The EFCT Queerceañera is a fundraiser for our upcoming 15th season that will provide a space where attendees can enjoy a quinceañera-inspired party, with inclusivity for gender-nonconforming, trans, and queer folx to show up as they would like to. We are also committing to donating 15% of the event donations to ALMA Chicago , a Chicago-based organization advocating for the fair treatment and equality of the Latinx LGBTQ+ community. As a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization that aims to create an inclusive space for theatre artists and audiences of all genders, sexualities, races, and ethnicities to engage with theatre, ALMA Chicago's mission is one EFCT cares about.

This party will include entertainment related to EFCT’s past and future productions, including performances from LGBTQIA+, Latine artists, and allies, as well as music, raffles, and, of course, the ability to enjoy drinks and food available for purchase at My Buddy’s.*** Attendees are encouraged to dress up in their dream Queerceañera outfit! Ballgown? Yes. Tux? Yes. Suit jacket and a tulle skirt? Anything you want! Break out those tiaras, sashes, and scepters. Dress it up or come casual. We welcome every style.
