Liva Langer (Juliet)
*Actors Conservatory* Liva Langer is in her second year at LPC, and is thrilled to be in both the first cohort of LPC's Actors Conservatory and her second production here at LPC. You may have seen her last semester as Terry Randall in Stage Door. Some of her other favorite credits include Eugene O’Neill’s only comedy Ah, Wilderness! (Mildred) with Douglas Morrison Theatre, Born Yesterday (Manicurist) with Chanticleers Theatre, Summer And Smoke (Alma) with Castro Valley Dramatic Arts Academy and The Crucible (Elizabeth) with Castro Valley High School.
Abraham Abotel (Mercutio/Balthasar)
This is Abraham's first year in theater at Las Positas College. He is currently in his second year at Diablo Valley College with a major in Film, Television, and Electronic Media and has his sights set on transferring to UCLA. Abraham wants to apply acting to his overall career in film because he believes it will help him towards his dream of becoming a film director. He loves to hang out with friends, play sports, and make movies. He also has fun embarrassing himself for people's entertainment. Abraham can't wait to be in his very first show and is very excited to do acting in the future.
Liam Joseph (Paris)
* Actors Conservatory* Liam Joseph is in his second year at LPC, and is honored to be a part of the first group of actors among LPC´s Actor conservatory, as well as performing in his first show here at LPC.He began his training at Amador Valley High school where he acted in his first show, Amador Valley Live and has been invested in his growth ever since. After the spring semester of 2021, Liam wishes to transfer to better his acting skills and training as a Bay Area Actor. Liam loves theatre, and is learning more about it everyday, as he pursues an acting career in the Performing Arts
Danny Georgiev (Romeo)
Danny Georgiev (Romeo) is honored to be in his first production here at Las Positas in his freshman year. He graduated earlier this year from Castro Valley High School where he first fell in love with the performing arts. Some of his favorite credits are Chicago (Amos) with Castro Valley High, Brighton Beach Memoirs (Stanley) with Castro Valley Dram. Arts Academy, and Cabaret (Bobby) with Chanticleers Theatre.
Veronica Valenti (Gregory/Prologue)
Veronica Valenti (Chorus/Gregory) is very excited to be a part of this project! She has previously performed in LPC’s productions of Arcadia and Stagedoor, and she has worked tech for LPC’s Evita, The Drowsy Chaperone, and Evil Dead: The Musical. She hopes you can come and join us to watch this incredible and unique performance!
Gee Moloi (Nkosazana (Princess))
Gee Moloi (Prince) is very excited to be a part of this project! She has previously worked as Tech Crew in LPC’s productions of Arcadia and Drowsy Chaperone. She hopes you can come and join us to watch this incredible and unique performance!
Arsalan Khan (Benvolio)
Arsalan Khan (Benvolio) is incredibly ecstatic to be making his return to the Las Positas (digital) stage after two years as Benvolio in Romeo and Juliet​. He is currently finishing up his undergraduate at AMDA in the BFA Acting program. You might have seen him in previous shows including Titanic the Musical, Dancing at Lughnasa, and Brighton Beach Memoirs.
Kyle Burgess (Lord Capulet / Apothecary)
Kyle Burgess (Lord Capulet/Apothecary) is overjoyed to take part in Las Positas College’s very first live stream production. You may have seen him in previous Las Positas productions such as “The Drowsy Chaperone"(Man in Chair) and “Arcadia" (Ezra Chater). He has studied acting at the Joanne Baron/D.W. Brown acting studio in Santa Monica,CA and enjoys his work as a theme park performer.
Salim Razawi (Tybalt / Friar)
Salim is an actor, director, and teaching artist based in the bay Area. Most recently he directed a world premiere production on Environmental Justice. Other previous directing credits include Once on this Island, School of Rock and Addams Family Youth@Part. Recent performer credits include Pip in Great Expectations at Town Hall Theatre, Disgraced at San Jose Stage Company, and Romeo in the SF Shakespeare Festivals Educational Tour of R&J . In addition to these, Salim has performed with TheatreWorks, Broadway By the Bay, Altarena Playhouse, Pacific Coast Repertory Theatre, Berkeley Playhouse, Tri-Valley REP, Bay Area Children’s Theatre, Tabard Theatre, Livermore Shakespeare Festival, and SF Shakespeare Festival. Claudia Melo (Sampson/Peter)
Claudia Melo (Sampson/Peter) is delighted to be in her first show with Las Positas College. Claudia graduated from Mountain House High School in 2018, where she played roles such as Stage Manager in Our Town and Bianca in Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew with the Mountain House Actor’s Guild. She is a musician who plays a few instruments and loves to sing. In her spare time, she is either napping or spending time with animals. Claudia wishes to thank Titian Lish for giving her this opportunity.
Bob Lane (Lord Montague)
This is Bob’s third production at Las Positas. After teaching in college in North Carolina and moving to California in 1997, Bob taught drama, including performing Shakespeare, at Cal State – East Bay, in Bay Area high schools, in workshops, and through educational programs for the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival and other organizations. Allegedly retired, Bob divides his time between justice work for the interfaith Faith Alliance for a Moral Economy (FAME), and appearing in local productions. He lives in the East Bay with his wife Sue and their relentlessly playful cat Samson.
Martie Muldoon (Nurse)
Martie Muldoon (Nurse) is delighted to return to Las Positas, where she was last seen in A Comedy of Errors (2014). Martie is a busy performer throughout the Bay Area, most recently seen in Plethos Productions filmed version of ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ (Friar). Favorite roles include Dolly Levi in “Hello Dolly”, Mother Superior in “Nunsense”, and Ethel Thayer in “On Golden Pond”. Martie is on the board of Livermore’s Encore Players, and has been a volunteer and on staff with Livermore Shakes. She is grateful for the opportunity to check off a bucket-list role in this pandemic-age version of “Romeo and Juliet”!
Stephanie Ann Foster (Lady Capulet)
Stephanie Ann Foster (Lady Capulet) earned an MA in Shakespeare Education through the Shakespeare Institute in Stratford-upon-Avon, and her work on sensory explorations has been featured in Teaching Shakespeare Magazine. For four years she toured as an itinerant drama educator (New York, Canada, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Mainland China, and South Korea). She moved to South Korea for the next four years where she worked as the Dramaturg of Seoul Shakespeare Company, led a K-12 drama department, and founded Cut Glass Theatre (their most recent children’s theatre tours include Kodiak Alaska and Merredin Australia). Her most recent directing project was with the youth branch of the American Shakespeare Center, and her favorite acting credits include Rita in Educating Rita, Nora in A Doll's House, and both Lucy and The White Witch in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.
