About Anne of Green Gables - The Musical

Based on the classic Anne of Green Gables, by L.M. Montgomery, tells the tale of an orphan girl who finds happiness on the farm of the Cuthberts by virtue of her spunk and personality. Anne's adventures at Green Gables are both comical and heartwarming. 

“Anne of Green Gables – The Musical™ started life as a TV musical adaptation, originally premiering on CBC Folio in 1956. Anne of Green Gables – The Musical™ premiered on the mainstage at Charlottetown Festival, becoming a perennial favorite for all those who visit Canada's Prince Edward Island. The production (which underwent significant changes in 2011) has run every year since its stage inception, and has been recognized by Guinness World Records as the Longest-Running Annual Musical Theatre Production. The musical premiered in London in 1967 and at New York City Center in 1972.” Concord Theatricals 

Fresta Valley Christian School

Fresta Valley’s drama club is open to all students in the seventh through twelfth grades. Its goal is to reclaim the performing arts for God’s glory by staging both secular and religious works with positive themes in an edifying fashion.  Performing popular, well-written, and time-honored pieces allows students to exercise their dramatic talents while gaining an appreciation for the creative talents God has given both Christian and non-Christian playwrights and composers.
