The Rocky Horror Show Cast

Becca Smootz (Usherette)
Bex is excited to be taking a jump to the left with the GBT once again. She was previously seen on the Lockhart stage in Crimes of the Heart, Godspell, 9 to 5, and most recently in Matilda as Mrs. Phelps. Bex encourages everyone reading this to do the following when they leave the theatre: find a local charity that supports LGBTQIA+ and do what you can to help, drink more water (however you can), and tell someone who needs to hear it (maybe even yourself) that they are loved.
Katilin Deeb (Janet Weiss)
You might recognize Kaitlin from earlier this year in GBT’s production of Pride & Prejudice as the stubborn & independent Lizzy Bennet. Now, she’s over the moon (& also at the Frankenstein place) to be stepping into the heels of our damsel turned diva, Janet Weiss. Kaitlin would like to thank the entire cast & crew for putting in so much hard work; the talent of this group is truly unmatched. She also wishes to extend gratitude to her friends & family, but most importantly to the love of her life, Nicki, who is her constant in all of the chaos. Kaitlin hopes this show encourages everyone to let their hair down and celebrate the weird, the wild, and the wonderful in all of us. We each have a little creature of the night lurking deep within. Kaitlin’s performance of Janet Weiss is dedicated to her late vocal teacher & resident Rocky (s)expert, Peter Lopez. She’ll be thinking of his infectious laugh during every “slut!”
Brendan Thomas (Brad Majors)
Brendan is ecstatic to be making his Gaslight Baker Theatre debut with The Rocky Horror Show! He received his BFA in Performance and Production from Texas State University in 2023, and has been performing since he was little. He was recently seen in Sweeney Todd at the Wimberley Playhouse. Some notable credits include Emmett Forrest in Legally Blonde (Wimberley Playhouse), and Rocky in The Rocky Horror Show (Texas State University). This show and movie are very near and dear to his heart, and he can’t wait to share this production with you! Shoutout to his wonderful family and friends whose unwavering support he wouldn’t be here without, and to the talented cast and production team for their dedication to this piece. Enjoy the show! Kaley Bared (Columbia)
The Rocky Horror Show is Kaley’s Gaslight- Baker Theatre Debut and she couldn't be more thrilled for the opportunity. Kaley is a Curl Specialist at Willow and Ivy Salon and Spa, and has been involved in the arts since she was three years old when she first started dance classes. At nine years old, she became an actor and hasn't looked back. Now at 24 and with 5 instruments under her belt, music and the arts have shaped her into who she is today. Some of her favorite shows include choreographing Sweeney Todd, Marty in Grease, Natalie in All Shook Up, and Mimi in A Comedy of Tenors. In her free time, Kaley loves to roller skate, game, sing with friends, and do arts and crafts! She can't wait for you all to rock out in the sexy, slutty world of Rocky Horror!
Alye Lombard (Magenta)
Alye is thrilled for her debut in her first musical theatre production, and to be playing the deliciously deranged Magenta. By day, she is a registered nurse managing an intensive care unit, but by night she’s been perfecting her maniacal laugh, sinister glares, and doing the Time Warp again (and again). The Rocky Horror cast and crew have made her first theatre experience unforgettable, and she is endlessly grateful for their brilliance, kindness, and for igniting a whole new love of the stage. Endless love to her family, friends, partner and castmates for cheering her on—especially Justin, her Frank-N-Furter, for the support and laughs along the way. She’s lucky, you’re lucky, we’re all lucky!
Justin Whitley (Dr. Frank-N-Furter)
Justin is thrilled to be walking a mile in Dr. Frank N Furter’s pumps in his return to the Gaslight Baker stage. His past favorite roles include Something Rotten (Shakespeare), The Mousetrap (Christopher Wren), and Grease (Doody). When not in fishnets, he works full time as a nurse practitioner. He would like to thank and send all his love to this amazing cast and crew, his dear friend - Alye (Magenta), and his theater widow - Zack. Finally, he would like to invite you to sit back, relax and experience the antici….PATION.
Wade Smith (Rocky Horror)
Wade Smith is honored to play his dream role for the first time! A lover of performance and production alike, Wade’s very first technical credit at fourteen was spotlight operator for the Rocky Horror Show at the local theatre in his hometown Clarksville, Tennessee. Wade would like to thank his darling Hayden for eight years of singing this musical with him and patiently listening to his incessant rambling. He is grateful for his loved ones and boyfriend for their love and understanding, and keeping him safe from his troubles and pain. In addition, he couldn’t have asked for a more star-studded company! Wade is humbled every day by the brilliance and kindness of each and every artist on this production. Finally, trans liberation now, protect immigrants, and free Palestine. Do not let this show’s messages slip through your fingers, rise up against fascism, and tell your people you love them!
Xander Bien (Eddie)
Xander Bien is pinching themselves to make sure this is real! They can’t believe they get to be apart of yet another brilliant Baker production, and it’s Rocky Horror of all shows! Along with Rocky, Xander had the joy of being in, and choreographing, Matilda the Musical over the summer, as well as hootin’ and hollerin’ in the production of 9-5 two years ago. A hundred million thank you’s to all the incredible members of the crew, production team, and brilliant creators that made this show possible! Xander hopes you will enjoy this most outrageous production, filled with queer pomp and campy circumstance.
Mike D'Alonzo (Dr. Scott)
Mike D’Alonzo is thrilled to be doing his first show with GBT. Recently, he performed as ‘Mysterious Man’ in ‘Into the Woods,’ for the Chambers Theater, as well as ‘Ebenezer Scrooge’ in ‘A Christmas Carol.’ He also played ‘Pozzo’ in ‘Waiting for Godot’ at Hyde Park Theatre in 2024. Mike has also been doing improv in the area for over 20 years, and is a member of ‘The Knuckleball Now,’ which just celebrated their 20th anniversary, and ‘Gravy Shakes,’ which celebrated their first in Buda. He would like to thank this amazing cast, who have become a weird little family. And, most importantly, he’d like to thank his actual family. His wife, Andreanna, and his son David, who beat him to the GBT stage as ‘Tommy’ in ‘Matilda.’
Diego Andres Arriga (Phantom Bubbles)
Diego Arriaga is absolutely thrilled to be working with the Gaslight-Baker Theatre for the first time ever. Being a fan of Rocky Horror and participating in ensembles, he is particularly excited for his role as a Phantom. Earlier this season in the Summer of 2025, Diego appeared in The Wedding Singer Musical where he danced his little heart. Outside of his engagement with performing arts, he works on the web-apps team for McCoy's Building Supply as a Software Developer. As unrelated to the performing arts as his professional background might seem, he claims it to be instrumental in his acting process as it provides him with the right headspace. It also covers the cost of his dance classes. He'd like to give a special thanks to his directors, instructors, and fellow actors (current and previous) as each interaction has been a building block towards his expertise as a performance artist.
Harmony Austin (Phantom H-Bomb)
Harmony Austin is thrilled to be back on stage at the Gaslight-Baker in Rocky Horror! Harmony has her BFA in Theatre Performance and Production with an Emphasis in Dramatic Writing from Texas State University and has been a proud resident of San Marcos ever since! When not on stage, Harmony can be found in the garden, playing with puppets, or working at the Hays County Clerk’s Office as a Civil and Probate Deputy Clerk. Harmony would like to thank her family, the cast and crew of Rocky Horror, and all her lovely colleagues from Hays County for putting up with her wacky hijinks.
Laomai Cherry (Phantom Cherry)
This is Laomai’s fifth musical with the Gaslight Baker in the past four years and she has enjoyed every moment! 18, she is pursuing her degree in Humanities via LSU online and plans to obtain a Master’s in Theatre Education or Acting. Mick Garvey (Phantom Twyla)
Mick Garvey is thrilled to be making his full stage debut in such a delightfully quirky show here at the Gaslight-Baker Theater. A local multi-instrumentalist, he’s performed around Lockhart, and you may have seen him in the musical pre-show for last year’s Best Christmas Pageant Ever. She would like to thank her friends and most especially her husband, Bob, for all the love and support.
Rose Ruiz (Phantom Louise)
Rose is thrilled to make her Gaslight Baker Theatre debut as a Phantom alongside her handsome husband Roy and faithful wig Clarissa. She could not have asked for a more talented and supportive cast and crew with which to make her return to the stage after a long hiatus. When she is not doing the time warp you can find Rose working at her jeweler’s bench or reading a mystery novel.
Roy Ruiz (Phantom Nancy)
Roy is excited to be a part of The Rocky Horror Show! His last appearance on stage was in 2016 in Agent Andromeda: The Orion Crusade in Austin, Texas as an ensemble aerialist. He’s super excited to return to the stage with such an amazing and supportive cast and crew! Roy would like to thank his wife Rose(also a Phantom) for getting him back to performing and having fun!
Ashley Rose (Phantom Ophelia)
Ashley has been performing since she was a little girl, doing everything from ballet and jazz to hip hop, modern dance, and a lineup of musicals (her favorite role being the sassy Cha-Cha in Grease). She loves to sing, dance, and help bring performances to life—and Rocky Horror is a particularly wild and “phantom-tastic” show to be part of. It’s been an absolute honor for her to serve as Dance Captain for this production, making sure everyone’s pelvic thrusts are perfectly in sync. When she’s not on stage, Ashley can usually be found homeschooling her kids, gardening, or soaking up the river life. She sends big thanks to her family for all their support—especially Josh, who makes sure she never enters the stage without snacks.

Past credits include Elvira in Blithe Spirit, Anybodys in West Side Story, and many other live theatre performances and short films. She is also the funniest and sexiest person ever. Artemis dedicates this performance to all the freaks of the world. As Missy Elliot once said, “Get your freak on.”

Samantha is honored to make her debut at GBT. Having recently portrayed Lady Eugenia in Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder at the Bastrop Opera House, she is excited to continue her passion for music and theatre. She is thankful for her family nurturing her love of music and theatre as well as the love and support of her boyfriend, Michael. In her free time she likes to read any book she can get her hands on.
Dana Yarger (Phantom Pam)
Dana is thankful to be cast as a phantom and has accepted that he will never be able to replicate the shotgun scene in "Misery" (Halloween 2024). His previous appearances include "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever", "Something Rotten", and "9 to 5, the Musical." Dana would like to thank his family in other parts of the U.S., the cast and crew of "Rocky Horror Show," and his colleagues at TXDOT in Austin. This is dedicated to the memory of his late Aunt Vicky and to Ozzy Osbourne.
