stage in an ATORT production, she was previously a crew member for the “25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee”.

Jamee Chenoweth is an ATORT Senior and Officer. She has been involved with theater since her freshman year and has had numerous roles/positions including but not limited to: Spelling Bee: Logainne "Schwarzy" SchwartzandGrubenierre, Alice and the Mad Tapper: Tweedle Dumb/Ensemble, The Addams Family: Stage Manager, Shrek: The Musical (RIP): Ensemble/Queen of Hearts, Broadway Revue: Ensemble, Choir, Anna (Frozen), Shakespeare in Love: Ensemble/Bar Maid, Summer Showcase: Spotlight, One-Act: Me and My Selfie Ensemble, Newsies: Props Crew/Extra, The Last Romanoff: Spotlight, A Christmas Carol: Assistant Stage Manager, I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change!: Costume Crew. She is excited to finish out her final year in ATORT with the amazing friends and mentors she has created and hope you enjoy the show!

Eron Taylor is a Sophomore at Mingus, and this will be his 3rd show with ATORT. He is very excited to be a part of this family, and hopes you enjoy the show.
