Mr. Jason Rutledge is in his ninth year at Los Alamos High School and is directing his eighth musical in that span. A graduate from the University of Arkansas, Mr. Rutledge studied Musical Theatre with Amy Herzberg and voice with Dr. Eddie Jones. His musicals and theatre students have been nominated for numerous awards both at the State level and Nationally - including winning Best Ensemble in 2018. When not at school Jason enjoys traveling the world with his amazing wife Kristine or watching Love Island in the company of his two dogs and cat.

Jessica Erkkila is a recent LAHS graduate, and a proud Olions alumna. She is currently taking a gap year before attending the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Fall 2020 to study Theatre. Having been heavily involved in Olions throughout all four years of high school, she is very excited to continue to be part of the production process. Her choreography experience includes the Olions' productions of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (2018), and Hello, Dolly! (2019). However, this is the first time she has choreographed an entire musical all by herself, so she would like to thank her very talented cast for being patient with her, and sometimes dancing outside of their comfort zones! She would also like to thank her mentor and friend, Patrick MacDoland, for teaching her everything she knows about the art that is musical theatre dance. Enjoy!

Ryan Finn is a New Mexico native and alumni of the Santa Fe Youth Symphony. He is currently the Band Director at Los Alamos Middle School where he has directed concert bands and jazz bands for the past five years. Ryan performs locally with a number of jazz and blues bands on trombone and leads a jazz group that performs many of his original compositions, most of which are in Caribbean and Latin American styles. Ryan received a Bachelors of Music Education in 2004 from Loyola University - New Orleans and a Masters of Educational Leadership in 2017 from New Mexico Highlands University. He regularly clinics middle school and high school bands from around the state and his own groups regularly receive Superior ratings at district festivals and the NM State Contest.

Malea Joyce is the Student Director for Twelfth Night. She is a senior at Los Alamos High School who has been a part of Olions since her freshman year. Malea started her journey on stage in elementary school as a part of NMDT dance company. In high school, she performed in Hello! Dolly, (2019), Brighton Beach Memoirs, (2018), For Whom the Southern Bell Tolls, (2018), Student One Acts (2017), It’s a Wonderful Life (2017), and Mary Poppins (2017). In addition to performing, she has also written the one-act ‘They Wouldn’t Let Me Have Scene Changes or a Dragon Costume” (2018) and was student producer for Topper Revue (2018). As an active member of Olions she has served as the co-Head of the Hair Department since her sophomore year and in her junior year also joined Olions Student Board as Treasurer. This year she is Vice-President of Olions. Malea would like to thank her parents, Brenda and John Joyce, for their continued support of her pursuing a passion for the stage.

Kajsa is this year’s Student Technical Director, and has worked very hard to make sure you can see the stage and hear our lovely actors! She has worked in several aspects of tech before, running and helping to design the lighting for Topper Revue, One Acts, and placed second in the state for our competition one act. She also stage-managed the One Acts last year, and has assisted with backstage crew and designed sound for the One Acts. Everyone involved has put an incredible amount of work to make this a great production she is proud to be a part of.

Savannah is a junior this year. She has been doing tech since the sixth grade. Over the summer she had the privilege to go to National Student Leadership Conference for theater and won three awards including Best Stage Manager, Best Set Design, and Best Writing. She is thankful for the opportunity to be able to design the set and assistant stage manage.

Cade is a senior. He likes Olions because it's fun. He has enjoyed working with and meeting everyone in the cast. Cade wants to express his gratitude to all his colleagues specifically his family and friends for all the support they have given him. Enjoy the show!
