A Midsummer Night's Dream Cast

Titania (Winnie Bosecker)
Winnie is a junior at GMHS. She has previously been involved in Nooses Off!, Persephone Underground, Hammered: a Thor and Loki Play, Les Examables, and The Monologue Show (from Hell) with the Cruiser Theatre Company. She says that it's been great to be around everyone working on A Midsummer Night's Dream, and she's glad that things are getting back to normal because last year was a nightmare. Winnie would like to thank Mrs. McLaughlin for being the best director anyone could as for, and she thanks the entire cast and crew for making everything possible! She also says, "And shout out to Logan for taking the role as my husband, I love you dude!"
Oberon (Logan Boyer)
Logan is a junior at GMHS. She has previously worked with the Cruiser Theatre Company in: The Monologue Show (from Hell) as Morgan; Les Examables as the student director; Hammered: A Thor and Loki Play as Sif; and Persephone Underground as Sophia and Amaryllis. Regarding her experience with A Midsummer Night's Dream, Logan says, "As someone who joined as Oberon a month into rehearsal, it has been a lot of fun playing this kind of role I’ve never had before, and we’ve all been having a lot of fun with this show." She is also in band and choir in addition to theatre. Logan would like to thank her parents for being her ride and always supporting her in all of her extracurricular activities.
Francis Flute (Ember Breedlove)
Ember is a sophomore at GMHS. She has previously appeared onstage in Les Examables, Hammered: A Thor and Loki Play, and Persephone Underground; she also performed in Crimes Square. She has had a ton of fun working on A Midsummer Night's Dream. Outside of theatre, she enjoys drawing and has been getting into doing puzzles. She would like to thank her mom, her dad, and all her friends and family.
Chorus--King's Attendant (Madison Burgess)
Madison is a sophomore at GMHS. She is enrolled in Theatre I with Mrs. McLaughlin, but otherwise this is her first theatrical production. She would like to thank her mom for her support and transportation services.
Helena (Olivia Chaney)
Olivia is a sophomore at GMHS. She has previously performed in Crimes Square, Hammered: A Thor and Loki Play, and Persephone Underground. Regarding A Midsummer Night's Dream, she says, "I have had a fantastic time so far for this production. Everyone has always been so supportive and we are like one big family, plus we got to learn Shakespeare which has been a really good opportunity. Mrs. Mclaughlin has put everything into this show and it has helped lift all of us up." Outside of theatre, Olivia enjoys singing and 4-H, and she has been learning to play the guitar and the piano. She wants to thank God for this opportunity and her family for helping her pursue this and encouraging her. She also wants to thank all of her fellow actors and tech crew; they are all so talented and hardworking, and they push her to do the best that she can.
Snug, Mote (Brooklynn Childers)
Brooke is a sophomore at GMHS. They have previously been involved in our productions of Les Examables, Crimes Square, and Hammered: A Thor and Loki Play. Brooke says their experience with A Midsummer Night's Dream has been interesting, to say the least; there's lots of weird language (re: Shakespeare). Outside of theatre, Brooke is very involved with softball and has been playing for five years. Brooke thanks their friends both in and out of theatre for their support.
Philostrate (Isaiah Coleman)
Isaiah is a junior at GMHS. He has previously performed with the Cruiser Theatre Company in The Monologue Show (from Hell), Hammered: A Thor and Loki Play, Crimes Square, All I Really Need To Know I Learned By Being In A Bad Play, and Persephone Underground. He has enjoyed coming back to work with his thespian friends on A Midsummer Night's Dream. Isaiah is also a student at Eastland Career Center studying Interactive Media. Outside of theatre, he enjoys making scripts for his future projects, writing songs, making music, quoting lines from animated movies, and making videos on YouTube. He'd like to thank the Lord for helping him through a rough time right now, his thespian and band friends who have always been there for him, his family, and Mrs.McLaughlin for giving him a role for this play.
Nick Bottom (Ashton Diendl)
Ashton is a sophomore at GMHS. He has previously played Mr. Tomasino in Les Examables, Odin in Hammered: A Thor and Loki Play, and Hermes in Persephone Underground. Regarding A Midsummer Night's Dream, he says, "Doing a Shakespeare play was definitely a challenge, but personally it's been quite enjoyable and, though at one time I may have been skeptical, I know this will be an amazing way to start the theatrical year!" Ashton would like to thank the fantastic cast he finds himself working alongside.
Tom Snout, Mustardseed (Elias Dooley)
Elias is a freshman at GMHS. This is his first time taking part in a theatrical production. He's very excited to be a part of A Midsummer Night's Dream and he's been having fun, but he's also worried and anxious about this being his first year doing anything theatre related. Elias would like to thank his family and friends for helping and supporting him through this, and he would also like to thank Mrs. McLaughlin for putting this together and giving him an opportunity to be a part of this.
Hippolyta, Peaseblossom (Kylie Eckert)
Kylie is a senior at GMHS. She has performed in several productions with the Cruiser Theatre Company, including Nooses Off!, The Monologue Show (from Hell), and Les Examables. Her experience with A Midsummer Night's Dream has been pretty great; she's proud about how everything is going and she's super excited to see how it turns out! Kylie attends Eastland for culinary arts, and she also enjoys painting and watching Netflix. She says thank you to everyone that’s put so much effort into this show, and thank you for all the people that will come to enjoy it!
Robin Starveling (Mackenzie George)
Mackenzie is a sophomore at GMHS. She has been in four plays with the Cruiser Theatre Company so far: Les Examables, Crimes Square, Hammered: A Thor and Loki Play, and Persephone Underground. Her experience with A Midsummer Night's Dream has been amazing; everyone has been so nice. Outside of acting, she likes to write songs and write books. She wants to thank all of her friends, especially the troupe because they have helped her to come out of her shell. And thank you to Mrs. McLaughlin; she showed me that it doesn’t matter what other people think, it’s how you feel about yourself that matters.
Egeus, Cobweb (Alex Gilden)
Alex is a junior at GMHS. He has been involved in Les Examables, Crimes Square, and Hammered: A Thor and Loki Play with the Cruiser Theatre Company. His experience with A Midsummer Night's Dream has been fun and chaotic as we all try to deal with Shakespeare. Outside of theatre, Alex likes to draw. He would like to thank his mother.

Ava is a junior at GMHS. She has been in a play in second grade, but this is her first high school theatre production.
Chorus--Fairy (Donovan Jones)
Donovan is a sophomore at GMHS. He has previously performed with the Cruiser Theatre Company as Hades' Son in Persephone Underground. Working on A Midsummer Night's Dream has been an amazing experience for Donovan; production has gone well and he loves the cast.
Demetrius (Aidan Kennedy)
Aidan is a senior at GMHS. He has previously been involved in the Cruiser Theatre Company's productions of A Voice in the Dark: A Salem Story, The 9 Worst Breakups of All Time, Shrek: The Musical, Nooses Off!, The Monologue Show (from Hell), All I Really Need to Know I Learned from Being in a Bad Play, Hammered: A Thor and Loki Play, and Persephone Underground. In A Midsummer Night's Dream, Aidan has enjoyed getting to know all the new actors, as well as getting to know the returning ones even better. He's also had fun getting to act Shakespeare, and learning all the unique words used in that time period. It's also been nice playing a character unlike any he's played before. Outside of theatre, Aidan is also involved in marching band, jazz band, and Symphonic Choir, and he's also an Eagle Scout. Aidan would like to thank the cast for making the process of learning Shakespeare much more bearable than it otherwise would be. He would also like to thank Sandro Nuakey for introducing him to theatre, and Jozlin Taylor for helping him fall in love with it.
Robin Goodfellow (Puck) (Alyssa Maree)
Alyssa is a senior at GMHS. She has played a variety of characters across many shows here, including but not limited to Lola in Les Examables, Persephone and Iris in Persephone Underground, The White Rabbit in Shrek, and Flapjack in Everything I Learned I Learned by Being In A Bad Play. Alyssa has enjoyed being a part of A Midsummer Night's Dream; she says, "It's been really fun making fun of Shakespeare. Everyone is hardworking and I couldn't be prouder." Outside of theatre, Alyssa enjoys cheer, reading, and sleeping. She would like to thank her family for all the love and support, the cast and crew for all the laughs, and her mother for all the driving around before she got her license.

Daniella is a sophomore at GMHS. This is her first time participating in a production with the Cruiser Theatre Company.
Lysander (Gavin Prifogle)
Gavin is a junior at GMHS. He has performed with the Cruiser Theatre Company as Chandler in Les Examables, Thor in Hammered: A Thor & Loki Play, Tristan in Nooses Off, Hades' Son in Persephone Underground, and Police Chief/Nick/Judge in Crimes Square. Gavin says, "A Midsummer Night's Dream is a new challenge for me as my first Shakespearean play, but has been a welcome way for me to push past our trouble spots as a troupe and achieve a new chapter in our theater chronicles. I have had the pleasure of working alongside the crew and cast of A Midsummer Night's Dream, and we together have been determined to bring this show into fruition for the eyes of our eager viewers. Great friends, a diligent director, and the amazing people who have our backs; with all of this considered together, I have hope and faith for us as well as the show that we can achieve something truly special with what we do here. It'll make for another great memory in my life." Gavin would like to thank his grandpa for driving him to and from theatre, his grandma for her help, his mother for supporting his endeavors into acting, and his director Mrs. McLaughlin for leading such a great troupe.

Azeriah is a sophomore at GMHS. This is her first time being part of a theatrical production, and she describes her experience with A Midsummer Night's Dream as awesome.
Theseus (Trey Schweikert)
Trey is a junior at GMHS. He has played in multiple shows, such as making his first appearance in "The Monologue Show (From Hell)", playing as Angel; "All I Really Need To Know I Learned By Being in a Bad Play," playing Tybalt; "Les Examables," playing as Barney, Brian, and a member of the ROTC; "Hammered: A Thor and Loki Play," playing as the Jock; and "Persephone: Underground," playing as Theseus. Regarding A Midsummer Night's Dream, Trey says, "Learning Shakespeare pronunciations is... interesting to say the least. However, the cast and crew has been so nice, funny, and it's making this show the best it can be." He would like to thank his fellow cast members for making this play be the ABSOLUTE best it can be. He'd also like to thank his family for letting him have this amazing opportunity to be in the cast, and he'd like to thank Mrs. McLaughlin and the crew for making this play happen.
Peter Quince (Andre Smith)
Andre is a sophomore at GMHS. He has previously been involved with the Cruiser Theatre Company's productions of Les Examables, Crimes Square, and Hammered: A Thor and Loki Play. His experience with A Midsummer Night's Dream has been great--challenging, with the amount of time we've had, but it's been phenomenal. Andre enjoys art, cooking, acting, and gaming. He would like to thank all his cast members, his family, and Mrs. McLaughlin for making this possible.
Chorus--Fairy (Alicia Tharrington)
Alicia is a sophomore at GMHS. This is her first time appearing in a production with the Cruiser Theatre Company. She would like to thank everyone for this experience.
Hermia (Arianna Thomas)
Arianna is a senior at GMHS. She has previously played Frigg in Hammered: A Thor and Loki Play and Persephone in Persephone Underground with the Cruiser Theatre Company; she was also stage manager and did hair and makeup for a production of Aladdin elsewhere. She says this has been one of the more difficult plays she's been a part of, but she's proud of the work she and the rest of the cast have done. Arianna would like to thank the cast and crew who have worked extra hard for this, and of course Mrs. McLaughlin for being amazing at everything she does.

Joi is a freshman at GMHS. This is her first time being part of a theatrical production. She's enjoyed working on A Midsummer Night's Dream and thanks everyone for their support.
