Kaitlin Deeb (Lizzy Bennet)After almost ten years, Kaitlin is so incandescently happy to be returning to the stage to bring her dream role to life. She’d like to extend her deepest gratitude to her director, Miranda, her cast & crew, & her loved ones for taking a leap of faith on her and filling her life with the best kind of joy. Kaitlin hopes Lizzy’s spirit inspires you to find the balance in choosing your path and relinquishing control, while still enjoying the ride. Sometimes life will surprise us. Now come come come! Grant Savoy (Mr. Darcy)Grant Savoy is thrilled to be part of Pride & Prejudice at the Gaslight-Baker Theatre! A Lockhart resident for the last nineteen months, he is excited to resume entertaining his new hometown from the stage. As Mr. Darcy, this is his second consecutive appearance at the GBT after appearing in the Best Christmas Pageant Ever in 2024. Grant is excited to bring the aloof Fitzwilliam Darcy to life for you.
Brenda Salas (Jane Bennet)Brenda Salas is a graduate of Texas State University with a BFA in Theatre Performance. Some of Brenda’s favorite past productions include Into the Woods (Little Red), Heathers (Veronica), El Nogalar (Maite), Lydia (Lydia), Somewhere (Cassandra) and Comedia de Errores (Adriana). Brenda is so deeply grateful to be a part of this show! Le gustaría darle mil gracias a su familia e Anastacio por quererla tanto y apoyarla en sus sueños. Thank you to the wonderfully talented cast and crew, and our fearless leader Miranda for her passion and hard work, it’s been a joy working with you all on such a fun production. Enjoy the show!

Laomai Cherry (Mary Bennet)Laomai has been participating in shows and various camps at the Gaslight-Baker for around five years, in shows such as Annie Get Your Gun, several Vaudevilles and USO Shows, Elf: The Musical; Something Rotten, and many others. You may have last seen her as Cyndi Lauper or Fozzie Bear in 2024 ‘s USO Military Tribute Show. She is currently a sophomore at LSU online, studying Humanities, and when she’s not at the theater she enjoys songwriting, music, and reading. Many thanks to Miranda and Ava for their kindness and direction, my family for their love and support, and best friends Olivia and Abby for the constant encouragement.
Cora LaCoss (Lydia Bennet)Cora LaCoss is thrilled to be performing her first show at the Gaslight Baker Theatre! Cora is a current freshman at Texas State University majoring in Communication Disorders, with eventual plans to be a speech language pathologist concentrating in voice disorders. She has always had a passion for performance, and cannot wait to share the stage with her cast mates in Pride and Prejudice!
Francine Olguin (Mrs. Bennet)Francine has appeared in some form on the GBT stage since’s its creation in 2008. She was most recently seen in last year’s The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. Francine is so proud and humbled to be a part of this amazingly talented cast and thanks Miranda for this opportunity! Favorite past shows at the GBT include: The Cover of Life, Sirens, Panic, A Doll’s House, Cheaper by the Dozen, Cemetery Club, The Moors, Crimes of the Heart, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, and Frankenstein.
George O'Connor (Mr. Bennet)George is not a newcomer to theater. He and his wife Sherry have been involved in over 50 productions
over the last 36 years. Some of his favorite roles are Rick Steadman in The Nerd at Waco Civic Theater,
Charlie Baker in The Foreigner at Midland Community Theatre, Dr. Einstein in Arsenic and Old Lace at
Roswell Village Theatre in Atlanta, GA. He is currently playing Mr Bennett in GBTs production of Pride
and Prejudice. Since graduating from UT Austin with a BFA in Drama, he also has extensive experience in
directing, design and set construction. He has also found work in film and television productions, most
recently in Fear the Walking Dead.
Camp Odom (Charles Bingley)
Story Sudik (Caroline Bingley)Story is a proud graduate of Texas State University where she studied Theatre Education. She has been teaching theatre at Lockhart Junior High School since 2021 and has fallen in love with the Lockhart community. This is her first GBT production and it has been a dream to return to the stage to tell a story she loves so much. She would like to give special thanks to the incredibly talented Miranda for her vision and leadership through this process, to the amazing cast and crew she has worked with and befriended on this journey, and to the Ramirez Family for supporting an out of towner on those late rehearsal nights! Madelynn Henson (Charlotte Lucas)Madelynn Henson is ecstatic to make her GBT debut in Pride and Prejudice. She started performing in live theatre at the age of eight and has simply never stopped. When Madelynn is not on stage, she is finishing her Masters in Research Psychology at Texas State University with the goal of becoming a child psychologist. She is honored to be a part of the magic found in a story of societal duty, social class, and of course romance. Madelynn would like to thank the director Miranda for entrusting her in this role, as well as her friends and family who support her dreams.
Bran-Ivan Castillo (Mr. Wickham)Bran Ivan Castillo is a recent Texas State, Theatre Performance graduate, and this is their second time performing in a Gaslight-Baker production. Bran's previous works include; Abel in Fade (TXST JTLT), Rector Sonnenstich in The Awakening of Spring (TXST JTLT), Eph in Somewhere (Gaslight Baker).
Bran’s other endeavors include debuting their play Vaquero at the Texas Association for Chicanos in Higher Education, and winning the Audience Choice Award in the James W. Price 10-Minute Play festival for their play Space be Damned. Bran’s ecstatic to get to work with Miranda, Brenda, and Anastacio again; they want to thank their mom, siblings, and partner – Ash –for always dealing with them, and feeding their delusions.
Anastacio Gutierrez (Mr. Collins)Anastacio Gutierrez studied Acting in Texas State’s BFA Acting Program. Some of Anastacio’s past productions include El Nogalar (Lopez) Lydia (Alvaro) Bunco State (Vincent Bunco) and Ice Box (Marco). Anastacio is very happy to be part of this show and would like to give a very special thanks to Brenda Salas for all her love and support. Big thanks to the cast, crew, and director Miranda for their hard work and dedication. It’s been such a great time! Enjoy the show!
Sherry O’Connor (Lady Catherine DeBourgh)Sherry is also no newcomer to theater, having been involved in many productions in theaters all over
Texas and Georgia. Some of her favorite roles include Miss Hannigan in Annie and Yenta in Fiddler on
the Roof at Waco Civic Theater, the Widow Paroo in Midland Community Theater's production of The
Music Man, Veta Louise in Harvey at Village Center Playhouse in Atlanta, Ethel Savage in The Curious
Savage at Waco Civic Theater and Ginger Brooks in The 1940s Radio Hour at Clear Creek Country
Theater in Houston. In addition to her many acting roles, she has worked as a scenic artist and stage
manager. She is a visual artist and is currently playing Lady Catherine in Pride and Prejudice here at GBT.
Anne DeBourgh (Harmony Austin)
Jaimie Couch (Servant)Jaimie is excited to be in her 2nd performance at the Gaslight Baker Theater after joining the community as an ensemble member of "Something Rotten". She has a music education degree from Southwestern University and is excited to be in her first stage play (without any singing). Many thanks to her family and friends who continue to support her and encourage her to try new things.
