Les Miserables Cast
Mason Maney, Senior (Jean Valjean)Mason is involved in Vocal Jazz, Band, and Jazz Band at MHS. His recent roles include Mr. Webb in Our Town (2025), Nathan Detroit in Guys and Dolls (2025), and George in The Drowsy Chaperone (2024). He would like to thank his parents for always putting everything aside to help his dreams come true and for encouraging him to strive for more. He also thanks his friend Jaden for always making him laugh and Mr. Rice, Mr. Erickson, and Mrs. Jenny for helping him grow so much in such a short time.
Christian Gray, Sophomore (Javert)Christian serves as a sophomore class council member and is active in MHS Vocal Jazz and Mascoutah Spirit. His recent roles include Stage Manager in MHS’s 2025 production of Our Town, Cinderella’s Father in GCPA’s 2025 production of Into the Woods, and Arvide Abernathy in MHS’s 2025 production of Guys and Dolls. He would like to thank his mom and dad for their endless support, his grandma and aunt for their constant love, and Mr. Rice, Mr. Erickson, Ms. Jenny, Mrs. DeBusk, and Mrs. Cummins for believing in him and shaping him into the actor and person he is today.
Felix Santana III, Senior (Enjolras)Felix is an active leader in both his school and community. He serves as Corps Commander of the Mascoutah AFJROTC unit, sings in the MHS Vocal Jazz Ensemble, and has earned the rank of Eagle Scout. His past roles at MHS include Dr. Gibbs in Our Town, Laurie in Little Women, and Roger Hopewell in The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940. Felix would like to thank his parents, Danielle and Felix, his siblings Celia and Bear, and Evie for their constant love and support. He also gives special thanks to JIM for starting him on this theatrical journey. It has been a long ride, but a meaningful one. Enjoy the show!
Annabelle Redenius, Senior (Fantine) Annabelle is a member of MHS Varsity Cheer, the MHS Vocal Jazz Ensemble, and serves as President of the National Honor Society. She most recently performed as Mrs. Webb and Emily Webb in MHS’s 2025 production of Our Town, Sarah Brown in Guys and Dolls (2025), and Janet Van De Graaff in The Drowsy Chaperone (2024). She would like to thank the music educators who have made an unforgettable impact on her life, as well as her parents, family, and Eli for their constant love and encouragement. Crispin Shininger, Senior (Marius)Crispin serves as Senior Class President and is a member of the National Honor Society and a tenor in the MHS Vocal Jazz Ensemble. A four-time regional acting nominee, he will make his professional debut this summer in St. Louis as Tobias in Sweeney Todd. His recent accomplishments include performing in the 2026 ILMEA Honors Vocal Jazz Ensemble and receiving the Triple Threat Award for his portrayal of Jimmy Smith at the 2026 St. Louis Teen Talent Finals at the Fabulous Fox Theatre. Crispin plans to pursue a BFA in Musical Theatre and is currently navigating the college callback process. He would like to thank his voice teachers, Freddie Rice and Jennifer Rea, his dance teacher Angela Healy, and his parents, siblings, and best friend Wini for their unwavering support.
Jaden Gniotczynski, Senior (Thénardier)Jaden is involved in Varsity Tennis, FBLA, and enjoys baking. His previous roles include Ken De La Maize in The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940 (2024), Professor Bhaer in Little Women (2025), and Benny Southstreet in Guys and Dolls (2025). He would like to thank Jenny Rea for helping him strengthen his singing and acting skills, as well as his family and friends for always supporting his passion.
Jaidyn Cugier, Senior (Cosette)Jaidyn is involved in MHS Beta Club, Future Business Leaders of America, and the National Honor Society. This is her debut in a lead role, but has contributed to the ensemble of The Drowsy Chaperone and Something Rotten. She would like to thank her mom for always believing in her and Jenny Rea for helping her grow as a performer.
Aiyanna Nicholson, Sophomore (Mme. Thénardier)Aiyanna is a member of Treble Choir, BSU, and Beta Club at MHS. Her previous roles include Sam Craig in MHS’s 2025 production of Our Town, a mission band member in the 2025 production of Guys and Dolls, and Avery Millen in MMS’s 2024 production of Murder on the 518. She would like to thank her mom, dad, auntie, and nana for always being her biggest supporters throughout her theater journey. She also gives a huge shout-out to her friends who listened to her talk about Les Misérables for months and loved her anyway!
Amari Kimbrough, Senior (Eponine)Amari is a student leader in First Priority and a member of Vocal Jazz and Tribe Talk. Her recent roles include Mrs. Gibbs in Our Town (2025), General Matilda in Guys and Dolls, and understudy for Bernice/Elsa in The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940. She would like to thank Jesus and her family for supporting her passion for performing. She is grateful to Ms. Jenny, Mr. Rice, and Mr. Erickson for believing in her and pushing her to become a better singer and actor. She hopes to be an inspiration to others through her work on the stage.
Calvin Prince, Junior (The Bishop of Digne)Calvin participates in Vocal Jazz, Jazz Band, and Marching Band at MHS. He previously performed as John Brooke in Little Women and Rusty Charlie in Guys and Dolls. He would like to thank his friends and his vocal teacher for continually pushing and encouraging him to grow and perform to the best of his ability.
James Ghirarda, 6th Grade (Gavroche)James is thrilled to be appearing in his tenth stage production. His recent roles include Chip in this summer’s production of Beauty and the Beast with the Mascoutah Summer Program, a member of the ensemble in last year’s MMS production of Mall Madness, and a performer in Imagine a Dragon with A Theatre Company. Outside of theater, James enjoys reading, especially the Wings of Fire series, creating his own shows on his computer and playing games like Geometry Dash with his friends. He would like to thank his parents, grandparents, and Hannah Dean for their constant encouragement, and Mr. Rice for giving him this opportunity to shine on stage.
Ben Aceto (Gavroche, Understudy)Ben is excited to make his stage debut in this production. Outside of theater, he enjoys staying active by playing hockey and soccer, and he performs as a clarinetist in the school band. Ben would like to thank his family for their support and for bringing him to rehearsals.
Delilah Warner. 4th Grade (Little Cosette)Aside from portraying an angel in a church play, this production marks Delilah’s stage debut. She is excited to be part of the cast and to share this new experience with the audience. Outside of the spotlight, Delilah enjoys playing softball, as well as drawing and coloring in her free time. She would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to her sister, Lucinda, for taking her to rehearsals, and to her mom for always being there to support and encourage her.
Cora Jenkins. 4th Grade (Little Cosette, Understudy)Although Cora has previously participated in Drama Camp, this marks her first full stage production. She is excited to take this next step in her theatrical journey and be part of the cast. Outside of theater, Cora enjoys playing games, swimming, and creating art. She would like to thank her mom for being by her side at practices and for her continued love and support.
Nala Merritt, 4th Grade (Little Epinone)Nala is thrilled to be making her stage debut in this production. She enjoys singing and dancing and is an active member of her elementary school band. Nala would like to thank her mom for always being such a wonderful and supportive parent.
