Heist Quest Creative

Student Director
Molly Childs*Molly has been involved in theater for many years, taking on a variety of roles ranging from a peasant to a cheerleader, a wolf, a crab, and many more. This year, when Ms. Keith asked her to be the director, she was very excited. The drama program has been an amazing experience for Molly; the people are incredibly kind, and she has learned many valuable lessons while making numerous friends. She has cherished these experiences and hopes to continue participating in theater in high school next year.

Raina ClarkRaina loves to help with all types of productions and shows! She has helped with previous Grassland shows such as, Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon, Junie B Jones, and of course Heist Quest. Behind the scenes action is just what she loves to do! She also loves tumbling, cheering, and hanging out with her dogs Oakley and Selah! She hopes this show goes well and that everyone breaks a leg!

Stage Manager
Marin TownsendMarin Townsend actively participates in Grassland Middle School Performing Arts. She has contributed as a stage crew for productions like Winter Speculation and The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon and as a tech crew for Junie B. Jones Jr. plays the flute and enjoys running, traveling, and swimming.

Anneliese ColemanMy name is Anneliese Coleman. My favorite colors are green brown and black. I adore theater and all it has to offer. Its like a break from real life. Whenever I'm not doing theater. I'm outside, with my friends, or reading. This production has been so much fun! I hope to be apart of the next.

Production Assistant/Costumes/Make-Up
Keira ObsteinThis will be Keira’s third production at Grassland Middle School. Last year, she served as the dance captain for the winter musical and was a guard/crab in the spring play. This year, she is the production assistant, helping with costumes and makeup. Keira has been dancing competitively at Nashville Dance Center for eight years. She would like to thank her parents for driving her to and from practices and for their unwavering support. She also wants to express her gratitude to her sisters, Finley and Saoirse, for making her laugh every day and for their encouragement. Finally, she extends her thanks to everyone involved in the play or who helped with it, especially Ms. Keith, for making this amazing production possible!

Tech Manager
Findlay PennekampFindlay Pennekamp is a 7th grader and worked as House Manager on The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon. This year, he is the Tech Manager. I love being a part of the play because of the community -- everyone's very nice and funny. I love technology, so I love this position. I'd like to thank my parents for supporting me and making sure I get to all the rehearsals.

Eliza Barnes*This is the first production at GMS that Eliza has participated in. She has had so much fun working on the play with all of the cast and crew and would like to participate in many more shows in the future! James Harrison*James Harrison is happily coming to Heist Quest having worked on the set. Has previously done the spot light in Th Brothers Grimm Speculation last year. Special thanks to Mom, Dad, and Charlie.

Gracie Herrera*Gracie is in 8th grade and was in crew last year for the Brothers Grimm and loved it. She loves being backstage and being part of the crew. She wants to thank her parents for diving her to rehearsal even though sometimes it is difficult.

Zoe AndersonZoe Anderson has worked in Theater for three productions and loves it! She was Set Crew for The Brothers Grimm Speculation, Stage Crew for Junie B. Jones: The Musical, and Stage Crew for this production, Heist Quest. She loves watching TV on Friday nights with her family. Thanks to Mom, Dad, and Seth for being supportive this past week!

Nessa BradleyI wanted to thank my parents for letting me have this amazing opportunity. I also wanted to thank our teacher, Ms. Keith she has helped us in so many ways possible. We are so lucky to have her with us. Even though i do not know many, this is a great opportunity to make friends and have fun on the way!

Gemma BrungerGemma Brunger participated in the Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon the previous year as an usher, and enjoyed greeting people at the door and helping with anything you needed. This year she is in backstage crew helping with making the magic happen in the wings of the theater. Outside of theater she loves reading, traveling, fashion, and eating food from exotic places. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Matthew BurnsThis is Matthew's first year participating in a GMS Preforming Arts production, and is working as an Usher. Even though he has minimal experience he is eager to help in any way possible.

Zachary ChapinI am a 7th grader and I enjoy aviation and have a passion for travel and creativity, I love going places with my family and doing different craft projects. I am a trumpet player for the Grassland Middle School Band and am fond of music. I like playing sports and playing games with my family. Spending quality time with my family and friends is a key in my everyday life, and I am able to participate in my first theater production as set crew here at Grassland Middle School.

Olive CovellThis is Olive Covell. They are a very creative and passionate person. Also, their favorite colors are black, sage green, and lavender. They love being apart of the theatre because it’s a way to connect with others and it’s a very welcoming place to be. Finally they would like to thank their family, friends, and everyone who has supported them.

Caden CunninghamThis is Caden’s second time being a part of a theatre production. His first time was in 4th grade, when he played the lead role in a musical, and this year, he’ll be a member of the set crew for Heist Quest. When he’s not playing Alto Saxophone in the school’s band (and jazz band) or writing poems and haikus for the Grassland Dispatch, the school newspaper, Caden can be found playing Dungeons & Dragons or listening to music.

Olivia HaskinsOlivia Haskins has only started crew this year, but has loved it. Her favorite part was how everyone is so kind. She loves doing makeup in her own time, so the job fits. Thank you mom, dad, and Eleanor!

Sri InampudiSri is in 7th grade this if his very first play. He is currently working as the assistant tech manager. What Sri loves about theater is getting to meet and help everybody. He wants to thank who has supported him.

Evie MerrellEvie is really excited to be part of Heist Quest's stage crew! This will be her second show; her first was Junie B. Jones, The Musical. Outside of theatre, Evie plays soccer, clarinet, and she's looking forward to starting track in the spring. She also enjoys hanging out with her friends. Evie wants to express her gratitude to her parents for supporting all her activities and to her friends for always being there for her!

Quinn PetersonQuinn has been apart of the Grassland theatre crew for 2 shows this is her third. She enjoys being crew because she gets to hangout with the other students and she gets to feel apart of a group and important.She hopes to someday be apart of the the Production Team. Jonah BrattonJonah Bratton is thrilled to be part of Grassland Middle's upcoming production, "Heist Quest." With a passion for theater and a flair for creativity, Jonah has been actively involved in shows requiring stage makeup for the past five years. Jonah has worked with many different people and enjoys working with new and old friends in theatrics. Jonah is excited to continue this journey and can’t wait to share this adventure with the audience, and would like to thank his family, friends, and the best dog in the world Jack, for all of their encouragement and love. Cate CalvertCate is a 6th grader at Grassland Middle School, and this is the first show she has participated in! She is in the crew and she is very excited! When not rehearsing the play, she loves to play softball and volleyball, play her tuba, and hang out with her friends! She would like to thank her mom for making this possible. Cate is very excited and can't wait to see the play come together!

Deora DilmurodDeora Dilmurod has never been this excited for a play! She loves animals, pastel colors, and of course, theater! She is thankful for the support of her friends, family, and pets! This is going to be a great play!

Abby FinchAbby is delighted to be part of Heist Quest as a member of crew. This is her first time getting involved in a production for GMS, so she's really looking forward to being part of Heist Quest. She has not had any previous experience with acting or productions. Abby enjoys reading, baking, playing with her dog, and most importantly annoying her brother in her free time.

Minami IshiiMinami Ishii is very excited to participate in the wonderful play Heist Quest as crew! She has worked in the musical Junie B. Jones as crew as well. She is very excited to do another show as stage crew. She is thrilled for the show and hopes you enjoy it!

Ava KovalI am in Makeup, ( very excited to do so). Its been so cool to watch all of the cast members preform they're all amazing! I am in GMS band I play the clarinet and i love theater, playing and listing to music.

Publicity
Ryman LittleRyman has a love for all things music, arts, and crafts, and she’s excited to be part of the crew for this production! This is her second time working on a Grassland Middle School show, and she’s had a blast helping behind the scenes. She loves being part of the creative process and was able to use her design skills to help with publicity for the play. She can’t wait for everyone to see the hard work the cast and crew have put into the show!

Annabelle McKinneyAnnabelle is overjoyed to be involved with the crew for Heist Quest! This is Annabelle's first production. She also enjoys learning as a 6th grader here at GMS. Some other activities that Annabelle likes to do include playing the baritone, riding her bike, and playing games with family. Annabelle wants to thank her parents for making time to take her to and from all of her activities, and for supporting her in everything she wants to do!

Margo MittigMargo is a sixth grader at GMS and a member of GMS Art Club along with the Heist Quest set crew. She enjoys painting, ice skating, and reading classic books like Little Women. She hopes that everyone enjoys the performance!

Anna TantAnna has a creative spirit, and is excited to be working on this production. This is her first show in theatrical arts, and hopefully many more to come. She also enjoys playing the trumpet for the GMS band and reading.

Mary Drew TorresMary Drew has been in lots of plays, and makes some videos with acting. A lot of the games she likes to play need acting. She also loves to play with her makeup and when she is done it looks amazing.

Director-Resident Drama Queen
Jennifer KeithJennifer Keith is directing her 22nd production at GMS. As a student here, she was involved in several productions under the direction of the late Sandy Sullivan, a true legend in the Grassland Community. After leaving GMS, Ms. Keith attended Franklin High School where she appeared in every major stage production during her four years there. Upon graduation, she studied at the College of Charleston where she majored in Education with a minor in Theatre. She quickly found a home at her former middle school and created the Theatre class the next year. Thank you to all the parents that were so incredibly helpful during the last few weeks, her fellow theatre colleagues, especially Stephanie Winters at HMS, her former students that came back and helped with auditions and rehearsals, and her mom for always being willing to jump in and help at every show. She is so very proud of the cast and crew, and hopes everyone enjoys spending a little time in the Shadow Wilds!
