Laura Argo (Tracey)
Laura Argo is happy to be back at Main Street Players and to have the opportunity to be part of such an important production. Originally from Toronto, Canada, and graduate of the Claude Watson Performing Arts program, Laura feels lucky to have found a place in the theatre community of South Florida, where she continues to learn and grow as a performer. Previous credits include the role of Gwen in Rapture, Blister Burn at Main Street Players, and various roles in City Shorts 2022 with City Theatre Miami. Garrett Colon (Jason)
Garrett Colon is a Miami born actor who’s college education comes from New World School of the arts. Previously, Garrett has played the role of Lot in Alternative Canon with LakehouseRanch.png and is honored to have the privilege of working with Main Street Players. Garrett would like to thank the Board at Mainstreet for bringing him back for Tribes, Sefanja Richard Galon for casting him in Sweat and his family for their continued support!
Frank Montoto (Stan)
Frank Montoto is a New World School of the Arts graduate and a Carbonell Award nominee. Previous credits include Gaston/Lumiere (Beauty and the Beast), Ernst Ludwig (Cabaret), Mr. Warbucks (Annie), Shrek (Shrek). He is grateful to be a part of this magnificent cast telling such an important story in a time when it’s so necessary to hear.
Phillip Andrew Santiago (Oscar)
Phillip (@i.am.phillip_andrew) is excited to make his Main Street Players debut in this poignant piece. Still a Nuyorican at heart, he is proud to be a part of the South Florida Theatre Community. Sterling Tribue (Evan)
Sterling Tribue is a South Florida based actor & playwright. Some of his credits include “The Robbery” & “Playball” which he wrote as well as acted in & “I am Miami” at Microtheater.
Chasity Hart (Cynthia)
Chasity Hart is a singer, writer , and actress from Ft.Lauderdale, Fl by way of Natchitoches, Louisiana. She is excited to be a part of this amazing thought-provoking production. Hart received her BFA degree from South Florida’s own New World School of the Arts/ University of Florida. She is now a proud member of the groundbreaking M Ensemble Company. She was last seen in the M Ensemble's "Blues for an Alabama Sky". Hart was also seen in Brevo Theatre's "Funny House of a Negro". Main Street Player’s "Shakespeare is a White Supremacist”. M Ensemble’s production of Sisters (Cassie). The African Heritage Cultural Arts Center’s The Colored Museum (Aunt Ethel, Topsy) MTC Them Beaux (Cherry) City Theatre's Summer Shorts (Various) and Anti-Bullying Tour Shortcutz (Various). Also, Entr'acte Theatrix’s production of Avenue Q (Gary Coleman). She has released 3 R&B/Soul singles (Close to Me, Real One, & Chocolate Love) on all musical platforms and released her first Debut EP “Stages” April 2022! She’d like to thank her family for their continued support and God for being a constant miracle worker in her life. A Lupus and NeuroMylitis Survivor she encourages anyone battling an autoimmune disease to continue fighting and pursuing their dreams no matter what!
Jocelyn Lombardo (Jessie)
Jocelyn Lombardo is thrilled to be part of this production! She studied acting under the direction of Gene Frankel in New York City and marked her stage debut as the lead in an off-Broadway production. Today, she makes her home in South Florida where she continues to pursue her craft. Her most recent stage credit is with City Theatre Miami's production of City Shorts '22 in which she played multiple roles. Warren Welds (Brucie)
Born and raised in Miami, Warren has made many feats in his nine years of acting. Graduating from FIU Theatre with a BFA in performance almost 2 years ago, he is honored to be performing at MSP for the first time!
