Donnie Riddle (Bobby Strong)
Donnie Riddle (he/him) is thrilled to make his Conundrum debut with such a fun and cheeky show. A recent LA transplant by way of Chicago, Donnie has previously appeared as Collins (RENT) and Lewis (Pippin), and he will be taking the Broadwater stage once more in March to play the role of Georg (Spring Awakening). Outside of musical theater, Donnie’s interests are anchored in anything that has to do with video games, comics, or super heroes. While Bobby Strong is certainly one of his dream roles, his ultimate goal is to originate the titular role in the-yet-to-be-written hit, “Batman: The Musical.” You can see more of what Donnie is up to by following him on instagram @Driddle_98
Morgan Meadows (Hope Cladwell)
Morgan Meadows (she/her) is thrilled to make her Conundrum debut in a dream role(!) as a very recent NYC transplant. Favorite New York, off-broadway, and regional credits include: Dike (New York Theatre Workshop, Urbanite Theatre), The Great Lesbian Love of Eve Adams (Irondale Theatre, The Tank), Ragtime (Baryshnikov Arts Center), Ivy in bare: a pop opera (Richmond Triangle Players, RTCC Best Actress Nomination), Crissy in HAIR (Firehouse Theatre), and Jupiter’s Lifeless Moons (Performance Space NY), which evolved into Night Vale’s hit podcast: dreamboy. When not onstage Morgan can be found behind the mic where she works as a full time voice actor. She’s voiced thousands of commercials, worked on the recent Forza Motorsport video game on X-Box, and plays many wacky characters in the animated series Lil Wild. Lia Peros (Penelope Pennywise)
Lia Peros (she/her) is thrilled to be making her Conundrum debut! Favorite NYC and SoCal credits include Missy (The Marvelous Wonderettes), Rona Lisa Peretti (25th …Spelling Bee), Smitty (How to Succeed), Mrs. Phagan (Parade), The Secret Garden, The Addams Family, South Pacific, My Fair Lady, A Christmas Carol, and Manson’s Girls at the Hollywood Fringe Festival. Lia also can be heard on the popular sci-fi podcast Ars Paradoxica as Petra, the time-traveling test subject. She has participated in countless developmental readings and workshops at New Musicals, Inc. in North Hollywood. During the holiday season, Lia can also be heard caroling around Los Angeles with Yuletide Carolers by Michetti/Knowles Entertainment. Jack Bernaz (Caldwell B. Cladwell)
Jack Bernaz (he/him) returns to the Conundrum stage after his debut in their recent production of She Loves Me. March is Insane Sadistic Billionaire month for Jack, as he began the month portraying the title character in Mr. Burns; a Post-Electric Play, at Valley College. Other recent villainous roles (you know the shows,) include Miss Trunchbull, Uncle Ben Loman, and the male and female villains in two different productions of Cinderella. Favorite non-villainous roles (you know the shows,) include The Stage Manager, Sir John Falstaff and Murray the Cop. Love & Gratitude always to patrons of live theater everywhere.
Adam Slemon (Officer Lockstock)
Adam Slemon (he/him) is excited to be making his Conundrum debut. He hails from the east coast and performed in several national tours before settling in California. When he’s not acting or writing, Adam can be found producing live TV shows like the Oscars, the Emmys, and the Kid's Choice Awards. Favorite roles include Joseph Garcin in No Exit, Dan in Next to Normal, and being a mainstage player at IO West (R.I.P.). He’d like to thank Mandie, Frankie, and Beans for their never ending support, Conundrum for the opportunity, and you for giving him a platform for his tomfoolery. Leo Tamez (Officer Barrel / Officer Lockstock Understudy)
Leo Tamez (he/him) is pleased to be making his Conundrum Debut. Some of his previous credits include Aldolpho (The Drowsy Chaperone), Sweeney Todd (Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street), and Rapunzel’s Prince (Into the Woods Cabaret). Jaya Mapleton (Little Sally)
Jaya (she/her) is thrilled to be back at Conundrum and performing with this stellar cast! Favorite roles include Wendla (Spring Awakening) and Mary Robert (Sister Act). Jaya holds a B.A. in Geography from UCLA and works for an environmental nonprofit.
Josh Medina (Senator Fipp / Ensemble)
Josh Medina (he/him) is flabbergasted to make his Conundrum debut as Senator Fipp. Beyond the stage, Josh is a stand-up comedian, delighting audiences across various Los Angeles venues. Heartfelt gratitude extends to his mom, best friend Gavin, and the incredible friends at Warner Bros & Country Day for their steadfast support. Josh also extends a very special thanks to the Conundrum family for this exciting opportunity.
Kylie Buckles-Hall (McQueen / Ensemble)
Kylie Buckles-Hall (she/her) is just a girl living la vida loca with a heart full of gratitude, rocks in her pockets, and a dream. Some past favorite roles include MiMi Marquez in Condrum’s Rent, Logainne in the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and most recently Catherine in Pippin. Sander Acheron (Hot Blades Harry / Ensemble)
Sander Acheron (they/them) is thrilled to be making their Conundrum debut. This is their second time as a citizen of Urinetown, with the first being an all-greenscreen production in 2020. They’re very happy to actually be able to see their castmates. Favorite credits include The Narrator (Into the Woods), Plankton (SpongeBob The Musical), and Calliope (XANADU).
Aaron Lempert (Soupy Sue / Ensemble)
Aaron Lempert (he/they) is returning to Conundrum for his second show, and is so excited he could pee himself! Previous acting credits include Arvin (Zanna Don’t), Pippin (Pippin), All Shook Up (Dean), Les Miserables (Enjolras), etc. and music directing credits include Last 5 Years and American History Shocked! Zach Troutman (Tiny Tom / Ensemble)
Zach Troutman (he/him) is over the moon to be a part of this production, marking his debut with Conundrum Theatre Company! Caitlin Hsu Tobin (she/her) is making her Conundrum debut and is so happy to be welcomed to the family. Previous credits include Olive and Marcy (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), Crystal (Little Shop of Horrors), Electra (Cats), Nicely (Guys and Dolls) Gabriella (High School Musical), Gertrude (Seussical), and Ursula (The Little Mermaid). Jillian Stern (Mrs. Millennium / Ensemble)
Jillian Stern (she/her) graduated last year from UCSD with a BA in Theatre and Dance and is excited to be performing in her first show with Conundrum! She is also super excited to revisit the world of Urinetown, having played Soupy Sue in her sophomore year of high school! Sophia Rodriguez (Billy Boy Bill / Ensemble / Little Becky Two Shoes Understudy)
Sophia Rodriguez (she/her) is so excited to be making her Conundrum debut in urinetown! She is thrilled to be back in the world of musical theater following her graduation from UCLA, where she most recently worked with the Latine Film and Theater Association on their short films Ni En Mis Sueños and Como Quisiera. Other credits include Enid Hoopes in Legally Blonde and Roz Keith in 9 to 5! Outside of theater, Sophia is a folklórico dancer and works doing homelessness outreach for the City of Los Angeles.
