James and The Giant Peach Cast

Mason Avila is a Freshman at Ketchikan High School. His more recent roles have been Oaken, in First City Players' Frozen JR, Mr Voldy in Kayhi Drama Kings' Puffs, James in Kayhi Drama Kings' Play Production Class of James and the Giant Peach, and currently Musidorus in Kayhi Drama Kings' Head Over Heels. He's excited and ready to act in James and The Giant Peach.

Jojo Robinson, a freshman at Kayhi is the eldest of four sisters. She is a 4th generation born and raised in Ketchikan, Alaska. She's always had a passion for theater and the arts. At age 6, she made her first stage debut as Minnie May in Anne of Green Gables. She has continued to be in First City Player's productions including but not limited to Eurydice and Frozen Jr. As an official Kayhi Drama Club member she’s performed as Megan Jones in Puffs this fall and is excited to be cast as two roles in Almost, Maine.

Oliver Wutzke is a 15 year old student at Ketchikan Highschool and is involved in the Kayhi Drama club and the D&D club. He has been involved in theater since he was 9 years old when he started artscool in the lion king. He has played many roles including but not limited to Shrek JR. as Pinocchio, Secret Garden as Collin, and most recently Puffs as Wayne Hopkins. Oliver is really excited for the absurdity that everyone will be able to watch in Almost Maine.

Kathryn Isner was born and raised in Ketchikan, Alaska. She is currently 17 and is a senior at Ketchikan High School. She participates in activities such as Kayhi Drama Kings and Kayhi Girls Soccer. Kathryn has been doing theater since she was 13 starting with First City Players Ramona Quimby. Some of Kathryns more recent and favorite roles have been Wednesday in The Addams Family, French Narrator in SpongeBob the Musical and she worked as a student director for Puffs. This is her first time working on Set and she is very excited and nervous, Kathryn also plays Sandrine, Gayle and Hope.

I grew up in Ketchikan, AK and I'm currently 18 and enrolled in Ketchikan High School. I’m the Vice President of our Drama Club and I’ve been inducted into the International Thespian Society. I played the Ugly Duckling in Shrek the Musical, The Manager in Elf, The Mayor in Spongebob, and the Narrator in our previous show Puffs. I had 3 roles in Almost, Maine and I hope to teach Drama as a career later in life

Neila found her love for performing on stage at the age of 9, when she was cast as “Sophie,” in the BFG. Since then she has played, “Mary Lennox,” in The Secret Garden; as well as “Matilda,” in Matilda Jr. Most recently, you might recognize her from her portrayal as “Plankton” in last year's Kayhi Drama Kings performance of SpongeBob. Neila is also an accomplished seamstress and was an apprentice costumer for Pippin, back in 2021. She looks forward to learning even more about all aspects of theater, and hopes to continue to perform on stage in future productions.

Melody was born and raised in Ketchikan, Alaska for the last 18 years. She started doing theater when she was 6 years old, where she played in an ensemble in Oklahoma for First City Players. Her Junior year she played Chadwick in Elf the Musical, as well as Buster Blue in Spongebob the Musical. In her most recent plays, she played Uncle Dave and others in Puffs or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic, plus Phil and Glory in Almost Maine. She is also behind the scenes helping design the lights for James and the Giant Peach.

Makayla Harris was born and raised in Ketchikan, Alaska. She is 17 and a junior at Ketchikan High School. In the past she has been in The Sound of Music, Elf the Musical, and SpongeBob the Musical. She started her theatre career in 2nd grade with the Sound of Music and has been very attached to music ever since. Her past characters have been Mrs. Claus, Mr. Krabs, and ensemble for a few others. She’s very excited about people coming to see this performance!!

Trisha is 15 and has lived in Ketchikan, Alaska since she was very little, she was originally born is Scottsdale, Arizona. Trisha’s first experience with theater was in the second grade in the Seussical as a fish for ensemble. Trisha is excited to try something new and expand her knowledge of drama. Almost, Maine is on of her first plays and she is excited to do her first role at Kayhi playing as East.

Abby is 17 years old and was born and raised in Ketchikan Alaska. She is a senior in high school. Abby's first experience in the theater was her 3rd-grade year in the Fawn mountain production of The Jungle Book Jr. Her past experience with the Drama Kings is being in The Spongebob Musical. Abby's plans after graduating this year are to take a gap year and save up money to go to beauty school to learn how to for hair and get better at makeup.

Kylie Parker was born in San Diego, California, after years of living in different places she and her family finally settle in Ketchikan. For as long as she could remember she’s had a love of theater. Kylie has been in, Journey into the West (as the Moon Goddess’s bodyguard), Cryno De Bergerac, (as Cryno) and even Twelfth Night, Modern adaptation (as Feste and Olivia). After taking a 3 year break from drama, Kylie is very excited to spend her senior year doing something she truly enjoys.
