Heist Quest Cast

Evelyn Cotton is so excited to play the role of Brunhilda in Heist Quest. This will be her 6th production overall and her second and GMS. Some of her favorite roles have been Lost Boy (Peter Pan) and Camille (Junie B Jones). She would like to thank her mom, dad, brother, and two cats for supporting her throughout the show. She also hopes you love Heist Quest!

This is Hudson Barcenilla's fifth show at Grassland Middle School. He has done shows with many other show companies including Starbright players, and Expression city. Favorite roles include, Wesley from Its a Madhouse, and Orcus from She Kills Monsters. Thank you too Jennifer Keith for all the experiences and to Lisa Barcenilla for having a drivers license.

Evelyn has been acting in all the shows at GMS. As she approaches her 8th grade graduation, there's a bittersweet feeling in the air. Each performance has been a cherished part of her journey, filled with laughter, friendships, and unforgettable memories that she will carry with her forever. While she is excited about the new adventures that await her, leaving behind the stage, the camaraderie of her fellow performers, and the supportive community of GMS weighs heavy in her heart. Evelyn’s passion for the arts has not only shaped her as a performer but also enriched the lives of those around her. As she closes this chapter, she holds on to the hope that the friendships and experiences will last a lifetime, making it a farewell filled with both sadness and gratitude.

Winston is in 7th grade and did the play last year as the role of the frog. He has also done theater at Bravo Creative Arts with roles such as Michael (Mary Poppins), Tweedle Dee (Alice in Wonderland), Michael (Peter Pan), and Jojo (Suessical). What Winston loves about theater is getting to meet lots of amazing people. He wants to thank his Parents and everyone who has supported him.

This will be Gray's 3rd production at GMS and 5th production over all. Gray has played Puss in Boots, Jose in Junie B Jones, Elf one in Elf, and now they play Great Uncle Tim in Heist Quest. Thanks to Levi for your support.

Lev Anderson is a 7th grader, and this is her 4th show at GMS! She will be playing the role of the ¨Ambitious Alchemist¨ known as Incendia. Besides taking part in the school productions, she plays the clarinet, writes for the school newspaper (Grassland Dispatch), and plays soccer. Some of her other roles include Lucille from Junie B. Jones and Witch 2 from The Brothers Grimm. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Garrett Sakarapanee is so excited to be Sir Sentry in Heist Quest! This is his 5th and final production as an actor at GMS, but he was involved in all 6. Some of his favorite roles were Mr. Scary (Junie B Jones) Prince 2, (Brothers Grimm) and Fake Santa. (Elf) He likes music, reading and playing video games. He would like to thank his parents for being loving and supporting, and Ms. Keith for making (and letting us be apart of) such great shows!

Sammi loves theater and is super excited for this production. she has been in multiple musicals but never a play so this will be a first for her. she hopes everyone enjoys the show!

Reese is so excited to get to play the role of Peasant One in Heist Quest. She has participated in two other shows with Grassland The GMS Winter Spectacular, and Junie B. Jones the musical. She loves to draw, read, and organize in her free time. She hopes you enjoy the show!

This will be Gigi's fifth show at GMS. You may have previously seen her role as Princess in the Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon, a dancer in The Grassland Holiday Spectacular, Ellen in It's a Madhouse, or Saleswoman/Dancer in Elf! Jr. She is sad to have her final performance here at GMS but very excited to do it with such a special cast. She would like to thank her friends who have been with her since the beginning, the past 7th/8th graders who have shown her the ropes, and her family for always attending her shows.

David Clark has been doing theater since he was Duke of Weselton In Frozen Jr. when he was six. Some of his favorite roles have been Tiny Tim in Nashville Rep's Christmas Carol, and Little Prince in Bravo Boro's Little Prince. He also likes to play minecraft and DnD with his friends.

This will be Avery's second production at GMS (Junie B Jones, May.) She has also portrayed Gaston in Beauty and the Beast, Mr. Wormwood in Matilda, and an Ancestor in Moana. Avery loves playing the piano and clarinet, and she's thrilled for you to see the show. She wants to give a big thanks to her mom for her support in theater.

Audrey Earwood is excited to play Peasant 2 in the spring play Heist Quest. She has also played a School Kid (ensemble) in Junie B. Jones the Musical. She also has participated as a part of the stage crew for last year's (2023-24) fall and spring productions. Audrey plays clarinet and piano as well as playing basketball for GMS. Her favorite thing about being a part of the Grassland Middle School Performing Arts is performing. Thanks to Mom, Dad, and her brother Ethan for being so supportive!!

Vivienne has been acting as long as she can remember, and is excited to do it again. She has been in many productions including the schools Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon and is hoping to do the play again next year. She also has an interest in music and has been in many musicals such as Charlie Brown, Oliver, Beauty and the Beast, and many more. She hopes you enjoy the show.

Jessie is very excited to be a part of Heist Quest. This is her 4th show at GMS, she was in Junie B Jones (Gladys Gutzman), the Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon (dirt merchant, crab person), Holiday Spectacular (crew). Jessie is in 7th grade at Grassland Middle School. For fun, Jessie enjoys playing soccer for school and travel. She wants to thank Ms. Keith for being such an amazing theater teacher. Also she would like to thank the student directors: this show would not go on without them. Lastly she wants to thank her parents, brother, and sister for always supporting her and helping her prepare for the show.

Daniel is in 6th grade and is very excited to make his acting debut as the Executioner in Heist Quest! In his free time, Daniel likes to watch football, play video games, and hang out with friends. He has enjoyed his first theater experience and would like to thank Ms. Keith and his family!

Anna Mosley is in 7th grade at Grassland Middle. This will be her 3rd production with Grassland Middle School! She was in Junie B Jones (as ensemble), The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon (as Fisher Girl), now in the play Heist Quest (as Riley), and at a different company with Bravo in the performance of Shrek the Musical (as ensemble). In her free time she plays her clarinet, draws/paints, reads, and hangs out with friends (more times than she can count!). Anna and the rest of the cast have worked very hard on this production! We hope you enjoy the show!

Maddox Thigpen is a 7th grader at GMS and this is his first time in the cast. Last year, he was in the crew for The Brothers Grimm Spectaculaton. Maddox likes playing video games and enjoys hanging out with his friends. Maddox would like to thank his brother Wyatt for helping him audition to get his role and my mom for helping with the decorations for the play.

AJ McCoy is a 7th grader at GMS and this will be the second play being cast in. He played Dwarf #2 in "The Brothers Grim Spectacular" and currently plays the role of Greg. Behind the scenes, he was also a part of both musicals (Christmas Spectacular and Junie B. Jones) Starting as crew, then advancing to Stage Manager. AJ likes to be active and involved: he likes to play with friends, play sports, play video games, and play the piano...most anything involving PLAY. AJ would like to thank his family, and he would especially like to thank his mom for helping to make his busy schedule work. He would also like to thank Ms. Keith, for working with him and choosing him for the role of Greg.

Matthias is a 7th grader here at GMS. He enjoys traveling and sports. Matthias was born in France and moved to the US in 2018. He is so excited to finally share all the hard work that the entire cast, crew, and production team have put into this play.

This is his second show being here at G.M.S. He was in Junie B Jones cast as Herbert. Now being cast as an interesting role his desire for the stage is well met. He would like to participate in every single show and production to come.

Addison Besch is so happy to be able to be in the cast for this year's spring play! This is her first time being in any production and being here at grassland middle! It has taught her many things like responsibility, to have fun, and to do her best. As she enters high school she is so happy to have this experience. Thanks to Mom, Dad, Emerson, Cameron, and the dogs.

Claire Brebner is very excited to be performing in the Heist Quest play at GMS. She has previously performed in the play Aristocats as an alley cat and performed in a musical theater showcase performance. Outside of theater Claire loves reading, writing, singing and playing clarinet. She wants to thank her family for always supporting her and give a special thanks to her directors for all the hard work they have put into the show!

Ava Dawson is currently a part of the ensemble for the theater production "Heist Quest". This will be Ava's second time being in a production, her first one being part of the ensemble for "Junie B. Jones The Musical JR." Her favorite thing about theater is becoming the character. Ava plays violin and enjoys collecting things. Thanks to Mom, Chad, Lela, and the pets.

Jenna is so excited to be in the program! She has always loved theater and singing. She has been in The Little Mermaid, Joseph and the Technicolor Dream Coat, Wizard of OZ, and many more with the Bravo studios. She loves acting and getting to be in all the fun costumes and to be with all the fun people! She has a more minor role at the moment but hopes to grow her acting skills to get a better role in the future! She is so excited to be in the show and contribute as much as she can!

I am eleven years old and I have been singing in front of people since preschool. I am presently a member of the GMS choir and also a member of the GMS band playing the alto sax. The two most amazing things I have ever done were appear in a couple tv commercials and sing in the recording studio. I would like to thank my family for everything they have done to help me pursue my dreams in the arts. I would also like to thank Ms. Keith and all of the directors that helped make this play amazing.

Ilyana, also known as Ily, is so excited for everyone to see this show. She is really excited because this is her first play or musical. On top of acting, Ily loves softball, and is on the schools varsity softball team. Ilyana hopes you enjoy the show!

Emmaline is an artsy and fun performer who is thrilled to perform in ensemble . She has done dance recitals and singing performances and even some band concerts. Emmaline uses a wheelchair to get around and wants to make theater a more accessible environment for everyone. She wants to say thanks to mom, dad, Kara and Emilie for getting her here.

Casey is a 6th grader at Grassland Middle School, and this is the first show she has participated in! She is in the ensemble and gets to be a tavern patron, stone figure, and dead body. She is very excited! When not rehearsing the play, she loves to play softball and basketball, play her tuba, and hang out with her family and friends! Casey is very excited and can´t wait for opening night!

Laney is excited to be part of her school's next production of Heist Quest, where she takes the role of being in ensemble. Following her performance as Bobbie Jean Piper in Junie B. Jones, she's thrilled to continue her theater journey. When she's not on the stage, Laney loves playing softball, creating many arts and crafts, and spending time with her friends and family.

Hagen Self will be making her first ever play debut. She was ensemble in the fall musical, but has never once been in a play. Hagen is in Band, and in Student Council, and plays Softball, Basketball, and Volleyball. Her favorite thing about this play is watching it all come together. Thank you to my whole family, and for everyone participating/helping in the play.
