Jessica Murray
Ms. Murray has been teaching high school Theatre and Dance for 20 years and is in her 12th year at Grant. She has directed & choreographed over 25 musicals. She has BFA in Theatre Performance and a Masters of Education. Jessica runs the full curricular Dance program at Grant, with 3 full shows a year, including GRANTASIA, co-teaches Stagecraft with Technical Director Marjorie Anderson,, and annually directs & choreographs the musical. She is also on Grant's Instructional Leadership Team and serves as the Performing Arts Dept. Lead. Ms. Murray shares two kids (8 & 16) with her husband and frequent collaborator, Colin.

Marjorie Anderson
Marjorie has worked in theater, dance, opera and education for over 30 years. Credits include: Lucinda Childs Dance Company, Lily Tomlin’s Search for Signs Intelligent Life in the Universe, Opera Ensemble of New York, (Jonathan Tunick, Conductor), Laura Dean Dancers and Musicians, Portland Opera, IATSE Local 28, Oregon Children’s Theater, The Right Brain Initiative, Roseway Heights Middle School, Oregon Ballet Theatre, Orpheus PDX, and Grant High School. She has also raised two brilliant and beautiful daughters, Grace and Sarah, who both attended Grant High.

Co-Director / Sound Designer
Colin Murray
Colin has been working in educational and professional theatre as an actor, singer, director, and technical director for 30 years. He holds a Masters of Fine Arts in Theatre Directing and a Masters in Education. He has worked at U of P and Reed College as Theatre Faculty, as well as at Sandy and Oregon City High Schools. Colin and his wife, Jessica, have worked creatively together many times and he is happy to join the Grant team for this production.

Christina Byrne
Chris is thrilled to be costuming her third show for Grant High School, She has thoroughly enjoyed working with amazing staff and talented students! She has costumed shows for several community theaters and is the costume supervisor for Twilight Theater Company and Theater in the Grove. When not costuming, she’s busy directing shows at multiple theatre companies across the Portland Metro area.

Musical Director
John Gladen
John Gladen is a musician and educator based in Portland, Oregon. He has performed with various ensembles including Nexus, In Medio, and the Portland State University (PSU) Chamber Choir. He is currently on the roster of the Oregon Repertory Singers, the Northwest Vocal Arts Chamber Choir. John holds both a Bachelor of Music Education and a Master of Education from PSU, showcasing his dedication to both musical artistry and teaching. His experience spans a wide range of musical genres and styles, allowing him to bring a dynamic and inclusive approach to his performances and leadership. John’s passion for choral music and community engagement is evident in his work, where he continually seeks to inspire both his audiences and fellow musicians. Through his roles as conductor, performer, and educator, John Gladen contributes meaningfully to the vibrant music scene in the Pacific Northwest
Sound Engineer & FOH Mix
Noah Bunker
Noah is a Grant High alum and played percussion for the Grant Band all 4 years of high school, also playing i the pit for The Spongebob Musical. Since graduating he has gone on to a professional career in Sound Engineering working ofr Rose City Sound and many major events. He is happy to come back to Grant to work with the Production staff and the students.
