Merlin Durhman (Lin Clark)
Lin has been acting since they were in middle school. She has been in a few different stage productions including Gilligan’s Island and A Chorus Line. Lin is an inducted Thespian in the International Thespian Society. She is currently a junior in highschool and is in the advanced drama class at Empire. They love to act and sing and love being a part of the theatre program. Lin is looking forward to any shows they can be a part of in the future.
Don Casey (Connor Carney)
is a senior and has been a part of the Empire Theatre Program since he was a freshman. He has been involved in both acting and tech throughout high school and has loved being a part of the troupe. Some shows that he has previously designed for are the Socially Distanced Social Media Triple-Threat One-Actstraviganza, A Chorus Line and Mad Mac. He has also played various roles in shows and musicals such as Bobby in A Chorus Line, The Porter in Mad Mac, Tyler in iFeel and Tom in Radium Girls. Connor’s favorite part of theatre is forming a family and watching all of our shows come to life, so he is very excited for this upcoming year and to be able to finally perform for an audience again and to be able to see all of the technical elements in action!
Jason Cascone (Rosie Hutchings)
is currently a Junior at Empire High School and a thespian officer of Troope 7057. They enjoy acting both on the Vail Theatre stage as well as in community theatres. Her favorite roles she has played are Linda in Too Many Lindas at Live Theatre Workshop and being an audience plant in TRAP their freshman year. Aside from acting, Rosie has been interested in the technical side of theatre as well and wants to find more opportunities to explore that area. Her favorite part of theatre is the community it builds and the opportunities it gives you to grow as an individual.
Mitchell Peritz (Adriaan Pantfoeder)
This is Adriaan’s 2nd year in Drama 3 and 4th year in doing productions at Empire High School. His first year at Empire, he was not in a class, but he participated in the musical Legally Blonde. Sophomore year, he was in Drama 2 and participated in the musical The Drowsy Chaperone and the drama Radium Girls. Junior year he participated in Socially Distanced Social Media Triple-Threat One-Artstravaganza.
Terrence (Jacob Costa)
has been acting since Sophomore year of high school at Empire High School, currently a senior. Technically hasn’t performed in front of people until the upcoming 110 Stories play, and also in his third year of theatre currently.
Paul Adams  (Dayna Bustamante)
This is Dayna’s 2nd year in Drama 3, and first year in tech 3. Dayna is a senior and this is her 4th year in the theatre department. You may have seen her in Radium Girls as Madame Marie Curie, The Socially Distant Social Media One Artstravaganza as Jayna and Spokesperson, and Mad Mac as Sergeant, Second Apparition and Chorus and now 110 Stories as Paul Adams. She is also co-designing the sound for 110 Stories and was a spotlight operator for A Chorus Line. She is so excited to be apart of this show, she is honored to be portraying a real life hero. She is also really looking forward to Puffs.
Cary Sheih (Sophia Harms)
has been acting since Freshman year in the Empire Theater Department. She is a senior and this is her second year in Drama 3. Sophia has been in the productions of Legally Blonde: The Musical, Radium Girls, Socially Distanced Social Media Triple-Threat One-Actstraviganza, and Mad Mac. She has loved being a part of the Empire Theater Department and is looking forward to this year’s shows.
Bolivar Arellano (Zophia Zamora)
is a junior at empire higshchool and has been in theatre for 6 years total but three years at empire. Some of her favorite productions she has been apart of include The Drowsy Chaperone and A Chorus Line ( Where she played Diana ). Zophia is a thespian as well as an official thespian officer for troup 7057. She is ecstatic to be in the upcoming years productions and hopes to continue thriving in the theatre scene.
Mom (Kayla Nolan)
This is Kayla’s First year in a Drama class. She is a Senior at Empire High School. This is her third year participating in the Drama and arts department. Her roles have been featured in the chorus in Drowsy Chaperone, and Val in Chorus Line. Kayla is excited for all the amazing projects for this upcoming year and can't wait to participate in these productions.
Ro Sheffe (Race Postelwait)
is a junior at Empire, and this is his third year in the theatre department. They’ve played roles in The Drowsy Chaperone as Man In Chair, Olympiaganza as Narrator 2, and Page To Stage at Empire, and even more outside of Empire. His favorite performance was as Man In Chair in The Drowsy Chaperone. Race is very excited to perform in theatre for the next two years.
Natalie Roundtree (Mackenzie Smelker)
is a Junior at Empire High School and has been in the theater program since freshman year. She has been a performer whether that be dancing, singing, or acting since childhood. She is an official member of the International Thespian Society Troope #7057. Her favorite memory of theater so far was her script being chosen for Page to Stage last year. Mackenzie is very excited to continue her theater experience over the next two years.
Glenn Jinks  (Elizabeth Lonsway)
junior at Empire, has been a part of Empire theater department since freshman year and has done theater since middle school. Performed in Page to Stage, Olympiaganza, and A Chorus Line. She is also our publicity designer for 110 Stories and will be playing Glenn.
Dr. Jim Snyder (Adalia Elizondo-Craig)
is a senior at Empire high school. She started acting in elementary school and started acting at Empire her freshman year. She has helped tech during Trap and participated in 24 hour playfest. Her favorite role to date is Grace from Radium Girls. She is honored to be in 110 stories and help tell this story.
Karen Slade ( Mikayla Mendoza)
Mikayla is a senior at Empire Highschool. This is her second year in Drama 3 and her first year in Tech 3. Through her time in the Empire Theatre Department, she has acted in Radium Girls as Irene Rudolph, the 24 hr play Fest, Socially Distant Social Media Triple Threat One Act Extravaganza (#IFeel as Sam), and Mad Mac as Caithness and chorus. Tech wise she has been a part of makeup crew for The Drowsy Chaperone and did spotlight operation for A Chorus Line. She is very excited to be participating in 110 Stories and hopes to bring a well thought out and well executed character to the audience.
Lillian (Brooke LeRoy)
s a Junior at Empire High School and has taken theatre/tech classes all three years she’s attended. Brooke is an official theatre officer at Empire, as well as a member of the International Thespian Society. School is her main outlet to express her love of theatre, but she’s also employed at the Vail Theatre of the Arts where she’s learning more about the technical aspects. Her high school performances have included Page to Stage, Greek Mythology Olympiaganza as Prometheus, and now 110 Stories as Lillian. She’s excited to continue being a part of Empire’s theatre family for the coming years and grow as an actress and designer.
Michelle Wylde Williams (Sophie Bartholomew-Gonzalez)
s a Junior and she is enrolled in Advanced Drama and Tech 3. She has been involved in lots of shows at Empire High School including 24 Hour Play Festival, The Drowsy Chaperone, Greek Mythology Olympiaganza, A Chorus Line and Page to Stage. This will be her third year participating in Empire’s theatre department as an actress and her first year designing a tech element for a show. Sophie is currently an inducted member in the International Thespian Society and she loves to act and contribute to productions. She’s very excited to be involved in the theatre department at Empire for the next two years.
Father Bob Deming (Emma LaPointe)
Emma LaPointe is a junior at Empire High School, as well as an inducted thespian. She has been doing theatre since she was young at Live Theatre Workshop, and is thrilled to be a part of the Advanced Drama Program this year. Her favorite plays she has been in at Empire have been Drowsy Chaperone, A Chorus Line, and Page to Stage. Some of her favorite roles have been Lancelot in Spamalot, Lays in Page to Stage, and Richard in The Murder Mystery at the Murder Mystery. She is playing Father Bob Deming in 110 Stories, and couldn’t be more excited to perform this show for all of you.
Garrett Fisher (Raven May)
Raven May is a senior at Empire high school, and she has been doing theatre since third grade. She plays Garrett Fischer and is very excited to be a part of this production of 110 Stories. Some of her favorite roles over the years have been some of her favorite roles have included Tallulah in “Bugsy Malone Jr”, Magpie in “The Penny Dreadfuls”, D'Artagnan in “The Thrilling Tale of the Three Musketeers”, and Anna Fryer in “Radium Girls”. 110 Stories is a unique and moving show which is beautiful on paper and it is an honor to be putting it on stage.
Tony Esola (Heath Welker)
is a senior, and is in his fourth year of drama. He has been in Legally Blonde, the Drowsy Chaperone, (technically) TRAP, and many others. Having been in Technical Theatre for 2 years previously, he enjoys theatre and is excited to perform in yet another unique show.
Susan Flis (Darby Cech)
is a senior at Empire High School and is in her fourth year of drama. She is also the theatre department treasurer. She has been part of many productions including Radium Girls as Sob Sister, The Drowsy Chaperone and Mad Mac. She is in her third year of tech and is designing costumes for a couple of the department’s shows. She is very excited for the upcoming shows and hopes to perform on stage in front of a live audience.
BJ (Chloe Zavala)
Chloe is a sophomore at Empire and it’s her first year in Advanced Drama. She has been doing theatre since late elementary school. She recently started doing shows at Live Theatre Workshop such as Young Playwrights and Good Cop,Bad Cop.
Lou Trazino (Mykaela Elliott)
is a junior at Empire and has been in theater since freshman year. They are also in technical theater. Her first show was Drowsy Chaperone and she also did Greek Mythology Olympiaganza. They were one of the playwrights for a show in Page to Stage: Volume 10… again. She also helped plan out the costumes for 110 Stories.
Thomas (Sofia Jaramillo)
`Has been acting with Empire Theatre Department since her Freshman year. Sofia is currently a Junior in highschool and in her first year of Drama 3. She has been in the Drowsy Chaperone, has participated in The 24 Hour Play, The Greek Mythology Olypmiaganza and Page to Stage: Volume 10...again, in her second year of highschool theatre. In her free time, Sofia likes to listen to music and sing songs.
Officer Hernandez (Briana Resnick)
Has been acting with Empire Theatre since freshman year (2019) and is currently a junior. This is Briana’s first year in Drama 3. She has been performing on the stage since age 7 as she has been a dancer for most of her life. She also did musicals in elementary school and participated in choir in middle school. In 2020, she took part in The Greek Mythology Olympiaganza and Page to Stage: Volume 10...Again. She is an inducted member of Troupe 7057. She has found her love of acting and is excited to continue her next 2 years of theater.
Narrator (Raeanna Bejarano)
Junior at Empire, and has been acting in the Empire theatre program since Freshman year. This is her first year in Drama 3. Other than her years at Empire, she has been theatrically performing since she was in 4th grade. Her first musical at Empire was The Drowsy Chaperone in 2020. She also participated in the 24 hour plays held in January of that year as well. She performed in The Greek Mythology Olympiaganza, and the Page to Stage: Volume 10…Again her sophomore year. Raeanna became an official thespian member while in Drama 2, and is going to continue to happily perform throughout the rest of her high school years. Briana Resnick (Officer Hernandez) Has been acting with Empire Theatre since freshman year (2019) and is currently a junior. This is Briana’s first year in Drama 3. She
Rescue Worker (Isabel Vidrio)
is a senior at Empire High School. She has been on various stage performances since she was in 4th grade, mainly involving dance showcases. She has been doing theatre since she was in 8th grade and been a part of Empire Theatre since she was a sophomore. Her favorite performance she has been in is The Drowsy Chaperone. She hopes to continue maintaining her interest in theatre and performing throughout adulthood.
