Passport to Christmas, a New Musical by Eric C. Jones, with music by Joshua Davis Cast

Jason E. Carmichael is an award winning writer and actor (2023 Houston Press Theatre Award for Best Actor) from Houston, TX. He graduated with a BFA in Theatre from Howard University and lived in Los Angeles for twenty years before returning to his hometown. Jason has worked in movies (Hope, Caught Up), television (NYPD Blue) and appeared onstage to critical acclaim in numerous productions (Othello, Fences, Paradise Blue, Twelfth Night, Black Superhero Magic Mama, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, To Kill a Mockingbird, Tied: A One Man Play). He is Voice of Darkness for The Department of Wonder and can be seen in commercials for Ranch Rider Spirts as well as the upcoming feature film Tonic. *Member of Actors Equity Association.

Kevin Lampson has enjoyed acting since his time as a member of his high school theater club. A creative with an entrepreneurial spirit, Kevin is a versatile actor who has filmed, edited, produced, and acted in his own music video. Kevin continues to develop his talents including singing, dancing, and honing his announcer voice. Lampson looks forward to using his gifts to serve God.

Is a Houston Native whom you may recognize from Christmas is Coming Uptown (2018) as Ghost of Christmas Future or as a Temptation in A Motown Christmas (21’ & 22’) at The Ensemble Theater. Aaron attended Sam Houston State University majoring in Musical Theater Performance. He has also starred in feature films such as Changes (Chad) with TRIWEN PRODUCTIONS, and featured as an undercover cop in Don't Shoot starring Omar Gooding and Billy Sorrels directed my Justin Milton. His credits also include The Wild Party (Mr. Black) with PMT Entertainment, Macbeth (Macbeth) LSC North Harris, Hairspray (Seaweed) & countless more. Candace Blanks is extremely proud to be a part of the, "Passport to Christmas" Cast. This is her first production with Exalted Arts and looks forward to doing many more. Candace's acting career started in high school, where her theatre teacher Mrs.Camble Bailey, encouraged her to pursue acting. Candace won various UIL competitions in Prose, Poetry, Speech and Debate and Oratorical writing that continued into college. She currently hosts the Tv show "Healing For The Broken", and serves as a Community Outreach Coordinator and Minister. The actress has been in various productions were she played lead roles such as Sister Melony in "Shout Hallelujah," Virginia Patterson in "Why Am I Here," and Charlotte in "Wrath of A Broken Man" just to name a few. She has other upcoming projects for 2023 and will be making her Director’s debut next year. Candace is very grateful to God, her husband, children, cast and crew, the directors and supporters for their love and encouragement.

Reyna is a multi-faceted artist from Houston, TX who fell in love with the performing arts at a young age. She began to pursue acting professionally after the passing of her mother to colon cancer. Since then she has appeared in commercial, film, television, voiceover, and theatrical productions. She also is an educator who loves to dance, sing, and train in stunts. Reyna desires a lifetime career dedicated to storytelling and bringing authenticity to humanize every role she undertakes.
