Chip Tolentino, Jesus (Andrew Bielek)
Andrew Bielek is a Senior at Crescenta Valley High School. This is his first year of Musical Theater, second year of Theater classes at CVHS, as well as third year he is taking a theater class. He looks forward to performing his best in the shows he’s in.
Alix Q. Xander, Leaf's Mom (McKenna Booth )
McKenna is a seventeen year old junior who is currently working on THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE for her Musical Theatre class. She has been in theatre for most of her life, starring in THE LION KING, PETER PAN, and countless Christmas pageants, also having starred in a Nissan Titan commercial, many magazine photoshoots and modeling projects, as well as performing many dance and song recitals. She plans on continuing her acting career, as well as singing and writing. She would like to thank her Mom, Dad, family, best friend, friends, and teachers for their support and encouragement!
Dan Dad, Leaf's Dad, Olive's Dad, Samwell Smith (James Cartal)
Jamie Cartnal is a 16 year old Junior who is thrilled to finally be a part of his first live production with the CV theater department. His love for music and performing, along with the constant support from his family, friends, and amazingly talented castmates have all combined to make this show a great experience. In the future, Jamie plans to attend a 4-year university in which he hopes to study broadcasting and sports management.
Leaf Coneybear (Brock Cary)
Brock is excited to be in his third musical production at Crescenta Valley High School. He has been a part of the theater program at CV since his Freshman year, and has been doing the musical all the while. He has taken part in CV’s productions of The Addams Family, playing the part of Lucas Beineke, and The Fantasticks, playing Matt. He would like to thank his parents for all the love and support that they have shown him through all of his theatrical pursuits. He would also like to thank Mr. Beerman, Mrs. Chaplar, and Kay Cole for their support and dedication to the musical and theater programs at CV, and for the mentorship which they have provided him through the years. He looks forward to this year’s production, as well as what the future holds for him and his artistic endeavors
Marcy Park (Mary Duquette)
Mary is a current high school senior. She has been in the drama department for all four years of her high school career and has thoroughly enjoyed her experience. Currently she is in both Musical Theater and CV Players. Some of her previous roles include The Mom in the show Ghost Hunt and The Mom in the show A Christmas Story, but her current role is Marcy Park (who is almost certainly not a Mom).
Logainne Schwartzandgrubenniere (Katelyn Fester)
Katelyn Fester is a 17 year old Junior at Crescenta Valley High School. She has been acting and singing since elementary school and has been in several theater productions outside of CV. She also participated in last years Virtual Musical as well. She plans to pursue Musical Theater and Choral Singing in college. Her dream is to have a career in the performing arts, whether it’s on Broadway or in a traveling choir.
Vice Principal Douglas Panch, Carl Dad (Christian Kachkeran)
Christian is an 18 year old male who has been in 8 plays. He has 3 years of improv experience and 4 years of scripted theater experience. He has played as Ebenezer Scrooge in “A Christmas Carol” and as Bill Slank in “Peter and the Starcatcher”. He also has experience in Stage Crew as a carpenter and prop master. He wants to thank his high school Theater teacher Mr. Brent Beerman for giving him opportunities to explore his passion in theater.
Leaf's Sister, Cameron Detweiler (Amanda Lewin)
Amanda is 15 years old and a sophomore at CV. She has been involved in theater for 5 years and hopes to continue to be throughout her time at CV. She is also on the CV Pep Squad. She loves being in drama and on stage she was the lead in Annie in her junior high play.
Rona Lisa Perretti (Mia Mercolino)
Mia is 16 years old. She is a junior and in her first year as a student at CV. She has been acting and singing for most of her life and has taken many acting classes at her old high school and outside of school as well. She intends to act on Broadway and in film in the near future. She would like to thank her parents Eileen and Michael Mercolino for supporting her throughout her journey as well as her friends and acting teachers. Mia is excited to share her love for theatre for her new schoolmates.
Olive Ostrovsky (Madeline Novak)
Madeline Novak is a seventeen year old senior who is excited for her third and final musical at Crescenta Valley. She has been dancing for over fifteen years, which really introduced her to the world of performing arts, and in recent years has been experimenting more with musical theater, singing, and acting. She plans to attend a four year university next year with the hopes of becoming a special education teacher in the future, all while continuing to dance in her free time. She would like to give a huge thank you to Mrs. Chaplar and Mr. Beerman for always supporting her through long rehearsals and difficult scheduling conflicts, as well as both her mom and dad, who have dedicated hours on end of their lives to support her love for performing!
Wendy Barfee (Nicole Rowley)
Nicole is a senior at CV and has been performing since she was 5. She has been on the Varsity team of Comedy Sportz, a high school league improv team, since her freshman year while also being a 4-year choir member, now in CV’s Charismatics. She worked her way up to musical theater after being in The Fantasticks at CV her sophomore year. Since then she has been a part of the musical theater class taught by the wonderful Ms. Chaplar. She plans to attend Dixie (soon to be Utah Tech) State University in the fall majoring in Psychology.
Meg Mahoney, Olive's Mom (Karina Sanchez)
Karina Sanchez is a sophomore and is happy to be part of the musical theatre department at CV. She has been in a variety of productions and summer musical theatre programs throughout Los Angeles for the past 10 years. She hopes to pursue musical theatre in college in addition to studying for a bachelors degree in education. She would like to thank her parents and cast mates for helping her step out of her comfort zone. She is excited to see what the musical theatre world has in store for her.
