He was last seen at home in KC Melting Pot's production of Lewis Morrow's BAYBRAS TULIPS as Charles "Chucky" Ray and recently seen in the Black Rep Theatre production of AFRICAN COMPANY PRESENTS RICHARD III as "Papa Shakespeare". Jerron O'Neal (Roderick)JERRON O’NEAL is excited to be working with Melting Pot once again! Past KCMPT shows include FENCES, RADIO GOLF, RAISIN IN THE SUN, AIN’T NO SUCH THING AS MIDNIGHT BLACK, and KING HEDLEY II. He has worked in many local theatres with him last being in THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION at the MET KC. Jerron would like to thank his family and friends for their continued support.
Aishah Ogbeh (Claudette)AISHAH OGBEH is an actress that has been part of the KCMPT family since its foundation in 2013. She has been seen in THE SESSION, SUNSET BABY, FOR COLORED GIRLS…, and many other well known plays. Her last time on the KCMPT stage was as Mame Wilks in RADIO GOLF by August Wilson. She is happy to be back at Just Off Broadway to bring life to another show that will be an unforgettable performance.
Mark Collins Jr. (Bennie Jr.)MARK COLLINS JR. is a Kansas City native. He has trained at the Actor Training Studio since 2023 after having a 4 year college football career. He has appeared in several TV & Film productions over the course of the last three years including, Caleb Hearon and Holmes’ SAME DAY APPOINTMENT, 9:16 Productions’ SWIPE WRIGHT, and Wide Awake Films’ PBS documentary SECRETS OF THE DEAD: LOST CIVIL WAR MASSACRE. His love for entertainment and theater began at an early age, but KCMPT gave him his overall theater debut in FAMILY SIDESHOW by Brysen Boyd. He was last seen on the KCMPT stage in DEATH OF A SALESMAN and is happy to be back once again.
Jordan Nevels (Brea)JORDAN NEVELS is a Kansas City native and a 2024 University of Kansas graduate, she received her Bachelor's of General Studies Degree in Theatre Performance and Film and Media Studies. She made her professional theatre debut at The Black Repertory Theatre of Kansas City, portraying Ndidi in JAJA’S AFRICAN HAIR BRAIDING with her starring as Pepper in THE MASK at the historic Folly Theatre following that. Jordan shines both on stage and screen, having written and starred in her senior capstone biopic, TAMMI TERRELL. Her versatile film credits include MABEL, AFTER MIDNIGHT, and TILT, along with notable theatre roles such as Cynthia in SWEAT and Rosie in CABARET. Her commercial work features campaigns for Coca-Cola and Helzberg Diamonds. Recognized for her outstanding performances in film, Jordan earned ‘Best Actress’ at the New York Onioros Film Awards and ‘Best Actress in a Thriller’ at the New York Best Actor & Director Awards. With a blend of talent, dedication, and creativity, Jordan Nevels is a rising star ready to shine. Her last appearance on the KCMPT stage was as Young Laveer Swan in LONG TIME SINCE YESTERDAY. She’s grateful for her loved ones and gives all glory to God.
Donald Paul Jones III (Greg)DONALD PAUL JONES III is a dynamic stage actor known for his commanding presence, emotional depth, and authentic storytelling. A Kansas City native and no stranger to the KC Melting Pot Theatre family, his presence is shaped by real-world experience in education, mentorship, public service, and community empowerment. His performances balance intensity, vulnerability, humor, and wisdom, creating characters that resonate with any audience. Through both theatre and original creative works like 40.4.40, Jones continues to use the stage to inspire connection, reflection, and powerful human truth.
Anaya Morrow (Girl)ANAYA MORROW is from Wyandotte, KS. She has had hands-on training ever since she started performing in 2018 when she joined the KCMPT family. She debuted in AIN’T NO SUCH THING AS MIDNIGHT BACK (KCMPT), and since then starred in the film EPIPHANY by Lewis Morrow. She was last seen on the KCMPT stage in STEW. Anaya enjoys the energy of performing, especially live action and is looking forward to being in future productions.
Tim Burks (Understudy)TIMOTHY BURKS is a Kansas City native and enjoys acting. He was last seen on the KCMPT stage in FENCES. You may also recognize him from other productions like THE PIANO LESSON (KCMPT), STEALING KANDINSKY (WCFTA), FUNNY HOUSE OF A NEGRO (KCMPT), JFK A GHOSTLY EVENING (KCMPT), GOATS SONG (WCFTA), GRAPES VINE (Inplay) and a few others. He is thankful for any opportunity to create and learn from other great actors we have performing here in Kansas City and glad to be a part of this production.
