Belles Cast

Peggy Reece (Peggy Allen)
Peggy is excited to be back with Mason Community Players after a very long hiatus! She started her community theater endeavors with Mason years ago with "Cheaper by the Dozen" and "Hillbilly Women." Then she took a long break as her daughters were growing up. Since then, she has been fortunate to be cast in many productions over the Greater Cincinnati and Dayton areas—she has so many favorite roles now that they are too lengthy to list! In addition to theater, Peggy also works as a print model, as well as in commercials and films. She is also an avid clogger— performing at various festivals, parades, special occasions and nursing homes. She has had fun getting to know everyone on this production and is grateful for the opportunity. She is excited that she and her character share the same name! Peggy wishes to thank her family, friends, and patrons for their support!
Audrey Hart (Melissia Gary)
Melissia is excited to be back onstage after a long intermission in live theater. She wants to welcome you back to our new home with this funny and poignant new production. You may have seen Melissia before in The Importance of "Being Ernest," "Curious Savage," "Three Murders and It’s only Monday," "Murders Bad but Monday Can Kill You" and a few musicals here and there. Come back and see her in our next show, "You Have the Right to Remain Dead." I’m seeing a pattern here! Thanks to a wonderful cast and crew for making this return magical. Thanks especially to her husband of 33 years Perry Gary, without his support this wouldn’t be possible.
Paige Walker (Emma Hall)
Emma Hall recently graduated from Xavier University with a Master's of Occupational Therapy with a minor in vocal performance. She has always loved performing and is so excited to finally be in a play again after a very long hiatus from the stage. Paige is a character near and dear to Emma’s heart, as she is a recent graduate student and has had her own indecisive moments… Emma would like to thank her family, her boyfriend Dane (who is featured in the show!), and her best friend Mackenzie Ferguson (who always deserves a shoutout), for always believing in her. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Rosanne Johnson (Ginny Johnson)
Ginny Johnson performed with MCP in "12 Angry Men" (2014) and two of the October Train mysteries. As a busy wife and homeschool, baseball, softball, basketball, taekwondo (she’s currently a purple belt!) mom of 8 kids, ages 24-12, it’s rare for her to find time for months of rehearsals and performances! Her favorite roles have been Fred in "Once Upon A Mattress," Adelaide in "Guys and Dolls" and Molly in Mousetrap. Ginny has been married to her high school sweetheart, Doug, for 30 years this May!
Aneece Walker (L Elise Kaplan)
Elise is thrilled to be performing again with MCP. She previously played Anna in MCP’s production of "The King and I" and Clair in "The Visit." Elise has been performing most of her life. Her first professional role was at 14 as Snow White in "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" for the Hampton Beach Theater in Hampton Beach, NH. She studied opera at Oberlin College and New England School of Music. Musical credits include The Light Opera Company with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Ella in "The Bells Are Ringing," Vi in "Blue Monday," The Baroness in "The Sound of Music," and Fanny in "Funny Girl." Dramatic roles include Lucky in "Waiting for Godot" and Lady Macbeth in Shakespeare’s "Macbeth." She dedicates this performance to Dennis Phelps who was the only man that truly understood, supported, and forgave her.
Sherry "Dust" Walker (Jennifer Lisa)
Jennifer was not expecting to be on stage for this, but when the original “Dust” was no longer available, she decided to go outside her comfort zone and do a show that was not a musical. Her two favorite roles have been Donna in "Mamma Mia" and Lady Thiang in "The King and I." She is excited and scared for this performance, but hopes you all enjoy what has been a fun challenge!
Mike Kozlowski (Dane Morey)
Dane Morey is a current Ph.D. student at the Ohio State University where he has a major in theatre, a minor in music, and an MS in cognitive systems engineering. Engineer by day, theatre performer by night, Dane has kept his alter ego active by performing and directing with local groups like Acting Up, Fairfield Summer Theatre, Lebanon Theatre Company, and The Story Collective of Cincinnati. His credits range from Shakespeare to new works, including seven mainstage productions with the OSU Department of Theatre and School of Music. Dane wishes the best to the cast and crew of this hilarious and impactful play!
Huckle (Charlie)
Charlie is excited to be playing the role of Huckle. Since retiring from television, Charlie has enjoyed working onstage with MCP. You may have seen him in "Three Murders, and It’s only Monday," and "Murders Bad but Monday Can Kill You." Charlie wants to thank everyone involved in finding him after his relocation to the Mason Community Playhouse and Melissia for making sure her hands are always warm. Enjoy the show!
