Ethan Barragan (Omid, Evan, Security Guard)
Ethan Barragan is a Junior in County Prep High School majoring in Performing Arts/Theatre. He has performed in many shows while in high school, such as: Hotel Paradise, Chicago, the Improv Show (2019, 2020), and the Holiday Show (2020). This year, he is very happy to be involved in a virtual play that he has contributed to creating. In the future Ethan aspires to be a great actor, pursuing his acting career and performing wherever action calls for him.
Reanna Cruz (Monica, Manager, Reporter, Student)
Reanna Cruz is a 17 years old Junior at County Prep High School. She has participated in several plays at County, including Paradise Hotel, You Can't Take It With You, and Little Women. Before going to County, she was in other plays such as Wonderful Wizard of Oz, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and The Lion King. She is so grateful for all the tremendous support everyone has given her so far. She couldn't have done it without you! The whole cast has worked really hard on this play and they hope it shows through their performances. That's one of the reasons why Reanna likes acting so much, a family is created during the process. This is unlike anything Reanna has been in because every scene revolves around an important topic that is still talked about and still an issue today. Reanna is so excited to be a part of this and can't wait for you to see it!
Tatyana Serrato (Kyra)
Tatyana Serrato is a Junior who has a passion for theater arts and singing. She has been cast in musicals with different acting tropes as roles in Mulan, Annie, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, High School Musical, Brooklyn the Musical, Chicago, and Little Women. She has been under the musical guidance of Melody's Music Studio in Bayonne for 9 years and is extremely passionate about singing. Before the pandemic, she took musical theater at Latin Groove Dance Academy for 3 years. Tatyana was also apart of numerous County Prep events such as the Holiday Show, Improv Show, Open Mic Night, Talent Show, and hosted Karaoke Night. She would like to thank her family and friends who always support her and thank God for all her blessings. She’d also like to give a big thank you to Mrs. Shields and her fellow classmates for all their hard work and dedication towards writing, producing, and filming this show!
Megan Wasserman (Ms. Sosa, Sarah)
Megan Wasserman is a Junior at County Prep High School. She has been performing in shows for many years. Such shows have been Brooklyn The Musical, Chicago The Musical, Drowsy Chaperone, Sound of Music, and many more. Megan has loved being part of this special production, and would like to thank the cast and crew for making this production happen.
Jaden Misaro (Treyvon, Miguel, Lance)
Jaden Misaro is a young aspiring actor, who prior to this performance performed in the 2019 5th Annual Improv Show, the straight play Paradise Hotel as a Porter, Chicago The Musical as a Security Guard/Singing and Dancing Ensemble Member, the 2020 6th Annual Improv Show, and the straight play You Can’t Take It With You as Donald. He sees himself as a movie actor and looks forward to any feature productions.
Fred Veloz (Kei, Rio)
Frederick Veloz is a great talented actor for a junior his age. He does impersonations of TV characters recognizable to any people who are fans of them. This is his fifth play here in County Prep and was grateful for the roles he played. He had four other plays during his entire time in the Theatre Arts Program. His prior roles were The Porter (Hotel Paradise), Ensemble and Harry (Chicago the Musical), Mr. DePina (You Can’t Take It with You), John Brooke and Braxton (Little Women).
Arbaz Khan (Professor Wilik, Mike, Hussein)
Arbaz Khan is a 19 year old Senior at County Prep. He is a Theater major and loves it. He performed in the Improv Jamboree sophomore year. The roles he got before were Max in Paradise Hotel also his sophomore year, Amos in Chicago his Junior year, Mr. Kirby in You Can’t Take It with You his Junior, and Prof. Bhaer & Knight in Little Women his senior year. He is looking to be a professional actor. He won a Finalist Award for the Governor's Award for Improv and received nominations for three Foxy Award for best actor in a Musical, best acting ensemble and best production. He is fluent Punjabi and Urdu. He is not afraid to play any role whether it’s a female role or older character.
Sinaè Brooks (Raquel)
Sinaè Brooks is a 16 year old Sophomore at County Prep High School. She’s currently majoring in Performing Arts/Theatre. Ever since she was younger, she’s always had love for the stage and just the theatre itself. Before high school, she has also participated in the drama program, in which she played the lead role of “Snoozy” in Snoozy The Snowflake in an elementary school play, and in middle school, of the lead role of “Nala” in The Lion King. Despite the few shows she has acted in, she has always helped backstage and brought the show alive as stage manager. These contributions went to the plays, Little Shop Of Horrors, Wizard of Oz, and The Jungle Book. With her love of being on stage and acting, she does seek to participate more in County Prep school productions and is more than happy to be a part of this well done piece.
Emely Rivera (Denise, Esther)
Emely Rivera is a Junior at County Prep High School. She's been performing in shows ever since her Freshman Year at County Prep! She has been in many shows such as Brooklyn the Musical as Melba (CPHS 2019), Disney's Descendants: The Musical as Cruella De'Ville (AspirePAC 2019), Chicago (High School Edition) as June (CPHS 2020), and County's Holiday Show. Emely will also be performing later this summer in AspirePAC's staged concert of Les Misérables as Featured Ensemble and Madame Thénardier U/S. Performing is such a passion for her, and to be apart of this play has been super fun for her!
James Quach (Travis)
James is a Senior at County Prep and he majors in Theatre Arts. The plays that he was involved in were the Improv Show, Chicago (Backstage), and Emerson High. Growing up, he was always a shy person but after majoring in Theatre Arts, he started to open himself up more. He likes to clown around most of the time and drink coffee on Saturdays.
Abigail Burch (Tracy)
Abigail Burch is a Freshman who has performed in multiple plays as well as a short film. She’s played in The Addams Family, Bring It On, Hamlet, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and other monologues or small scenes. She’s very happy to have been apart of another performance even through this pandemic. She’s very proud of how amazing this play is and how much work her fellow students have put into it.
Ariel Rivera (Tara, Robin)
Ariel is a Senior in County Prep and has performed in the musicals, “How to succeed in business without really trying” as the character of Smitty, “Brooklyn the Musical'' as the lead role Brooklyn, and “Chicago” as the character Featured Character Mama. Her most recent performance was as the character of Marmee in the wonderful virtual musical production of “Little Women”. Prior to this, she has been participating in musical theatre and straight play productions since the age of 11. Throughout the years, she has worked with well known faces such as Savion Glover in NJPACs theatre programs. Ariel is also a wonderful singer who has been performing since the young age of 4. She has performed in many social settings such as pageants, festivals, and competitions. She wants to continue her development as an actress and performer and plans on majoring in theatre arts after graduation.
Kayla Velazquez (Paloma, Micah)
Kayla Velazquez is a 17 year old senior at County Prep High School. Throughout her 4 years of high school, she has been in the following productions: How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying (Bud Frump), Bodas de Sangre (Ensemble), Brooklyn (Paradice), Chicago (Velma Kelly), You Can’t Take it With You (Essie Carmichael), and Little Women (Jo March). She was nominated for The Rising Star Awards for the Papermill Playhouse and received a Foxy Award for Outstanding Achievement By An Acting Ensemble. Kayla is always willing to step out of her comfort zone and play a male role to the best of her abilities. She is a motivated actress in training who dreams to succeed in the acting business.
Ivellisses Segovia (Mama, Counsellor, Social St. Teacher)
Ivellisses is a Senior here at County Prep. She is an aspiring Actress/Artist/Creative. She started her journey in acting, her sophomore year. Over the years, she has progressed and experienced much growth. She has starred in Brooklyn The Musical, Chicago The Musical, and Little Women The Musical, as well as straight plays, such as, Paradise Hotel, You Can't Take It With You, and Annual Comedy Shows/ Jamborees. Through her incredible effort and craft, she has gained many awards, and has even won the Jane Grey Burgio Memorial Scholarship for the Rising Star Awards. She will also be enrolled and accredited a scholarship for the 2021 Musical Theater Conservatory Program this summer. She is extremely grateful and excited for this opportunity and aims to grow and bask in what is most passionate in, The Arts. Ivellisses would like to take a moment and thank her peers, family, and most importantly Ms. Shields for her patience, encouragement and mentorship. She will miss her theatre family!
Alyssa Anglade (Charlie, Policeman)
Alyssa Anglade is a Senior at County Prep high school. She plays a variety of characters such as: Charlie and Policeman from Emerson High, Cell Block Tango Girl from Chicago, Tony from Now What?, and Policeman from Paradise Hotel. Ever since she started majoring in Theatre in middle school, she fell in love with the craft. She hopes to continue her acting after high school through her community theatre group. Recently, Alyssa won a Finalist Award for Improvisation Pairs at the Governor's Award Competition.
Brianna Lutin (Monica's Mom)
Briana is a 15 year old actress who has big dreams on becoming a professional actress. She has been acting since the age of 5 and recently performed in Little Women (Aunt March). She is excited for you to see this marvelous play.
Mathew Segovia (Nathan, Lucas, ...)
Mathew Segovia, who has now been in a total of four musical productions! (Les Miserables, Chicago, Little Women, and now County Preps very own Emerson High!) He’s absolutely excited to present this piece to any and all audience members. Throughout his time at County Prep, he has been nominated for Rising star award and has won a teen arts award for Outstanding Achievement! Even now he continues to climb and work as he Weill be attending the PaperMill Playhouse Conservatory program this summer!
Khira Fried (Rebecca, Marie)
Khira is a Junior in high school who has a passion for singing and the arts. She has been a part of many productions such as Chicago: The Musical, Les Mis, Mary Poppins, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and many more. Khira loved being a part of this unique and inspiring production and cannot wait for everyone to see the hard work and dedication put into making it happen!
