Director
Miranda MartinezMiranda Martinez is an emerging director and versatile theatre practitioner from South Texas. Miranda graduated from Texas State University with a BFA in Performance and Production and has been involved in different aspects of theatre for over a decade. Miranda believes in a people-first mentality when it comes to her practice, and strives to have that be the base of all their work. Her latest production was ‘Somewhere: A Primer for the End of Days’ at the Gaslight. You may have seen some of their other work with the Broke Thespian’s Theatre Company’s previous productions of ‘Hedda Gabler’ and ‘Murder’s in the Heir’. Her play ‘Wallpaper’, a dramatic adaptation of The Yellow Wallpaper, was produced at the Great Salt Lake Fringe Festival in 2021. Miranda currently works as a technician at the Austin ISD Performing Arts Center and looks forward to starting their master's journey at ASU for Directing next fall. Assistant Director/Stage Manager
Ava GarciaAva Garcia is a new up and coming director. Her first directorial debut was for the Broke Thespians Theatre Company’s 24 hour festival in 2024. She has also directed a 10 minute play Without Tongue at Texas State University for her Directing 2 course. She is ecstatic to be working on her first full stage play as assistant director for Pride and Prejudice.

Assistant Stage Manager
Jade JacoboJade Jacobo is delighted to be working with Gaslight-Baker theatre! Her love for the theatre developed in high school, and she is very excited to be working with director Miranda Martinez. She has recently graduated from Texas State University with a degree in Mass Communications. She is interested in pursuing a career in writing.

Co-Sound Designer
Angel EstradaAngel Estrada is thrilled to make their debut at the Gaslight Theatre! A proud Austin, Texas native, Angel has always had a passion for audio and music, which has driven their work in production across a variety of shows in recent years. This is their first time working on a production outside their current venue, and they’re excited to expand their skills and learn more about audio in the world of theatre. Angel thanks the cast, crew, and audience for making this experience unforgettable!

Lighting Designer
Micah BurtonMicah is excited to be joining such a talented team in this production of Pride and Prejudice. She’s helped with multiple productions at the Gaslight-Baker, including multiple Vaudevilles, kids camps, and Elf: The Musical.

Costume Designer
Lauren GaurenzuayLauren Garanzuay is a costume designer, stitcher and wardrobe technician based in San Antonio, Texas. She recently graduated from Texas State University with a degree in Technical Production. Favorite Texas State Credits include: The Wolves (Costume Designer), Rent, and Into the Woods (Wardrobe Supervisor). Other favorite credits include: In the Heights, James and the Giant Peach, and Sense and Sensibility at Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival (Dresser), and Lyric and the Keys at the Magik Theatre (Stagehand). She hopes you enjoy the show!
