In Bloom Cast

Sam, a senior theatre major at Hollins, is an actor, stage manager, and playwright with previous credits including Agatha (The Moors), Sibyl (The Picture of Dorian Gray), and Alma (corps: a canniballet).

Lynn-Lee is a junior theatre major, and gender and women's studies minor at Hollins University. Her previous credits at Hollins include Elizabeth Lavenza in Frankenstein, Phoebe in To The Mountains, Kitten in Goodnight Moon, director of CORPS: a canniballet in two acts, and is currently assistant directing CLUE. She has also done run crew for Mill Mountain Theatre's production of Cabaret. Lynn-Lee is very excited for the audience to see this beautiful story of growth, love, and connection. She would like to thank everyone that has supported her through this crazy life!

Megan Corbett is an eigth grader who has been an actor for eight years. She is part of Mill Mountain Theatre Conservatory and Virginia Children's Theatre Youth Professional Ensemble. Her favorite productions she has participated in are James and the Giant Peach, Secret Garden, Madagascar, A Musical Adventure, Cinderella, Addams Family, Velveteen Rabbit, and The Sound of Music. When not busy with rehearsals Megan enjoys babysitting, swimming, and hanging out with her friends. She would like to thank Gwyneth and Michael for giving her the opportunity to be a part of this amazing production.

Wendy-Marie Martin is a playwright, dramaturg, and director as well as the department chair of the undergraduate theatre department at Hollins. She has a Ph.D. in interdisciplinary arts and theatre from Ohio University and an M.F.A. in playwriting from The Playwright’s Lab at Hollins. For over 25 years, Wendy-Marie has taught, directed, and performed in Europe and the U.S. Her work has been produced in Germany, The Netherlands, Australia, Japan, Ireland, and the U.S. and published by Smith & Krauss, Theatrefolk, and YouthPLAYS.

Sadie Maguire is a junior Theatre and Business major. She has been involved in the performing arts for many years, with a focus on dancing, acting, singing, and choreographing. Her past shows at Hollins include the Mouse and Assistant Goodnight Moon, the Magical Musical, and Camille and Choreographer in Corps, A Canni-ballet. She has had such a wonderful time getting to be a part of this show, and is so thankful for everyone who's been a part of the process. Enjoy the show!
