A group of disciples help Jesus Christ tell different parables by using a wide variety of games, storytelling techniques and a hefty dose of comic timing. An eclectic blend of songs, ranging in style from pop to vaudeville, are employed as the story of Jesus' life dances across the stage. Dissolving hauntingly into the Last Supper and the Crucifixion, Jesus' messages of kindness, tolerance and love come vibrantly to life.

Started in 2013, DMPW is the result of many years of community theater experience by its founders. The mission is to provide community productions as well as offer a haven for artistic freedoms and equality. We offer scholarships to those in financial need for lessons in all facets of the performing arts, and also offer a learning theater environment for our Performance Works Youth Academy members. We insist on a no bully environment with a family atmosphere. We also offer outreach assistance with social issues and work to make our community a better place.
