This is show number 20 for Mrs. Richardson; 11th here at McCarthy Middle School. Mrs. R first taught public school in Dracut, MA when she moved to New England in 2002; thus beginning her middle school musical experience. Other shows she's directed include R&Hs Cinderella, Guys and Dolls, Once on This Island, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Once Upon a Mattress, Music Man, James and the Giant Peach, Moana, Matilda, and Lion King.

Karen is creating her first production for McCarthy Middle School. She has done previous work with Voices Of Hope, Spotlight Theater, North Shore Players and New England Film Orchestra. She would like to thank all of the parents who came out and built the many set pieces for this show, and all the students who created all of the amazing props for the show.

Bex has been working with these kids for 3 years. I absolutely love working on this show and getting to work with all the kids. It makes my day getting to see them grow and learn to love this process just as much as I do. I've been doing theater since I was seven and just never stopped. I started with an organization called Voices of Hope and continue to do theater with them to this day. They put on shows to raise money for cancer research. I'm currently in Jesus Christ Superstar and I'm so excited for it to go up in March. I really want to thank my mom, Karen Rogers, for building the set and helping my ideas come to life. I couldn't have done this without her.

Yasmina is a junior at Chelmsford High and is thrilled to stage manage her 2nd McCarthy musical. She loves being able to help grow others love for theatre and work with such creative minds. She would like to thank Mrs. Richardson, Mrs. Skoog, Mrs. Brennan, and all the dedicated parents for their support and commitment through this process. She feels blessed to have this opportunity and would not be here without her parents and Craig Robertson’s dedication to her success.

Uli is proud to once again be costuming the McCarthy Drama Club annual musical. She as a deep love of the Willy Wonka story and it has been a thrill to bring her own vision of the Wonka characters to life. Uli is a Jr. in TV Media/Theater at Nashoba Tech. HS and is pursuing her Assoc. In Communications through Early College at Middlesex Comm. College. She is so proud of all the work of her amazing middle school costume crew, and thankful for the help of the McCarthy Drama Moms. We could not have done this without you!

Siobhan is in 11th grade and is a co-choreographer of this amazing show! Last year she helped choreograph Lion King Jr. as well. She has been dancing for almost 16 years and choreographing for about 2 years! She is so glad to have been able to help with this show and can't wait to do more!

Arianna Parks is a Junior at Chelmsford High School. She has come back to McCarthy Drama for her second year as Choreographer, as she also helped with Lion King Jr! Arianna has been dancing since she could walk, while assisting teaching and choreographing for the past three years. She is so proud of all the hard work put into this show by all members of this production and cannot wait to see this show come to life on stage!

Rose Lovett is so excited to be the lead hair & makeup designer for this production of Willy Wonka. She is a sophomore at CHS and can be seen participating in their theater productions and singing with the Crescendos acapella group. She would like to thank Mrs. Richardson for believing in her since her first musical as a 7th grader, and now as an Alumni for inviting her to come back and help with the amazing productions McCarthy Drama puts on every year. She would also like to thank the entire cast and production team for being so kind and hardworking. Rose is so excited to watch the talented young actors and crew of this production shine on stage!

Sydney Tambo is junior at CHS and is super excited to be working on the show as head of audio. Last year she was the assistant head of audio for McCarthy’s production of the Lion King and, head of audio for Parker’s production of Annie. This year she was the assistant head of audio for CHS production of Beauty and the Beast. She has been helping with shows since 8th grade and looks forward to improving her skills for the future. She would like to thank all the directors for their work on the show.

Kate Evans is a junior in high school who has been involved with theatre since freshman year. She is happy to have the role of Lighting Designer for this production and would like to thank the directors and other techs.

Eleanor is an 8th grader at McCarthy Middle School, and this is her second show on Crew. She is ecstatic to be working alongside the other crew members and Uli Skoog to put together the costumes for "Willy Wonka Jr". During her free time, she enjoys playing the cello, doing math, reading and sewing. Outside of school she also participates in the swim team and Girl Scouts. Eleanor would like to thank everyone who helped and supported her throughout the year, including her mom and dad, her friends, Mrs. Skoog, and her dog.

Rithvika is an 8th Grader who has a strong passion for Drama Club, especially crew. She knows the amount of effort and dedication it takes to be part of Drama, but she also knows how spectacular the outcome is. This is her 4th Production. She was in High School Musical Jr. (Crew), Lion King Jr. (Art Director, Wildebeest), a Student Lead Play called A+ (Crew, Nurse, Janitor), and this year's Production, Wonka Jr. where she landed the role of Assistant Production Manager! She is stoked to be able to join her wonderful pupils and teachers/adults to bring this show to life. She would like to thank her friends, parents, and sister. She would especially like to give a shout out to Mrs. Skoog for supporting her, teaching her, helping her lead her team (without going insane), and occasionally feeding her Dunkins. Thank you for everything Ginger!

Emma is in 8th grade. This is her fourth McCarthy musical. She also worked on Annie and A+. She is super excited for her last middle school show. She would like to thank her parents for supporting her and a special thank you to Ginger because well she's Ginger. She would also like to thank her fellow crew member Rithvika because she's always there to help Emma.

Claire is in 8th grade, and is very excited to be a crew lead in this year's musical. This year she is the Assistant Technical Director for set construction. She would like to thank her parents, siblings, fellow crew leads, and friends that have all helped her throughout her time in Drama Club. Outside of Drama, you can usually find Claire drawing, playing with her two pets, or playing games. This is her fourth time working as crew for the McCarthy musicals. She has worked on Matilda, Jr. (Art Director), The Lion King, Jr. (Art Director), and A+ (backstage crew). And although this is her final show at McCarthy, Claire knows it will be a good one.

Charlotte is an 8th grader who is very excited to be an Assistant Stage Manager for Willy Wonka Jr. this year. She also was in Parker's 2023 High School Musical Jr., and McCarthy's 2024 The Lion King Jr. Outside of her theatrical endeavors, she loves drawing and baking, reflecting her artistic spirit both on and off the stage. Charlotte would like to thank Ms. Mayer, as she was her biggest inspiration through this entire show, and her parents who continually support her.

Maggie is extremely excited to see how "Willy Wonka Jr." comes to be. She is in 8th grade, and her final year at McCarthy Middle School. This is Maggie's third show at McCarthy, and 8th show overall. All the cast and crew members have worked hard to make this play absolutely amazing! When Maggie is not in school, she loves to play softball. She wants to give a special shout-out to her parents for always making their plans around the schedule, as well as all the parent-helpers, teachers, Mrs. Richardson, cast and crew, etc. for making this play come together.

Esha is so happy to be a part of crew and be involved in McCarthy’s show for the first time. She’s an 8th grader at McCarthy Middle School, and has had so much fun working to make the play come to life. Outside of school she does dance, volleyball and plays an instrument. She is very thankful for everyone who is part of this show and worked so hard to make an amazing play.

Ashlyn is in 7th grade and excited to be part of the play! She has been in three plays including, Matilda (Crew), Annie (Warbucks Staff) and the current play Willy Wonka (Crew). Ashlyn loves softball and hanging out with her friends in her free time. She would like to thank her friends and family for always supporting her and being there for her no matter what.

Gavin is an 8th grader who is thrilled to be making his crew debut in McDrama’s Willy Wonka as a member of the props and set decoration crew teams. Though this is his first production he has always adored plays and musicals and has wanted to be a part of one of the school’s productions for a while. When outside of school, he likes to play card games with his family, bake and listen to music. He’d like to shout out his family, especially his sister, Amanda, for pushing him to finally join the drama club.

Finley is in 7th grade and this is the 3rd play she has been involved in. She loves working with the crew behind the scenes. When she's not at rehearsals, she can be found playing softball, in the pool with her swim team, hanging out with friends, or cuddling her dog, Otis. She would like to say thank you to her parents that have helped her so much, and not just with this play. And to her siblings (insert nice thing here).

JJ is a 7th grader and he's been a part of backstage crew for several school musicals. He really enjoys getting to help build props and the set. JJ prefers to be behind-the-scenes but was once asked, at the last-minute during dress rehearsal, to step on stage in High School Musical Jr when the timing for a certain scene wasn't working just right and he ended up adding some great comedic relief to the show! All in all, JJ finds working on these school musicals lots of fun. Outside of school JJ enjoys being a Patrol Leader in Scouts and helping younger Cub Scouts as a Den Leader. He really likes camping, cooking outdoors, and hiking. He is looking forward to his first High Adventure with Scouts and a different kind of crewing at Sea Base in the Bahamas this summer.

Ethan is a 7th grader who has enjoyed his first year as a member of the McCarthy stage and art crew where he has been able to meet new people and exhibit his full artistic potential. Ethan enjoys cooking, creating art, watching horror movies, and spending time with his family. He would like to thank his mom for encouraging him to try theater; learn and experience something new and step out of his comfort zone.

Rasm is a 7th grader at McCarthy Middle school. She thinks that this show has been an amazing thing to experience and was a great way to learn new things. She also thinks that the production was not only fun, but it sparked many new interests of hers including craft, communication, and music. Outside of school and extracurriculars, she likes to spend time with her family and friends. She would like to thank everyone that has been involved in production and believes that this musical was not only made possible by the absolutely amazing cast, but also by the chaperones and crew who worked behind the scenes to make this show one that you'll remember and enjoy.

Ava is excited to be on the crew and assisting with hair, make-up, and prop creations. Outside of creating fabulous styles for this show, Ava enjoys playing softball, swimming for the Westfit Dolphins team, and going to the mall with friends. Ava would like to thank all those who instilled in her a love of musical theatre, including Ms. Regensburger and Knee Knee.

Wyatt is in 8th Grade and is a set and prop constructor for this year’s show. He is very excited to see the set and props come to life. Wyatt is interested in art and loves to listen to music. He was previously in the Lion King Jr. (stage crew, set and prop construction).

Maks is a 7th grader who is looking forward to helping the Crew for the Willy Wonka musical. This is his first time doing this, and he’s excited to be part of everything that goes on backstage. He enjoys music, festival Orchestra, playing the bass, and skiing. His family and dogs take up most of his time, along with gaming with his friends. He is happy for the chance to be part of this play.

Aria is excited to be in the crew of Wonka Jr.! This is her first year in crew for McCarthy and Parker Middle School, but she has been in musicals before. Last year, she was in Annie Jr., and she was in the orphan ensemble. She is also very excited to work alongside her best friend Makaylah. She also enjoys dancing and hanging out with her family.

Akshara is in 7th grade and is very happy to be a part of Wonka Jr. She really likes to draw and play soccer. She would like to thank her best friend Anjali for helping her through the Drama process and for encouraging her to try it out.

Kaelyn is an 8th grader who is overjoyed to be making her crew debut in McDrama's Willy Wonka Jr. In crew, she provides help in the publicity team and set decoration aspects of crew. Aside from helping, she spends her free time reading and playing both guitar and softball. She also wants to personally thank and shout out her incredible friends in the cast: Ava (Augustus) and Zoe (Veruca) for their constant support and being incredible friends and loyal cast members!

Lily is an 8th grader who is thrilled to be part of McCarthy's Willy Wonka play production! This is her first time helping with crew, but she is determined to make everything look the best it can. Outside of school, Lily likes to hang out with her friends or go on bike rides around the neighborhood. She would like to thank Ms. Mayer for teaching her art for three years and her friends for being there to help.

Veena is in 7th grade and is very excited to be part of "Willy Wonka"! She has participated in shows such as "Matilda Jr." (Big Kid Ensemble), "Annie KIDS" (Stars-To-Be Ensemble), and "Little Shop of Horrors" (Chiffon). She has been taking vocal lessons since 3rd grade, but this year, she decided to try something different by joining the crew. She is now a member of the costume and makeup & hair crew. Veena would like to thank her family, vocal coaches, and friends for their support!

Mahi is an 8th grader who is in publicity and props. She loves art and painting, and she also loves musical theatre! She feels like the show is really fun and creative. This is the first year she is in drama and it is an incredible experience for her. She would like to thank her friends and family for supporting her through the whole process.

Ava is in 7th grade and is so excited for the musical!

Grayson is in 8th grade and is excited for his first Crew experience. Outside of Publicity Crew, Grayson likes to play many instruments and play in the All Town Wind Ensemble. He would like to thank his family for supporting him and his friends for getting him into this position in Crew.

Ava is a 7th grader and this will be her third show. In the past, she has done Matilda (crew), Annie Jr. (New Yorker) and now Willy Wonka Jr. (crew). In her free time, she hangs out with friends and plays basketball. She would like to thank her parents for picking her up from drama.

Shania is really excited about her debut in McCarthy’s Willy Wonka musical. Shania loves 8th grade and when not in school, she enjoys playing soccer and reading. You’ll find her at home relaxing or at soccer practice. She wants to thank her Mom and Dad for picking her up from after school activities!

Aditi is in 8th Grade, and she’s very proud of what this show is turning out to be. She’s been in Moana Jr., Matilda Jr., Lion King Jr., and the first play at McCarthy, “A+”. Outside of school, she loves playing sports, drawing, reading and listening to music. She’d like to give a shoutout to everyone in the musical this year. Keep at it everyone, this show is going to be the best yet!

Udya is in 7th grade and is very excited about doing costume and hair and makeup designing. She loves dance and hanging out with her friends. This is very exciting and she will enjoy doing these roles. She would like to thank Mrs. Richardson for making this play happen.
