SOB (Son of a Bot) Story Cast

Neda Nelms Robertson (Gladys Garner)
Neda is a retired elementary teacher who is a native of and still resides in Hornbeck, LA. She has performed in many plays at both the Showboat Theatre at Fort Polk and the Impromptu Theatre beginning in 2005. Neda would like to thank her husband, Dave, for supporting and encouraging her to do what sheI loves, acting. Neda loves God and acting, recognizing that her ability to act and make people laugh comes from Him; she loves her church, family, friends, helping others, cooking, bowling, Scrabble, traveling, fishing, and reading...especially cookbooks. Neda believes that we should always "pay it forward." She enjoys bringing laughter to those around her and hopes that her acting helps ‘take’ the audience to ‘another place’ and helps them forget their problems, as she does, for a little while. The apostle Paul said, “Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them.” Romans 12:6.

Heaven Kennedy (Lizzie Raymond)
My name is Heaven Kennedy, and I teach 2nd grade at Rosepine Elementary School. I graduated from East Beauregard High School and obtained a Master of Education degree from McNeese State University. In my nine year career, I have taught Pre-K through 5th grade, but believe I‘ve found my niche in 2nd grade. My husband teaches at Rosepine High School. He, along with two of our three children, graduated from that school. Our youngest is a senior at RHS this year. Empty nest, here we come! I am always down for an adventure, exploring, being outside, and anything involving my Jeep. My husband and I have completed five of the Jeep Badge of Honor Trails so far and our next trip is already in the works. I’ve been in a couple plays in high school but have never acted in anything of this magnitude. Here’s to doing something every day that scares you. Cheers!
