Sefanja Richard Galon (Director) SEFANJA RICHARD GALON is a Surinamese-American playwright, director and actor. He was born in Miami, Florida, but when he was eight moved to Paramaribo, Suriname and was raised there. He works now in the Miami area as an actor, playwright and director. He has a B.F.A. in Theatre from New World School of the Arts in Miami, Florida. During his tenure there he was President of the Student Government Association and wrote ‘A Secret for the Mad’, a one person show. His past credits include Sibling Rivalries/Spooks in an Ivory Tower (Sheldon Henderson), Ragtime (Ensemble) and In the Red and Brown Water (Shango).. In February '23, Galon had his professional playwriting debut at Thank You Miami, Miami, FLfor the production of his play, Jealousy. Look forward to his short play being featured in City Theatre’s City Shorts: Homegrown Edition this June.

 

 

Christina Ortega (Stage Manager) Cristina Ortega is an Actress/Stage Manager. Her recent credits include "Caraboom" with Miami Live Arts, "Elian" with Miami New Drama, "Al Amanecer" with the Koubek Center and she is now stage managing "Sweat" with Mainstreet Players. She is a Miami native and has been involved the arts since she was 6 years old.
