The Little Mermaid Cast

Ella Stevens is a senior at Maranacook high school. The day she figured out that she was a lead of the show, it was the happiest day of her life (happier than the day that she got into college). That should give you an idea of just how much she loves to be in the spotlight. She is so happy to be part of a cast that is supportive beyond anything she could have hoped for. She would like to thank her directors Dan and Liz for helping her become part of their world.

Jaden is a junior at Maranacook who has done theatre for almost all of his life. He is involved in music and arts programs and enjoys most things art related. He played many roles in past shows here at Maranacook, such as Hera, Hades, and Odysseus in The Iliad, The Odyssey and all of Greek Mythology in 99 Minutes or less, and 1/2 of Webster Marcus Dunkin in A Plague Upon Me or How Not to save a Life.

Emily, who is playing ursula, is in her senior year, and this will be her last performance at Maranacook high school. She is very happy finish up with this production. Shoutout da poopsies.

Christian is a Sophomore at MCHS who has had an interest in the arts since he was young. He has starred in several play, such as Annie and The Iliad, The Odyssey, and all of Greek Mythology in 99 Minutes. He is very excited to do this play and hopes that everyone will enjoy the show.

Hannah McAdam is a sophomore at Maranacook Community High School and this is her third show here. She started acting when she was 6 and since then she has been in shows such as "Pinocchio", "Wizard of Oz" "Annie", and "High School Musical Jr." she has also helped out with "Leremie Project" and is currently stage managing "The Addams Family" in Monmouth. She is so exited to do this with all of her friends and hopes you enjoy the show!

Josie Walker is a sophomore at Maranacook. this is her 3rd show at the school. She is very very excited to be playing the main character in The Little Mermaid, Flotsam the sneaky eel. She hopes you enjoy the show and her performance! :)

Hayden Freemen is a Sophomore this year at Maranacook, and is already tired of writing cast bios. However she will be writing this with such passion and love it will shock you all to your very core. She is happily playing Scuttle the seagull with the poise of a toddler and sanity of a 90 year old (if you are 90, props to you). She's been in a handful and a half of other shows you may or may not have had the pleasure of seeing, and she sincerely hopes you enjoy the show! (oh who am i kidding, you will, its great.)

Mila Barnes-Bukher is a sophomore and The Little Mermaid is her third show here at MCHS. Previous roles include Robinson Crusoe (Robinson Crusoe), the Jester (A Plague Upon Me) and Very Interesting and Cool Person (every day of her life). Her least favorite book is SpongeBob Comics: Book 1: Silly Sea Stories. She is just tickled pink to be playing Chef Louis and she hopes you enjoy the show!

Cassidy McCormack is a sophomore at Maranacook this year. She is very excited to be in her first musical at the high school. Recently she has been in the cast of the fall play (The Iliad, The Odyssey, and all of Greek Mythology in 99 minutes or less). In her free time she enjoys playing tennis, listening to music, doing little dances in places where it is weird to do little dances, and telling MCHS teachers she is god.

Evelyn Dearborn is a specimen native to the Maranacook Community High school area. This illusive specimen, is frequently found in the music room relishing in the company of the piano. This particular breed has been involved in the Maranacook theatre program for the past 3 years, first partaking in "A Plague Upon Me; Or How Not to Save a Life" and next, "The Iliad, the Odyssey, and all of Greek Mythology in 99 Minutes or Less." When this illusive creature is not busying itself with theatre, it is often holed away in it’s den writing, reading, eating, or rotting. If you dare to approach this particular Evelyn Dearborn after the show, please approach with caution. It is easily frightened by unfamiliar faces, loud noises.

Chianna Morrison will be playing three roles, Adele the mersister a princess that is trying to win the love of the prince, and a maid.

Ilana is a Sophomore at Maranacook. She has been a part of theatre since 6th grade and has always enjoyed it. This is her second musical she has been a part of, her first being Annie Jr. in 8th grade where she played Grace Farrell, also known as the secretary of Oliver Warbucks. Ilana has been in 3 other plays including Cafe Murder, I am, and A Plague Upon Me. She is excited to be a part of the first in person musical we've put on since before Covid. She hopes you enjoy the show.

Kusha Kane is a senior here at Maranacook making it her third and final musical. She was a part of both Footloose and Mamma Mia in the past and is so excited that you've come to see The Little Mermaid! Kusha has so much love for her fellow cast and would like to thank Dan and Maisie for putting their all into this production.

He’s very excited to participate in the musical for the first time since his freshman year.

He is very excited to be part of the show, and to meet new people too.

Emily lucas has always enjoyed being a part of the musicals such as Footloose and Mama Mia! She is thrilled to have the opportunity to be in The Little Mermaid her senior year, after not being able to have a musical at all last year.

I Love to nordic ski, play football and do Crossfit with my Mother, who is my inspiration.

Trenton gets roped in to play his second Maranacook show (A Plauge Upon me: or How not to Save a Life). He prefers playing baseball, but he will do anything for Dan.

Silas is a sophomore, and is in his first production with Maranacook Community High School. He is a slacker and did not get his cast bio done until a week before the show, but nevertheless has been greatly enjoying being a part of it. Besides theater, he also enjoys being a part of various music programs at the school, as well as being a member of the nordic skiing, cross country, and track teams. He is very excited for the performance and is eager to share it with you!

Ella is happy to be back in the ensemble for her senior year after being a part of the prior productions Mamma Mia and Footloose.

Elsa is an involved student here at Maranacook High School. She is a three sport athlete, an artist, a singer, a member of many clubs and a sucker for musical theater. Elsa has participated in middle school performances but has been out of touch with musical theater for a short time. However, she is ready to hop back into the groove.

Mimi Knight is a senior at Maranacook. She was an ensemble member in the 2019 production of Mamma Mia and is super excited to be a part of The Little Mermaid cast.
