Kristina has been the Financial Director of The Empty Space since 2007, directing numerous productions, including Spring Awakening, Cabaret, The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, Angels in America, and The Last Five Years. She has also written and created a number of musical revues and original productions, including The Role I Was(n't) Born to Play (1-4), The Subject Is, and A Very Empty Christmas. Kristina is an administrative coordinator at CSU Bakersfield where she works in the Department of Music and Theatre. She would like to thank you for your continued support of The Empty Space over the years.

Jeremiah is excited to be working with such a talented group of individuals for his return to directing. Past directing credits include The Altruists, The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, Reefer Madness: The Musical, and Stone Cold Dead Serious. Jeremiah received his Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from the University of California, San Diego and currently serves as the Executive Director of The Empty Space. He would like to thank you all for coming and hopes that you enjoy the show.

Jennifer is so happy to be back at it after a crazy year and the birth of her daughter! Her most recent work was seen in Crazy for You at Stars and The Wedding Singer at The Empty Space. Skiby spends her days teaching dance & serving as the Dance Director for American Dancers Workshop here in Bakersfield. Skiby would like to thank The Empty Space for creating a safe & welcoming environment for all, Jeremiah and Kristina, the entire cast, and her amazing husband Josh for always supporting her!

Vanessa is excited to be stage managing The Full Monty and has great respect for her cast and crew’s dedication during these times. She especially wants to give a big thank you to Kristina Saldaña for giving her this opportunity to extend and strengthen her craft. When she isn’t on or behind the stage, you can find her with her nose in a book.

Manuela (she/her/they) was in Empty Space productions as a teen and graduated from UCLA with a BA in Gender Studies. Manuela is honored to be a first-time Assistant Stage Manager on one of the first Empty Space productions since the pandemic. Manuela is also grateful Kristina and Jeremiah foster a safe environment for the actors and crew to engage in a play as bold as The Full Monty. When she’s not at the theater, Manuela watches a film per day, reads, writes, directs her life, and spends time with the pets and kids of her extended family. Manuela loves her community of Bakersfield artists and creatives and hopes you enjoy the show.
