Director/Designer

Kirsten Giard

Ms. Giard has been working at Granite Hills since the Fall of 2019. She taught theatre and directed over 100 productions at Valhalla High School in the Grossmont District from 1991 to 2014. She has also taught at Emerald Middle School, Chaparral High School and IDEA Center High School. Ms. Giard has directed and designed for numerous Community Theatre Companies including Lamplighters, Pickwick Players and Coronado Playhouse.

Technical Director/Designer

Dustin Holum

Dustin is a graduate of the University of California at San Diego with a BA in Theatre with an emphasis in Theatrical Design. He has worked in TV, film, theatre, concerts and corporate live events. Some of his projects include Walt Disney Animation Studios, Disneyland, NFL Superbowl, Qualcomm, DirecTV, Callaway Golf & Pyro Spectaculars. He is currently a Project Manager for Bycor Construction.

Mike Kenny, Playwright

Mike Kenny is one of the England's leading writers, specializing in young people's theatre. He is the recipient of numerous awards, was included in the Independent on Sunday's list of Top Ten Living UK Playwrights and his plays are performed regularly throughout the UK and all over the world. In 2013 he was given an Honorary Doctorate of Letters by Nottingham University, England.

Edith Nesbit, Author Railway Children.

Edith Nesbit was an English author and poet; she published her books for children under the name of E. Nesbit. She wrote or collaborated on more than 60 books of children's literature. She was also a political activist and co-founded the Fabian Society, a socialist organisation later affiliated to the Labour Party.
